I called D&N as my AC stopped working. I agreed to pay the emergency fee of $180 and the technician Jonathan was great. He figured out the issue and $380 (Emergency Fee and Hours worked) later I asked for a quote to repair the AC. They explained that R22 is no longer used/available and costly. They said they would check on the parts and call me back. I did not hear anything for most of the next day and I called for an update. Receptionist said she would talk to the boss. Did not hear back. Called again and said, after researching I want a quote for a replacement. Received the quote in about 2 hrs which was both fast and fair. It turned out I had a quote setup for another property with Chris at D&N the next morning for a quote to convert from swamp to AC, and I asked him about when they could get the repair/replacement scheduled. He said he had a cancellation the next day, and would get me penciled in and just needed to check if they had the equipment or could get it. I called the next morning and asked the receptionist if I was on the schedule to make sure I was available. She said I was not on the schedule and would have to talk to Chris So, my thinking was that I paid for the emergency service for two reasons. A quick response (which I got), and B, the repair of my AC (So far no return calls or follow up). I happened across a great plumber that came out immediately, and unfortunately had to re-diagnose the issue himself to be sure he was on the same page. He agreed with D&N and came out this morning and replaced the unit this morning. They also went to my other home and provided a quote for the Swamp to AC. I ended up paying about $700 more than D&N’s quote, and I had to eat the $380 that was not needed after the other plumber replaced the unit. I liked the guys I interacted with, but do not waste your money on the emergency fee. They more than likely do not have the parts and I am sure the techs would rather be home with their families. It is really a false sense of security that repairs will be done that night. Basic things yes, complex issues, not so much. All in all, D&N lost approx 28k in business today. If the lack of response is an indication of how the install is/was going to go, then no thanks. I got to go with the guy that calls back, shows up, and gets the job done. I was without an AC for almost a week, while paying the “Emergency” fee, and have no idea if they are ever going to call back. No need for a call back now, but going to be awkward if they do. Gave them a 2 star as the interactions were great, and felt like I was going to be taken care of. This is technically would have been a 1 star if it were won’t for my interactions with the Tech Jonathan and the Sales guy Chris. I am curious how many folks actually get a call back though???

I usually don't write reviews but felt that I had to with my recent experience with Day and Night Plumbing. My daughter needed to replace her kitchen sink due to a crack in her existing sink. I called D/N plumbing and they were able to schedule a tech to do the replacement (customer provided sink). Let's just say the installation was less than good. After the tech left, the sink started leaking due to the connections used in the install. Jump ahead one day. I called and spoke with Michelle and explained the situatio. She was very apologetic and assured me that a different tech would be back to fix the problem. Mike and Cody arrived and took care of the problem. They were very professional and had the problem fixed in less than an hour. What could have turned out to be a very serious problem was handled without question and now the sink works and looks great. My hat off to Mike, Michelle, Cody and D/N Plumbing. After my initial impression, I have to say that I would definitely be calling them for any future plumbing work. *****Update to previous post: Not long after I posted this review the sink started backing up into the dishwasher with dirty water. I called D/N and explained the problem. They said that they could come by and for an additional cost "fix" the problem. I called another plumbing company and scheduled an appointment to have them look at the sink. I'm happy to say that Central Plumbing came right out and actually fixed the problem and it only took 30 minutes. Mark was professional, and explained exactly what the problem was and fixed it. Even though this is a review for D/N plumbing, I want to give a shot out to Central Plumbing LLC and to Mark in particular for the great response and professional attitude. If I ever have any future plumbing needs I will definitely call on Central Plumbing LLC

I had a break in the water line between the shutoff in the yard and the house. I located and exposed the leak in the pipe myself, but I needed a professional plumber to actually fix it. I called Day & Night, and they sent two plumbers out, Preston Talbert and Luis Saiz. Preston and Luis got here right when they said they would, and did a very professional job. They were pleasant to talk to, and got the job done very quickly. I was doing as much of the prep and back-fill work as possible on my own, and they were nice enough to give me some tips on how to do a good job on my parts, such as to cut the edges of the concrete with a circular saw next time before jackhammering it, and to make sure to use dry dirt to refill the hole. This was my second time to use Day & Night for an outside plumbing job, in the last 5 years. I was 100% satisfied both times, and will be calling them for future jobs. By the way, the connector they used to re-connect the two sides of the broken pipe was the most amazing high-tech plumbing connector I've ever seen (see the picture). I expect this connector to last just about forever. It costs more than a simple PVC connector, but I think I will be requesting this type of connector from now on.

Very disappointed with this company. Came out 3 times to fix my swamp cooler and was never fixed right because it kept breaking down. The last time it broke they said it needed another part. So I waited 3days and called back to see if they got the part. I was told they never ordered it and it would be another week or longer to get it. I spent over 400 dollars for nothing. They left us without a Air-conditioning for almost 2weeks now with 100 degree heat. Had to call someone else and it was fixed in less than 1hour.Please don't waste your money or time because this might happen to you. They take advantage of costumers and are very frustrating to work with. What a very bad experience I had. What a nightmare. The 3rd time they came out I was told it was still under warranty. Not only they lie,they have an excuse for every mistake they make. I know they will turn this whole thing around and try to blame the costumer. Try to do better and not rip people off .

Simple switch from furnace to swamp cooler. Two techs were dispatched -one was an apprentice in training. The company sent text messages with names of each tech & ETA. They were both great guys to welcome in my home & took time to be thorough. The initial charge was much more than expected, but their customer service gal caught an error in billing & rectified it the next day. She was terrific at addressing my concerns & explaining the merger of companies (vans had Duke City signage). She also offered me a yearly membership that covers summer + winter transitions + priority service + discounts on other plumbing services for $250/yr. This is a good deal (apparently rates increased 25% since last winter!). So now I'm paid till next spring & only need to make an appt when winter hits...no wait list! I think these are good folks who gave me the sense that they are reliable & want to earn repeat customers.

These guys are fantastic. Called for emergency service late on a Wed afternoon. Only company out of 9 contacted that would see me before 48 hours -- 2 days! They would have come that night charging an after hours fee, but they were also available at 7 the next morning for normal rates ($95/hr -- smack dab in the middle of high and low for 8 other plumbers I called). I chose the next morning. Immediately received a text and email confirming the appointment. Received a text the next morning when Mike and Kyle were on the way. They explained their plan, answered my questions as I watched them work, and thoroughly cleaned up the mess. They were both very pleasant and professional. Top notch customer service and plumbing expertise. Based on my experience with Mike and Kyle, I highly recommend this company. I will definitely call them again for any plumbing problems or HVAC work.

I've used these guys before for a very small job, but this was the first big issue I've run into as a homeowner, and they handled it well. They sent me a message letting me know who would be arriving at my home and when, and Marcos was great. He showed up on time as expected, and gave a ballpark idea of cost before work started. After he finished, the total came in pretty much dead center in his range, and within the amount I expected to pay for the service. I wasn't able to be at home, and had to leave the task of handling this service call to my wife, who is not savvy about home repair. Marcos did a great job of making her comfortable and explaining everything she needed to know, and was able to communicate with me over the phone as needed. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will continue to use this company again as needed. Best of all, I can use my water again!

Well they're were an hr late when they had a 10 to noon window. Then ran over my daughter's basketball goal. Damaging it beyond use. After 2 days of being treated poorly they finally offered a partial payment to replace what was new and perfect before they hit it. All on camera too. A partial payment doesn't replace a full bball goal. The owner Derek is rude and likes to challenge the law. He thinks he is an attorney not a plumber Reply... You emailed a digital gift card that is a total of $18.79 short of the cost. So don't pat your back to hard. You and your company Derek are a complete joke. Oh not to mention its only an online gift card at that. Bravo. Day and Night. Also don't down play the damge the goal is trash just like your attitude and company.

After a no show from the plumber who was supposed to arrive, I called Day n Night and they were able to send someone the next day. We had a kitchen faucet installed as well as a leak repaired in the bathroom. Mike took care of this. We did have a call back 3 weeks later with a drip under the kitchen sink. Luis came out and was able to quickly remedy the issue. He was also kind enough to to help diagnose an improperly installed shower head and took care of that as well. It was nice to feel heard with your questions and not feel like someone was rushing to get the job done. Luis was pleasant, used Covid protocols and even removed his shoes. We won't hesitate to call for anything further and would highly recommend this company.

I could write a small article on how much trouble we've had with our gas fireplace and the companies and techs that have come to "fix" it but I will keep it short. Preston from Day and Night Plumbing was fast, honest and on time. As a homeowner, it's very difficult to find people/companies that do good work. This company has always sorted us out fairly and quickly. I can't thank them enough but they certainly deserve a stellar review and a high recommendation. Stop looking right now and pick up the phone. Trust me, I get one day off a week. I can't afford to mess around with sub par companies that don't show up on time and say "it's broken, going to need a new one" when all you may need is a 9-volt battery. Thanks Preston.

Preston came out and was able to diagnose and repair our leak. There was a serious leak behind the washer - a pipe broke behind the wall. The leak had been running for a few weeks, and had created a hole in the dirt under the foundation. Preston was able to repair the leak in less than 4 hours. He was incredibly careful, and only a small portion of the tile floor (less than 9"x9") was jackhammered. He also only made a hole large enough in the wall to do what needed done. He filled in the hole, did the cement and drywall replacement, and cleaned everything up. Very kind, genuine person. I highly recommend this company and esp. Preston. OH! and this happened on the weekend. The service was more, but well worth the price.

We had an older A/C compressor give out. Called around the city and most companies weren't able to schedule for even just the initial diagnostic for over a week out. These guys were available within a couple days and the AC was able to be installed just a week later. This is a busy season for HVAC peeps, I get it. Staffing shortages doesn't help. But man... It's HOT. We need AC or else it becomes a health concern very quickly. Literally everyone we dealt with was courteous and professional. On time, great communication, respectful of our property. They were in good spirits, laughed with us, and totally got the job DONE. 100% recommend and will be using them in the future for any other needs we have.

Knowledgeable and friendly, Donovan performed the troubleshooting process efficiently and knew exactly where to look to repair our water well pump control system. He did not mind me hanging over his shoulder and answered all questions about the issue. The perfect technician for the inquisitive homeowner! Oh, and a 1 hr response time on a Saturday morning? Unheard of! Thanks again guys! But wait...there's more! When it comes to electrical issues, true to form, when you fix one, another 1 pops up: 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon when it happened and donovan came back within 30 minutes! Found the problem and solved it and now we have water through the weekend! Now that is some service!

We have called Day and Night Plumbing a number of times for issues in our laundry room and kitchen last summer. Every time, they've been punctual, consistent in quality and service and for us, price fairly. I highly recommend them! They go the extra mile by answering all questions and offering suggestions to avoid the same problem in the future. Recently, in early May, we needed our Swamp Cooler replaced and they delivered the same level of service, professionalism and affordability we were expecting from our past experiences! Our Swamp Cooler runs great, its quite and keeps the house super cool!! Give them a try! You won't be disappointed!

My tenants text me saying the water heater was leaking and the pilot light wouldn’t stay on. These company was recommended by a friend and I was pleased to find out that they were available to come out the same day. They showed up at the assigned time and by the time I got there (traffic delayed me) the technicians, Saul and Reuben had already evaluated the heater. They determined that it was still under warranty and called the place and found out they could have one by the end of the week. This brought me great comfort knowing it’ll lessen the pain of the expense and there explanation of what was going on solidified my confidence in them.

I would highly recommend Day & night plumbing. Marcos Mendoza, and his crew, came and evaluated the problems I was having with my sewer pipes, and they found that the sewer pipes were very old and crumbling. They replaced the sewer pipes, and now they work great. A small water leak was also found in the yard sprinkler pipe. They fixed that as well. None of the work was done until it was explained to me, and how much it would cost. Marcos was very knowledgeable, honest, and professional. I felt that they really cared for me as a customer, and wanted to do a good job for me. Which they did.

I had a $22,000 mini split installed a year ago. It has been nothing but a headache. Leaking through my roof, the heads don’t cool and they leak water. The condensers are loud and were never leveled. There are bubbles in the lines and the list goes on. They do as little as possible to repair things and when I called to have them come out today I was refused service because it’s been a year and they won’t work on my system. HORRIBLE SERVICE! On the install they promised to remove the old furnace and they back peddled on that too. They take your money and run!

I spent several weeks getting estimates and talking to plumbers. The estimates were as high as $1,600.00 to install a shutoff valve and a frost proof faucet in an exposed block wall. Most wanted to convert to PEC instead of simply using copper on the copper pipe. Preston listened to what I wanted and did just that. They were less than a 1/3 of the highest estimate and about 1/2 of the next closest. Do yourself a favor and just call these guys, I wasted several weeks and hours on the phone until I talked to them. Great job, great price, what's not to love.

Great experience with Day and Night Plumbing, easy to book the service and the agent was very professional to explain all the price and time options. The service tech arrive on time and he did a great job! Find the problem in a very short time (capacitor on the outside fan unit) and fix the issue quickly. At the end he explained all the job performed, which was the issue and they send me the email with all the picture and the receipts online. The price is affordable compare to other similar business. After a pool demolition that resulted in our main water line and sewer line being broken several times and temporarily repaired by the excavation and landscape companies that broke it, I called Day and Night for a permanent fix by licensed plumbers before such lines were buried. I called in the morning and the work got done expertly THAT AFTERNOON! Day and Night has been our go to plumbers for over 5 years for simple and complex jobs. Every time I call, I get a great result. Ask for Troy or Eric. When you buy good, you have good!

Day & Night Plumbing just left my house after fixing the ventilation where my heater is. Now, I have had 2 other companies come by and give me an estimate. I was not sure what the problem was. One said it would cost up to $2500.00 to fix the damper as he would have to take the entire unit out and the other even higher. They never even looked at what the real problem was. I am so happy that my mom listens to talk radio and said that they had really good reviews and were honest. $400.00 for total fix. I will be a customer for life!

In the end we didn't end up using their services, but this is the ONLY plumber I will be calling in the future. Their front desk scheduler was great, quick and responsive each time I called to update them on the leak in our laundry room. In the end, we were able to get someone else from our home warranty out quicker, but this company was still top notch in their customer support and thinking of solutions. EXACTLY the kind of people you want working on your home when you have a major plumbing leak. Thanks, Day & Night!

I cannot say enough good things about everyone I’ve dealt with that this company. I had a disaster day and Mike and Kyle were exceptional both for the repair and also for the insulation install. Most recently I met Antonio, quick, efficient, and very personable. Another person who is fantastic at this company is Shawnase, she’s always patient and wonderful to talk to even when I’ve called a dozen times. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Highly recommend them and thank you so much for all the help.

I called to make an appointment, and the young lady said she would need to call me back. She called me, she was very pleasant and she said she spoke to what I assumed was the owner, and then said she was going to have to call me back to make an appointment because she needed to check the schedule. And here we are, almost a week later, and she has not called me back. Which is very sad, because the person that recommended them, raved about their business. I guess they don't want or need my business.

Day N Night plumbing came through for me on an outdoor faucet I'd had trouble fixing myself. "Pepe" came through and was amazing. He helped me detect a leak from my dishwasher as well. Pepe has a sharp eye and noticed that some piping nipples were corroded on my water heater and also fixed those. Saved me a whole nightmare on what could've happened. He was very professional and super sharp with what he was doing. Couldn't have asked for better service with all the extras I asked him to do.

Had a problem with my furnace firing up this year. Was able to call and get a fast appointment that suited my availability. I received a call and a text on day of service from Jonathan letting me know when he would arrive. He was quickly able to sort out the problem then checked and double checked it was working properly. I would recommend this company to friends and family alike. Will for sure call them again for any other jobs that come in my home.

I am a Realtor and use Day & Night Plumbing regularly. Pepe came out today to bring my seller's water heater up to code and he was Amazing! He explained what needed to be done, worked efficiently to accomplish the task, reviewed the work with me upon completion and was smiling the entire time. And the charges were very reasonable! The office staff and owners are always helpful and schedule my jobs in as quickly as needed.

I called afterhours and they were able to help within the hour. The gentleman who came was very nice and efficient. He was able to diagnose the problem and told me the office would call in the morning to add us to the schedule as our water was not running. It is two days later and have not yet received a call for the follow-up appointment. The only communication I have received is the invoice for the afterhours service

I've had 5 different plumbing agencies out for an estimate on a water heater Day and Night are the only ones that didn't try and sell an HVAC system or tell me my entire house needed to be repiped to the tune of $25k minimum. They completed the work in a badly out of code house and were true to their estimate despite the challenges an older house provides. They are very professional and I highly recommend them.

I had a sink install that included a garbage disposal I provided. The sink was a large barn type sink. The thickness of the sink did not allow for the use of the disposal mounting hardware. Preston, the technician quickly took action and found the only hardware in town that would work. He quickly installed all parts. The end product was an effective use of space under the sink and a very satisfied customer.

This is the 2nd time we used Day & Night Plumbing. Both times they have been amazing. The first time they came in after we paid a different plumbing company to fix a clog that they charged us for, but could not fix after 2 visits. Day & Night came and cleared the job at a very reasonable cost. This time another clog and they got scheduled quickly and fixed the clog. They are so reliable and trustworthy.

Brent arrived a half hour before my scheduled window. Answered my questions, and performed a thorough check on my AC system. Very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Save your money and do not call this company. They WILL tell you that the have to look at the job to provide and estimate, what they won’t tell you is that you will be charged $130 for them just to look at the job. Second, they Will spend the hole time trying to upsell you on parts and upgrades and will absolutely lie to you about what needs to be replaced. Don’t waist your time.

Bobby arrived promptly to install a water softener and an outside faucet. We had excellent communication prior to his arrival. His work was super clean and professional, and it shows that he takes pride in his work. We are very grateful to have found a plumber that we feel we can trust especially since we have been burned in the past! We are super happy overall with our services!

Preston and Chris came to service my hvac system. They were incredibly professional, friendly and efficient. In addition, I asked them to service my gas fireplaces and they did so without hesitation or complaint. They also commented about how they enjoy going the extra mile to provide top customer service. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with Rebecca who schedules and answers phones. She misquoted service dates multiple times and generally was extremely aggressive, rude and non professional. We have experienced this a handful of times at this point, so if you go with them make sure to speak with someone else to help you.

Had a late night emergency with our lines being backed up. A friendly voice answered the phone and got us on the schedule for that evening. A plumber was at our door in 45 minutes and had us taken care of within a half hour. We have used them for years and feel very thankful to have them “on our team” for projects and mishaps.

Ray was super helpful when he came to fix my sink. He was friendly and arrived quickly. I really appreciate how honest and friendly the guys that came out were. They even redid some of the plumbing that was installed incorrectly and didn’t charge me extra. I’ll definitely call them again next time I have a plumbing issue!

Tech came out did not have a clue what the issue was. After 2 hours of calling co-workers and not being able to isolate he left. Received a call from dispatch the next tech would be out. Paid 173.00 to find out a breaker was blown . The electrician came out and said the fan Motor flipped the breaker. Not happy

I had a plumbing emergency and these guy where great. They had a fast response time. The office staff was friendly and professional. The plumber they sent out Antonio was extremely knowledgeable and confident. He made me feel better about a awful situation. I would recommend these guys and use them again!

I had put off winterizing my swamp cooler and they were nice enough to come in on an emergency basis and get this done before the freeze takes hold tonight. I’ve been a steady customer, which helps, and they installed my unit last year, so they know it very well. Any way job done and done well!

Called for a gas fireplace inspection. They got me in the very next day and Jonathan was on time and very polite and knowledgeable. He figured out what was wrong and even helped me light the furnace pilot light on top of working on the gas fireplace. Will definitely use again!

Great company and service! Mike and Luis found a leak coming from upstairs tub and did the necessary repairs. It was a pleasure to do business with both men who were courteous and congenial and did a great job at the clean up. Will definitely do business with them again.

The company recently sold. If you don't get one of the original plumbers/techs be ready for an unprofessional lazy person to show up and do practically nothing while trying to get you to schedule additional work. Unfortunately I will never call them again for service.

My on demand hot water heater was leaking at the connection sites. It appears the original installers (a different company) didn't bother with taping the fittings! So it was only a matter of time before it began leaking! Got me all fixed up for a fair price!

They charged me $400 and did not fix my clog they also broke my toilet. I asked if they would replace my toilet they said they are not liable for damages. Save yourself the trouble and do not hire this company.
