I came in at 10 am thinking that since they open at 9am they probably won't be late. Nope. Waited for 30 min again. No one ever says sorry for making you wait. The person doing the X-rays was 23 yrs old (I asked him) and had no idea how to use the machine. Last year I came here there was another very young and untrained person doing the X-rays. That person messed up the Xrays because she didn't know how to use the machine. So she took them again. Messed it up a SECOND TIME and said "oops I have to do it again". I said "you think I am going to get radiated over and over because you are clueless?". And I asked for someone who knows what they are doing to take over. I thought that was a fluke so I kept coming here but today once again they have a clueless 23 yr old giving people Xrays. That same 23 yr old polished my teeth. Barely knew how to use the polisher and someone else had to help him. He was dropping huge chunks of polish paste in my mouth. I understand people need to start young, but this is ridiculous. They obviously need more training. I am done with this place.

Omg someone should put attention to this place or close it because the staff is always with attitude not professionals they put you on hold for as long as they want you can call 7 or more times and when you ask about the dentist if they are good or they are practicing they will say there are all good but the truth is that they really don’t know enough about them and when it comes to the appointment had 2 times I had horrible experiences either they’re are not dental expert or they are practicing few friends trying to do something about it but no one attending at the complainants we try to talk with doctor pharbes or farces excuse if the last name is spelled wrong we think he is one of the owners we know he had been busy or out of town but he is always good at what he does as a dentist please someone out there put more effort to go check this place and put new staff with professionals skills and respect the people who need services we should call for help because this place should be closed if no authority will do something about it

i have been waiting 2 months to get approve from county care for a deep clean i have called the dentist office multiple times between then a now and even set up my appointment for the deep clean even if i had to pay myself. well called county care today they have no record of pre authorization. after talking to the dentist office-one they never scheduled my appointment for tomorrow like they said two weeks ago. also never sent the authorization request because they where waiting on missing information from the dentist FOR 2 MONTHS. which the 5 times i have called no one fixed anything. its irritating because my insurance relapses at the end of the month. DON'T GO TO IRVING PARK FAMILY DENTISTRY . was definitely getting the run around I'm assuming due to the amount of build up the dentist was avoiding doing the deep clean. I have extreme anxiety so going to the dentist was a big step for me and this experience has been awful. the only good thing is every person at the front desk that answered all my calls were wonderful.

The reception team at this office is so unprofessional. Not only do they not schedule accordingly they lie and have a horrible attitude. They scheduled my 17 year old sister for an appointment at 11:30am she was in the office since 11:05am, 11:30am hits & they are taking another woman before her. Here comes 12pm & they are barely calling my sisters name. Not to mention this is the 3rd time this happens. When I brought the issue to Orthodontist receptionist cinthia’s attention not only did she immediately gives an attitude stating the doctor was in lunch which is why she has to wait & had patients to attend before my sister. When I spoke to the doctor she said they are actually working through lunch (so who’s lying). And why would they schedule an appointment during doctors lunch? The receptionist is supposed to fix and or try to work with patients issues not immediately give an attitude & send them off to the doctor.

Horrible experience! I got there at 12 for my appointment. The assistant took me to get x rays at 12:20 still Waited to get seen. At 1240 I decided to leave. I waited 40 mins just so I wouldn't be seen. And there wasn't any sign I was going to be seen for the next 20 to 30 mins. I guess they over booked appointments with low staff. Unfortunately I have to give them one star if I could I would have gave then 0 still didn't get my problem fixed. Witch I think its unfair. If I make my appointment at 12 I should have to wait till 1240 or 1pm to be seen it's ridiculous. Also someone could have came to let us know what's going on or why they're taking so long but instead I decided to leave because I wasn't going to be seen. Now I gave to go home in pain. This isn't new with the place really need to find a better dentist

Worst place you can go to. The front staff and dental technicians are unethical, and they are lost. They force you to get X-rays to milk your insurance, even if it is unnecessary. They talked about me and others in Spanish but failed to recognize that I am fully bilingual. The Caucasian female dentist was full of it and lied about the unsanitary claim. I was discussing a malpractice that caused me an infection with her to the point that another dentist didn't want to see me and referred me back to them. I never experienced so much pain. As a Dental Student, I was once, I will not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Ensure your claims are accurate with your insurance provider since they like to milk your benefits with all kinds of X-rays. Be extremely careful with your loved ones, especially kids and seniors.

0/5 stars. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. This office will inconvenience you, lie, and show no remorse. Had an appointment for 11AM and was told my appointment was cancelled once I arrived. The receptionist lied saying they called to inform which was a lie. She claims they called an older number I had. How did you have the right number to remind me of my appointment but not the right one to tell me it had been cancelled. This is the 3rd time they have waited until I arrived to tell me my appointment was cancelled. The blatant lie because they knew they screwed up AGAIN and the lack of empathy received ruins any good the ACTUAL dentist may be. I have worked as a patient care coordinator over 10 years and would never treat patients this way.

Had a wonderful experience at this location! Dr. Sara Khan was knowledgeable, kind and skillful with the work I was having done. The staff was welcoming, professional and the facility was clean and organized. It was easy for me to schedule my appointment and they were ready for me soon as I arrived. Dr. Sara Khan alleviated any anxiety I had and performed the procedure well with no pain. Her demeanor and bedside manner made me really comfortable and she explained everything she was doing before and during treatment. I’d recommend this location and especially Dr. Sara Khan to anyone looking to get dental work done as she will be my go-to provider going forward! You rock Dr. Sara Khan!!

Terrible experience. My appointment was at 9am and I sat in the room for an hour unaware that they were dealing with my insurance. They were trying to figure out how much my insurance would cover for procedures I didn’t come in for. I came for a basic cleaning and that was all I wanted. Regardless, if the doctor thinks I need more, that needs to be discussed with me. Completely unprofessional to have me wasting my time. This is why some businesses are successful and others are not. It all comes done to communication skills, which this facility lacks. Will be calling my insurance to switch providers

If I could rate them zero stars I would. I know thats dramatic but I’m being so serious. You can call early and they will put you on hold. No consistency. They let the phone ring or they will pick it up and hang up and when you come in they’re just sitting there talking. They will literally leave you on hold so they can talk. Then have the nerve to give you attitude when you’ve been calling to explain certain situations. Then they make you wait over an hour. So if you’re planning to do anything do not do it on the day you gotta come here. Or find another dentist because THEY DONT CARE!

I don’t know if they were understaff but I’m sure there was more staff & drs than people waiting, 2 hours of waiting for a clean up and I just got a X-ray got sat down thought they was gon do they job but then a Female in a Angel costume looked like Bambi handed me Prices about fill ins $45 and $95 for who knows what. I just came for clean up they told me assist me asap at @11am leaving the dentist @12:45 due to work didn’t get no clean up. Service was terrible you kept leaving the room with my words in my mouth. Unprofessional & Laggard

The whole family uses this dentist and i must say we've all tried many different places and this has to be the best one we've ever been to. Their work in my opinion is perfection, they accept many insurances (even medicaid) which is great and if you pay cash and have no insurance they do work with you. They also do what is needed (no price gouging and unneeded work).I've recommended them to others who also love their work. I recommend them 10 out of 10, i found my forever dentist lol.

Lily, the dental assistant was amazing! I have dental anxiety and she took the extra time to explain things to me and overall be very patient. Although she wasn't the doctor, she made me feel the most comfortable. Lily is knowledgable, patient, and very personable. She did not make me feel like I was annoying for being nervous or not knowing the full procedure. She did not speak condescendingly to me. I appreciate Lily and she made this visit very easy for me.

If you have an enemy please send them over because they will destroy other teeth in the process. I’m having to go to see a specialist to repair the damages that they have done. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. Zero customer service, dirty bathroom and they’ve worked on the wrong tooth. I can’t even give them a zero. I’ve also had 3 infections in my mouth due to their inability to fix the problem. My advice is to run away from this place!

I got referred to this dentist office from another dentist I’m not going to write a whole paragraph but this will be my Son first & last time here & if I ever need or anyone need dental I would NOT prefer them too this one. The lady at front desk has a REALLY BAD nasty attitude. This just goes to show me that they will Hire anybody without checking their background first! I will dig more too find out who can I speak with with this bad experience I had today!

Was 5 minutes early for my appointment, waited 45 minutes in the waiting room, then had to leave and reschedule my appointment. Staff was nice enough but I really appreciate a) a notice before the appointment that the dentist was running super far behind schedule, and b) info when making the appt. how long to expect. It’s really hard to plan for when the total time there could be anywhere from 1-3 hours.

Dr. Sara Khan is my doctor, and I’m really happy I found her. She was very down to earth and I didn’t feel like she was taking advantage. She really took the time to give all options, and I appreciated that. She was gentle! All the staff was friendly and efficient even though I could tell they were quite busy. Tania and Eva, up front checked me in fast, and explained my treatment plan very well.

Everyone at Irving Park Family Dental is AMAZING! I had two kids in braces from here and their teeth came out perfect! I’m currently on a treatment plan for myself and everything has gone flawlessly. Everyone is kind and courteous and show compassion with difficult situations. I would recommend them 1000 times over. Thank you for all of your dedication to your patients and beautiful work!

Bad front desk. Always need wait more then 45 minutes up. They keep said sometimes they can't finish patient on time because different case. But it was just "sometimes" it is all the time. They don't know how to manage times. They even said we are busy enough you can go other dental clinics. They are not worry about patient.

Had a great experience. Went for a broken cap. The staff made me feel at ease. Everyone was very friendly. The dentist was great. The procedure itself was pain-free. They explained everything well. From the procedure to the aftercare I felt confident in being in great hands. Will be returning for all my dental issues.

I took my braces off today and spent almost 2 hours at the dentist. I was kinda nervous coming in today but the dental assistant which is Lexany was friendly and welcoming individual. I felt comfortable talking to her and asking her questions. Also I appreciate the whole dental clinic. Recommend 10/10

For the second time in a row I went to Irving park family dental for a simple cleaning and was waiting over an hour for a scheduled appointment before I had to leave. Disappointing, because they are very close to where I live, but I will not be going back.

Took use 45 minutes to be seen and another 30 for doctor to come in to room. I was happy with the nurse, he was very kind and understanding. My daughter is autistic and he was very patient and show her everything he was doing before he did it.
