I have had a mini-split that has not worked in over a week. It all started out ok. Ty, the technician was very knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. He gave me several options and suggestions about what to do in my situation. According to him there were several refrigerant leaks due to improper installation by our contractor. He promised to get me an estimate for a replacement unit with labor. Fast forward a day. I have heard nothing back. I call. And am promised that he will be calling me asap. I know it’s smack dab in the middle of the hottest time of the year and they are slammed busy. I understand. But when the next day rolls around and I still haven’t heard anything, especially after being promised, I’m a little irritated, not to mention very sweaty. I call back. And this time am able to go ahead and make an appointment out of desperation and heat exhaustion for a complete unit replacement two days out, with the promise of an estimate. Next morning, no estimate. I call around lunchtime. I’m promised a supervisor will call me. He does. And proceeds to tell me that #1. My appointment should never have been scheduled without an estimate being provided to me. And #2. The cost of replacing the unit will be anywhere from $15k-$25k! I died laughing. I’m not super knowledgeable about current rates for hvac services, etc but I have done enough research to know that it costs nowhere near that to replace a mini split unit. Especially when the electrical connections and concrete slab are already in place! That was confirmed by my next 3 estimates I received from different companies that have averaged around $6k. Between the horrible response time, lack of communication between their staff in regards to getting the information to the customer in a timely fashion, and what seems to be obvious price-gouging, I would never recommend them to anyone. I’m very glad that I didn’t go with them for my replacement unit and installation.

We had the absolute worst experience with this company. If I could give a negative number rating, I would. Before getting to the worst, I'll mention the only good thing. The actual plumbers we worked with were wonderful! They are very knowledgeable, experienced, competent, and responded directly in a timely manner. The company itself/ administration side, especially customer service is just horrible. We needed to have all of the plumbing replaced under our foundation. We were quoted a reasonable price and were told entire the turnaround time would be about 2 weeks. They showed up to start the trench and tunnel under the house. However, that alone took several weeks. It then took another couple weeks before the actual plumbing work was done. Then, they promptly forgot about us. This, of course, was after we'd already paid 99% of the bill (which was tens of thousands of dollars). I called about 3-4 times a week and about a month later, they finally had the tunnel refilled. It took another month and many, many more calls for them to finally fill in the giant trench in our front yard. About 10 more calls and several more weeks for take away the rocks and debris left behind. When they started, they also move a giant rock from the side of our house where the trench would be to the middle of the yard. We were promised at the time that the rock would be moved back in place when the job was completed. 5 more calls were made to Daniel's advising that we will pay the remaining amount of the bill once the rock is replaced and being told many times I would receive a call back, and never ever have. I then received the invoice for the remaining amount, with no information or regard to my request to move the rock back, as promised. It has taken over 4 months total to get where We are now. I have never gotten a call back when I've been told I would. I have spent many hours and hundreds of phone calls trying to get this job completed.

I recently used Daniel's Plumbing for repairs on my shower and the installation of a whole house water filtration system, and I have to say I was impressed with the service I received. As a brand new customer, I was pleased with the convenience of being able to book my appointment online, which saved me the hassle of making a phone call or sending an email. The initial appointment was with Mack. He was personable and professional. He took the time to explain what was wrong with my shower and what would need to be done to fix it. He also explained the benefits of having a whole house water filtration system, which helped me make an informed decision. Chris was the plumber who came out for the repair and installation. We were faced with a complex situation due to how our main water line came into the house. Chris and team were able to assess the situation and provide me with a couple solutions to choose from. And while the job did take longer than expected, I'm happy with the results so far. I also appreciate the option to sign up for their membership, which offers additional benefits and discounts. I plan on taking advantage of this in the future and will definitely consider using Daniel's Plumbing again for any plumbing needs. Overall, I'm giving Daniel's a 4-star review for their excellent service and knowledgeable team. If the membership benefits are as good as they seem, I may even come back to update my review to 5-stars. Highly recommended!

Daniel's was recommended to me recently by a neighbor in my building when my AC went out. I was using another company that was making error after error and in the end, it turned out I had a leak. It was going to take them days and a lot of money to replace the part and so I started calling around. Martin at Daniel's was willing to talk to me and use the diagnosis I had (versus taking a week to send their own guy out and another week for the part to arrive). They also recognized that while I could replace the part, only that would have the warranty, versus if I replace for whole Air Handler (which wasn't a ton more in the grand scheme of things), I'd have a new system (this is the inside part) with the work warrantied for one year but all the parts warrantied for five years. AND they could have it installed the next day. Berny and Josue were the installers - they were courteous, good natured, and funny. The job took a lot longer than they expected, but they stuck with it and finally left around 8:30pm agreeing to come back first thing the next morning to ensure everything was working and I was happy. The next morning, they found another problem with the outside unit (the refrigerant was mixed with the gas the prior company used to detect the leak, and that caused some issues) that they fixed as part of all of this, as they wanted to see the job done properly and well. I'm definitely a fan!

Stay Away!! Absolutely wouldn’t recommend these guys. When I scheduled the appointment, I was told 49.99$ and then parts and labor based on diagnosis. Mine was capacitor issue on the outside unit which I myself figured and informed when I scheduled the service. The technician literally took 5-10 mins, changed the capacitor and charged 500$. When asked why such high price just for a capacitor change, he is been blunt and said that’s what costs to maintain the business. Also been rude saying if you want, I could just put the old one back and you can get a new guy to replace it. Very unprofessional and a very very costly deal for the work that was just 10 mins to do. My friend in the community got the same work down through Stan’s AC who charged only 89$. Unfortunately I couldn’t get hold of them today as they were busy and ended with these very unprofessional and after money business. Wouldn’t recommend at all, I wonder how they got some good reviews. Stay away, not worth your money.

They were quickly available and sent out the very best technician. Neco was professional, and kind. Worked extremely hard for over five hours to make sure that my AC worked by the end of the day. We had been been without AC for two days in over 100° weather. Neco did his due diligence check every aspect and made sure all the problems where resolved. Even though he had worked all day in the heat he went the extra mile to make sure there were no hiccups. As well he was great with my animals and very trustworthy. I would highly recommend requesting Neco. I was very impressed. A company is only as good as the employees that they provide Neco is a solid reputation of there quality. Ty Bahar and Daniel’s Plumbing and Air Conditioning are the best! My HVAC unit suddenly stopped working late on a Friday night, and I called Daniel’s for help on Saturday morning. Ty arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem (failed thermostat that needed to be replaced) and fixed it. He also guided me through how to use the new thermostat’s functions, and then he checked both the AC and the heater to make sure all was tuned up properly before Austin’s cold weather begins in a few days. In my 30 years of home ownership, Ty is one of the best service pros I’ve had the pleasure to work with, and Daniel’s is one of the best companies I’ve seen. Highly recommended!!!

After calling a few HVAC contractors Daniel's responded promptly with a call back to schedule the following day. Several follow up contacts were made from Daniel's to ensure that the scheduled time was ok and Phillip the technician would be contacting us 30 minutes prior to arriving. I have to say that I am very impressed not only with the punctuallity of the office staff but Phillip was professional in all areas of servicing in the field. Ran into a problem with my AC drain line not draining. While I was able to eventually to fix this problem myself (Mud dauber nest in the line) it didn't explain the how my AC unit didn't shut off like it was supposed to. There is a float attached to the unit that supposed to catch that. Called Daniel's and they dispatched Ty. He quickly verified my float was operating normally. He also ran a couple of other checks on the system. All for $49.50 (the price of a house call). This doesn't quite totally answer the question of why it didn't shut the unit down. But I decided to put that off for another day. I was just happy the unit was fully operational.

I would like to give out a huge thank you to Martin the service manager and Berny the installer for installing my new AC system and making things right. Martin was very honest and upfront with me with everything during this whole process he showed leadership, true technical skill and above all respect that goes a long way with me being ex-military and a disabled veteran. I got 6 plumbing quotes before (because I had a BIG job) and then Daniel's came out and I knew these guys were the ones for the job. They were super friendly and I had a good intuition that they weren't trying to rip me off or take advantage of me. They seemed super knowledgeable (they have been around forever) and the have a LOT of positve reviews. I'm so glad I went with them and not one of the other companies I almost went with. Their price was much more fair and the job got done right. I am so relieved my plumbing is resolved and I didn't have to remortgage my house in the process. I can't recommend them enough!

I could not find his name in your listing of employees. Matt was very professional, knowledgeable in his field, explained everything he found that could be improved in my old system, 18 yrs, i agree with him. Also my system still works, but it may suddenly break down. Everything he said, he showed me with pictures or a recorder indicating (bad). Sometimes the rust, heat,... indicating he is right. Then he explained the company services and policies in detail, i liked that, i promised him i will be a member to receive the services and discounts. He is a good, knowledgeable, honest employee.

Great experience, will definitely use Daniel’s yearly! I am a first time home buyer and this summer is my first time dealing with major AC issues. It’s definitely important to me to educate myself on home appliances and repairs, how to maintain them, how they function etc. It’s also important to me to know trusted and knowledgeable individuals who can assist when things don’t work. Extreme robbery in terms of parts cost markup. They listed a simple $10 part at $564 on their internal website. Furthermore they chatged $499 for another simple PVC pipe fitting which took less than 15mins. All in all charged me $1100 for a less than $100 job. After finishing their job my entire AC brokedown within minutes and they then claimed its just an old unit which was going to breakdown anyway and i need to replace it with a $26000 unit they recommend. Did not fix issue and caused more issues. Would not recommend them to my worst enemies!

Within the past month we had our whole air conditioning system replaced by Daniel's and someone come to fix an issue with the pump that transfers water from the inside unit, out of the house. The installation was great but I previously left a negative review regarding the latter because of the time it took to get a technician to respond. The service manager Martin has responded to that review and is addressing all of the problems to our satisfaction. It shows us that Daniel's really cares about their long time customers.

Service is great, good communication, accurate , completes the work on time, All 5 stars except price !!! Called for gas leak and over a grand for gas leak check!!! I had no option due to emergency and had to take the service. more than 1/2 grand for changing valve !!! Seems super expensive. I do not know what others charge for this, but given the emergency I had no time for multiple quotes. If someone with similar service from other vendors agrees on similar pricing let me know and I will change the stars.

Total useless service except the drain inspection with camera. Why should anybody pay you guys just to drain water from water heaters? And the charge is per water heater. Looks like i paid for sales person to come in, not for any professional help. I will not recommend this to anyone. thanks for your response but the service i received was just a simple task. no inspection was done or there was no professional work done so the service provided was not worth it.

Ross did a great job cleaning the kitchen sink drain clog which was on the outside of the house. He had to run the auger through a couple of time and he ran the camera through to make sure the pipe looked good. The way the plumbing has originally been done needs some fixing, but he got the sink draining sufficiently to use until that can be done. Thanks, Ross for taking the time and figuring it all out with me.

Our A/C wasn’t working in this crazy heat and I called Daniels and they sent Ty out to repair my system. Even though it was late, Ty was super nice and made sure I was up back and running. This isn’t the first time Daniels has repaired my system and I’m always happy with the service. As a matter of fact, I’m going to request Ty everytime I need work or repairs done. Great job guys!

Ross did a great job. Super chill dude, and worked quickly and efficiently. It seemed a little pricy for just snaking the kitchen sink ($380) but they came same-day and fixed what I asked, so I can’t really complain. Plus, Ross doesn’t set the prices, so I don’t hold that over him. He was very nice and professional.
