Ordered from Del Forno Bryanston, three times over Uber Eats and every time it has been sup par, not very tasty compared to their Parkmore branch. This last time was beyond inedible and so I called them. Was offered nothing except an email to head office, if you are told that the food your served is inedible how then can you not rectify it by even a simple offer of a margarita pizza. The disloyalty that was thrown at me today has put me off so much that I will never order or even set foot into another Del Forno ever again, speaking as a long term customer of Sunninghill branch and since day 1 a loyal customer to the Parkmore branch which is by far the best, most generous, polite and loyal staff. Not only was the pizza dried out AND burnt, so was the pasta, two meals inedible and you chose to blame Uber Eats over rectifying a paid customer's order. Terrible food and terrible business. Contacting your head office was even worse, getting multiple emails deferring me to multiple employees. Calls have now been placed and emails to the CFO.

A lovely venue... And with all the right ingredients a perfect place to enjoy the towns atmosphere when you're lucky.

Slow service. Only one can of coke zero left. The restaurant is located next door to Checkers - why didn't someone pop over to get a second can? Having placed our order, we waited for 20 minutes before the waitress came to apologize and tell us that the chef had gone to lunch (!). The food eventually arrived, and I was served possibly the worst Ceasar salad I have ever had: the chicken was dry as sandpaper, the croutons had been deep fried in old oil, and a poached egg was chucked on the plate like an afterthought. At least it was edible, together with the sad lettuce leaves at the bottom. We won't be coming back.

Del Forno, Bryanston is a firm favourite with us. A great menu with fantastic specials for breakfast and lunch. For date night, they've come up with combos for very well priced dinners. The breakfast in the photos cost just R49 and includes a cup of coffee. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. A family run business that is concerned about the customer experience. Ever since I experienced the excellent service and food quality I have become a frequent customer. The staff are competent, considerate and kind. The owner herself is a star and she is so accommodating and makes you feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. The food is just excellent and you get value for your money. In fact, you even get more than what you expect! I can definitely recommend them, they get 5 stars all around.

First time there, it took an incredibly long time for what I presumed to be a simple order, and the order was made incorrectly. Second time there, there was a hair in my Frozen Lemonade. Third time there, a hair in my mince, AND in my drink! Thought I’d give it another try but after having hair in my food twice and (understandably) having my appetite ruined, family and I have decided to never visit Del Forno branches again.

The lettuce in the Greek salad looked old, so I ate very little of it. The fillet steak wasn't nice, as it was tough. The mango juice was the only pleasant item I had for lunch. There were only two people in the restaurant and I certainly will never eat there again.

Got our menus, service, condiments and food after the white customers. The waitresses were rude and we were ultimately served by three different people, two of which could have cared less about us. The last waitress was very nice, Vanessa, but the overall service was terrible. Would not recommend.

Unbelievable value for money, the R55 breakfast special is possibly the best breakfast I’ve found in Johannesburg, lunch specials are great too! The owner manager is always on site and the staff are friendly and helpful, so happy to have found this little gem in Bryanston!

Sadly dissappointed. Delivery ( Uber eats) took an hour and a half and food was delivered cold. We were informed via the app that the food was held up at the restaurant and then the driver still did another delivery en route. Pizzas good but won't be ordering from Bryanston for delivery again.

Terrible Service . Waited over 30 min for an order of 2 eggs and toast which eventually canceled . Couple that arrived long after our order placed received their order 10 min after seated. First grande cappuccino served luke warm, ordered a second one requested served hot hence 2 stars. No explanation regarding long wait for eggs and toast.

My family and I had a very special treat at Del Fornos in Bryanston on Friday. It was my dad's 88th birthday lunch, the food was great but what made it so special was the service that we received. Will definitely add this to my list to come again. Thank you

Small restaurant with a small kitchen. Consider that if you're in a hurry and they are busy. However, the food is really good, the coffee is awesome and the staff are friendly and try really hard.
