I had to give this place a star in order to post a review. Otherwise it would have received 0 stars. What a joke of a company. March 2018 I went to Dealership Direct and bought a VW Golf. I spoke to Michael their finance manager who told me he would give me a fantastic deal and we agreed on a price. He also agreed that the car would be detailed & a dent would be removed before I came to collect it on the Tuesday coming. On Tuesday, excited to pick up my new car, I receive a call from Michael advising that the man to fix the dent would not be able to come until Wednesday morning & therefore there was a delay in dropping off the car. He offered to drop the car at my office on Wednesday and we arranged midday as a time. On the Wednesday Michael calls me to tell me he's on his way to my office. THEN, he asks me, in my lunch break at work to drop him back at Scoresby after he drops off the car. I told him I absolutely would not do that, and he tried to negotiate a time later in the day for me to drop him off. Absolutely not. When he arrives later in the day he made a jab at me for not dropping him off, complaining that he had to take a taxi. When the car was dropped off the dent had not been removed (so why the delay???) and the car had not been detailed. To make matters worse the price of the car was more than we had agreed on the Saturday. When I brought this up Michael kept telling me I was still getting a good price - SO WHAT? It's not what we agreed. I took the car and signed the paperwork as I could not wait any longer for the car. The next day Andrew called me, the business owner, to ask why I was an uphappy customer. I explained the situation & he agreed that he would refund me $130 for the cost of the detailing & the dent removal (pffft), however he refused to reduce the price to what we discussed. I took the $130 and he asked me NOT to leave a bad review online. I decided I wouldn't leave a bad review & would give him the benefit of the doubt. THEN, a few weeks later I received a fine in the mail for EASTLINK on the DAY Michael dropped the car off to me. I emailed Andrew to advise & make a formal complaint. Not even a response. I will now nominate them to pay the fine. If someone knows their ABN PLEASE let me know. I can't find it online - which screams DODGY. I have been asked several times by family & friends if I would recommend Dealership Direct and my response is ABSOLUTELY NOT. AVOID THIS PLACE.

DO NOT TRUST THEM I bought Kia Sorento GT line in September 2020 from Dealership Direct during the Covid-19 process. There were 4 issues with the car: 1. dent on the paint 2.scratch on the wheel 3. major a tains on the leather car seat 4. no cleaning I told Andrew I will agree to buy the car ONLY if these issues get fixed. Andrew said he couldn’t fix them because of Covid-19 restrictions as the workshop was closed. But he promised in WRITING to do the repair work once the restrictions will be eased. Therefore I agreed to buy the car, it was a BIG mistake. When Covid restrictions were eased in November 2020,I called Jemma MANY MANY time to get these issues fixed. At first, they just ignored my call And text message, they were always busy and not calling back. But I persisted and after a while they ended up answering the phone. I spent so MUCH time following up, I was not a priority customer anymore. I finally got an appointment to get these issues sorted out. I took a day off from work to go to the appointment and it was a pure waste of time. - dent on the paint : they told me they tried to repair the dent but it was still visible and they told me it was the best they could do. To get a perfect result, they would have to repaint the whole car and it was not reasonnable. - scratch on the wheel: they told me that it was not repairable, the workman proposed a way to repair it but the result will be “worse” than what it was, so it is my “choice”. Lol. - stain on the car seat: they told me it will be removed by their car detailer. But they said they will Arrange an appointment for me after lunch and I never got contacted. I have been waiting around the dealership the afternoon for no one called me back. I tried to follow up several time (call, email, text messages) but no luck. So I decided to bring the car to a car detailer myself at my own expense ($400). The stain never got removed, they told me it is not possible to clean. Game over. There is nothing more I can do, except Writing this Google review to notify potential buyers. Summary. I regret buying a car with this dealership. They are not honouring their promises and commitments. If you are considering buying a car with this dealership and you have any issues, don’t expect anything from them, they will never answer the phone and you will be on your own.

This was the worst 'buying a car' experience I've ever had. I live in interstate and took the following Friday off work to receive delivery of vehicle which never arrived. I then had to meet delivery driver at 0630 Monday morning in the rain to collect the car which arrived with no paperwork. I then had to chase up the dealer for a permit, roadworthy and receipt of purchase which took a further two days because the sales team was incompetent at their job. Upon receiving the documentation, I find I'd been overcharged by $966 for stamp duty. A financial error that I picked up myself, not their financial or customer service team. I finally go to drive the car and the battery was dead. Called NRMA roadside assistance who advised me the battery needed replacing. Called Dealership Direct several times and got nowhere before getting put through to Andrew to discuss reimbursement of the stamp duty overpayment and the cost of a new battery since he sold me a car that I couldn't start. His reaction was: 'Sorry a battery isn't covered under warranty'. You literally sold me a car that doesn't start! Despite taking out the 5 year extended warranty, you don't sell a customer a car and then tell them 'go down the road and buy yourself a new battery'. You sell a vehicle that drives! He said out of good will he will cover $50 of the replacement battery cost. Then came the saga of trying to get refunded the $1016 they now owed me. I called at least 20 times, during business hours, and kept getting screened. I texted, left voice mails and emailed without a response. This went on for 2 weeks. I was literally chasing them to get my refund. Finally I lodged a complaint with the motor vehicle ombudsman for their lousy customer service and treatment I'd received. This company is the most unprofessional dealership I've ever purchased a vehicle through. You'll be lucky if they return your phone call, or take your phone call for that matter. Their business and customer service model is an absolute joke. I don't advise anyone to purchase a car from them locally or interstate. Save yourself the headache and out of pocket expenses this company will cost you. I also advise you read the reviews left by the many other disappointed customers due to Dealership Directs appalling lack of customer service.

Not happy with Frank at dealership direct. Purchased a 2011 Skoda Octavia for $8000 with driver's side window not winding up/down fully. Frank assured that it will be fixed under the stat warranty. So I paid full in cash and took delivery of the car. But then unpleasant things started to dawn on me. Few days later Frank told me to come down and bring the car to get it checked at a workshop (called One Stop Brake). I took half a day off work and did so. He then informed me the part needed to be replaced and I had to wait for his call. The call never came and I had to pursue him to no avail (always out of office with a customer, secretary/admin picked up and I left a message but Frank didn't return my emails/calls). I had enough so I called the workshop directly (One Stop Brake) to get clarifications directly. To my absolute shock, the workshop said they only do mechanical repairs and CAN NOT do any auto electrical repair (which my window issue was). The workshop guy even mentioned that he had already told Frank about it! To add onto my already boiling frustrations, Frank then apologized and proceed to direct me to bring the car to Rowville Auto Electrics (RAE). After doing so, RAE identified that the window regulator needed to be replaced. BUT then Dealership Direct refused to have RAE fix my car because apparently RAE isn't part of their affiliated vendor? SO WTH did Frank even told me to bring my car there in the first place?? Total F$@# waste of my time. The manager (or owner?) Andrew did not offer much help at all. Saying that the repair was gonna cost $1000, then proceeded to water down the issue by saying I bought such an old car and wear and tear was to be expected as such. LOOK, if only Frank did not over promise and offered me a load of bull, I'd probably be OK with buying the car with a $500 discount and I could use that money to fix the window myself. I am hoping Andrew to pursue a gentleman like attitude and professionalism to refund me $500 to compensate for my few days of lost time and thus potential income. After which I shall remove this transparent, negative review as token of mutually agreed resolution being resolved

I've never left a bad review on google but this needs to be known to all potential customers. After inquiring about a car on carsales I had a quick phone call response which was great. I was offered free car delivery within 2 hours of the dealership, we organised a pre purchase inspection through the dealership and paid the dealership directly to pay the company to inspect. This was all good and agreed on. New tyres were needed which i was told on the phone it was getting. From this point it all went down hill, Firstly the car advertised odometer didn't match what the inspection came back as 3,000kms over. Getting in contact with the dealership was extremely difficult - I left voicemails, texts & emails. I was lucky to get a response every few days via a text. (this seemed to be the best way to contact them) I received a roadworthy cert which all checked out so I wanted to proceed with the sale, I was told papers will be sent that day, nothing came through. I was asked when do I want to pick up the car, I let them know i was told it could be delivered for free and my location. No reply. I followed up again a few days later with a text asking where the papers were and confirmation of delivery. I was told they would book it in for delivery tomorrow but the text then read that they couldn't as there is restrictions in place I had to wait until lockdown ends or have it trucked. I completely understand restrictions are in place but I was given false information on a free home delivery from the beginning. I waited a couple more days for the papers to come through and nothing was sent. So I followed up with another text about the free delivery. Then no reply, and still no reply. I received a notification from carsales to say the car I had on hold is now gone up $4000 in price. Honestly save your time and money, do your research and check reviews before dealing with this company. There is lots of negative experiences.

Highly recommended ,very helpful an Easy process with any question I had was answered asap Andrew was more then amazing helped me straight away with a few things that I didnt like on my car. I live 1hr 50 mins away and I work early till late, so it was a relief that andrew was so easy going wasn't stressed when i got there late because of traffic on my day off. Then when my partner dropped our car off later in the week for some minor scratches I wanted fixed I was at work, so my partner drove alone with no lift back. Jemma and Andrew organised that she could take another car back home and we picked our car up the very next day! you can't get any better service then that! I don't usually do reviews but iv seen some bad ones on here that don't reflect the way i was treated at all and what kind of people Andrew and the team are. Other people may have had different experiences but we are human and people make mistakes so give andrew and the team a fair go . Will definitely go threw these guys again and already told my family and friends the same Thanks heaps Andrew From Jarrad and Kiyah

We purchased a Subaru forester from Jaide she sent me a full video of the vehicle and we then went ahead with the transaction . Living in Adelaide and we could not go to Melbourne for the pick up Jaide again came to the rescue and had the vehicle delivered by a major freight company to Adelaide , All paper work was done within 2 hours of the initial phone call Dealership direct saved us a lot of money compared to what we could purchase in Adelaide so it was the best phone call I have made in a long time now we have had the vehicle for two months now and the vehicle is just flawless it was as described and via video. vehicle is still under new car warranty and service history was again as described. The vehicle presentation was excellent. thinking outside the Adelaide square was we'll worth it so thanks again Jaide and dealership direct we have a great car at a great price with also a happy giant schnauzer who fits in the back cheers again from tom and iz

Don't waste your time or money people!!! Bought an Amarok off Andrew at the start of the year, was reassured that the car had full service history and the booklet was currently in transit, as they purchased the car in NSW. This was not the case, and was never the case, as the previous owner had lost the booklet all together (information I discovered myself). Once I had paid for the car in full, I found it extremely difficult to get a call back or any information from anyone in their office during business hours. Worst customer service ever!! Months later and they have offered me nothing in compensation for my loss, I paid a premium price for a ute which I factored in having full service history. And to be honest, I wouldn't have purchased it if I knew this from the get go. Dealers Direct couldn't even manage to send me a new empty service booklet, which they promised me months ago. Seriously guys it's not worth the trouble.

I bought a VW Tiguan at Dealership Direct on 6th Aug. When I paid bond Andrew said he will get done for my car. But a week later when I pick up the car on Monday. Wheel cab is still missing. I tried call andrew after tuesday.He never answer my phone and reply message. Please don't buy the car from here! 12th Aug 2018 Update I just received Andrew call, He threat me that he will sue me if I don't change the 1 star view. I call his office on Thursday and Friday, The person who answer my phone said Andrew will give me a call back, but he give me a call after I gave one star review. On the phone he said he got a day-off on Tuesday, but for Thursday and Friday, Andrew still didn't give me a call back. He just mentioned about the wheel cap I need to go to service centre to get it by my self. So I will never change this one star. I'm waiting Andrew to sue me because of this review!

This company has done it again! I was wanting a lesser car than Dealership Direct normally handle asked Andrew if he could help. We needed a car to pull our boat on and off the ramp!(flash or what) He had just the car. Dispite being in our 70s I want to teach my wife to waterski and this car was ideal to fo the job. We bought it over the phone and dispite it having a few ks on the clock (the car not my wife!!) It was perfectly presented. Having got it home 3 hours away we didcovered a few issues which wouldnt be cheap but Andrew's response was imediate bring it in weel fix it straight away and true to his word he did. Every time we buy through this company we get good honest service something which is sadly missing in society today. Well done Dealership direct. My experience with this company isn't good in October 2018 I purchased a Jeep grand Cherokee Laredo paid $23000 for this car I rang them saying there was a noise when I first start the car up in the morning they sent it to there mechanic who had the car overnight he stated he couldn't hear any noise then I took my car for a major service through a Jeep dealership who also had my car overnight and found the noise to be a Idler Pully and Tension Pully And now have contacted this company to have the car fixed under statutory warranty which is going to cost dealership direct $446 at trade price and they are insisting I take the car back to their mechanic who stated he couldn't hear the noise why should I have to when they have been told it will cost $446 and I paid $23000 for this car

Bought a great car from this place, sales girl was very helpful, when i mentioned that I was getting finance through my own bank they told me they would be able to do a lot better for me, after sending mountains of information to them and getting lots of promises they could not come up with any finance, they then put me in touch with Essendon Finance who could do finance, at the great rate of 28% I declined that offer and ended up paying cash, I have since walked into my bank and got a loan to replace the cash in 20 minutes. Make sure you don't need a loan before you go to this dealer. Just organise your own finance if needed.

Our son bought a 2008 Nissan Patrol of dealership direct. A few days later we noticed an item that we believed should not have passed thru roadworthy. we called Andrew Buruma who was very dissapointed that the vehicle had passed that way. within a few hours he had organised to pick vehicle up and repaired asap. vehicle went thru new roadworthy and all good. we couldnt be more happier with the response etc we received from Andrew and his whole family in the business. we were very overwelmed by the experience so close to christmas,. would we go back to Andrew and his team?? in a heartbeat, wouldnt even have to think about it.

Keep in mind what Consumer Affair Vic says about buying a used car: Before you buy a used car, consider having it inspected by: the RACV's independent vehicle inspection service a Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC) member, or an independent qualified mechanic. If a licensed trader or private seller does not agree to this, consider not buying the car. If it is not possible to arrange an inspection when buying from a licensed trader, ensure your contract states: "the sale is conditional on the purchaser's satisfaction with an independent inspection report." I wish I had read this before buying. All the best.

If you are interstate and you searching for a vehicle please do not go through these guys. I was in the process of purchasing a vehicle with everything being finalised today, was told not to pay a deposit, this was confirmed in writing than was told by the GM that someone locally placed a deposit on the vehicle and sold it without communicating with me. Had my heart set on the vehicle for it only to stripped away and the only thing I got from them was I'm sorry and that was it. Business ethics and consumer rights out the window. Disgraceful also was told that this scenario happens often, awesome business management.

Had a car inspection booked after stating I had every intention of buying if it was all okay and I would make the trip there which they were aware of. Drove two and a half hours with an 11 day old to be told they had just sold it. They care more about a sale than their customers, usually a good sign they don't care about screwing you over or lieing to you about more serious matters with a car. Sales guy (possibly owner) seemed like your typical car salesman, couldn't muster even the slightest bit of emotion or care.

Brought a second hand car that was leaking water on the first day. Came with a dodgy roadworthy. I put it in for a roadworthy inspection 2 days after I brouit and it failed up to 7 things. It also needs a new head gasket all with in 2 weeks. Left msg with proof and emails and only got told they can do a quote to fix it from there machanic lol. This was all after the salesman said it was in excellent condition motor wise. Thanks for .making. me not to be able to work my business for 4 weeks.

When I walked in and bought our mu-x I was very impressed with the service and attention we received. A test drive was organised super quick and a fair deal made on my trade in. 100% impressed. Then today as I write this review an added extra showed up. The extra key. Andrew has said he would chase this up for us from the previous owner and I had long forgotten. But he hadn’t and sent it to my home address. Thanks guys. Very happy customer and car still going fantastically.

Tried calling a few times (business hours) and never an answer. So I drove from Ascot Vale out to Scoresby on Monday morning because their web page said "OPEN". No one there. At 10:30am Never got to see anyone or see a single car. Just peeved that I drove out their based on their information stating they were open. Im not sure of your situation as a business owner but it seems poor to have an open sign that you really don't know how to use! Open or closed. Pretty simple!!

The finance was a smooth easy process.Trading my old car was a dream also. They were all very up front and honest not like a traditional dealership These guys do try there very best to give you the best customer service. We can only speak of our experience with this place. They so waisted our time! It started with a phone conversation by them assuring a clean and an accident free car, so we took their word and drove 55min to inspect the car. What we saw was a car that's been in an accident and not repaired properly. And their reply was ohh I don't know. Don't bother calling because you will get a false description of the vehicle.

After getting off to a rocky start with a sales person, the Manager Andrew stepped in and proved his very ethical business practices and finalised my purchase of a Mazda BT50. Immediately after there was an issue with the battery and Andrew attended to same in a very professional manner. the vehicle has not missed a beat since. This Company appears to be a very solid business with old fashioned integrity.

Unprofessional. Expect to be treated like dirt when you have warranty issue, rather than working with you they just blast you with yelling and exclamation and expect to leave you without a car during a crisis. First screenshot below is the email I sent to this mob and the second screenshot is the email they replied. It's sad, really. They could do a lot better in the support and customer care dept.

One Star is generous. Dealing with a sales rep under name of Andrew hope he had learns manners. Will for sure never approach them hope they loose all clients due to poor costumer service. Wish you all the best in future endeavors. Unfortunately there is no institution to formally lodge a complaint. Just for asking a small 330$ discount got hang up phone and screamed. Truly useless guy.

Got a very good service and an excellent car from them. The sales girls had good knowledge about the cars being sold. The buying process was smooth. The only thing I noticed was confusion when they are dealing multiple customers. I got to deal 3 sales ppl for the same car within 15 minutes. But I don't mind that after a happy purchase. Would come back for business purchase again.

This place would have to be the best car dealers I've been through. I didn't feel pushed to purchase a car when browsing which is a nice change. Andrew was extremely helpful and very friendly, also has a strong resemblance to Johnny Farnham Big thanks to Jemma for bringing my car out to me also. But we also had the service book that was with the vehicle missing when we took delivery? Also told there would be a full tank of fuel ! But of course there wasn't.. Really disappointed after an initial good trade in experience. Wheel lock nuts had been tightened to a negligent level . No response from Leesa followed by an angry phone call from Andrew and a promise to look at my email photos & call back . Now no response despite 4 email follow ups. No attempt to rectify their error & no customer service. I would not recommend .

Had arranged with jemmah to view car Saturday am. Had discussed price and been given a value for trade in. Drove an hour to get there to find it had been sold the day prior. I understand this can happen, however a simple phone call to save our time and effort and disappointment would have been a simple courtesy. Would never consider buying from them.

Just spoke to someone there enquiring re Jeep, very rude after I said that I'll pass on the car as I wanted to see today the car and that I will make it just before closing, it says they open to 4.30pm but she said that they close door at 4pm. Not a suitable place to exchange vehicles. Their estimates are very lower for a vehicle when they buy. Loose lots of money in a exchange. bought a car from these people never in my life time would i do it again, the car had a leak from the rear main seal and they refused to fix it saying the car basically has done a few klm's so a few leaks are expected these people are everything people warn you about used car dealers
