Doctor Montoya and his assistants in Cartagena are the most knowledgeable and highly skilled dentist and dental assistant I have ever had in my life. DR Montoya was extremely gentle and very comforting as he performed implant surgery to replace my two front upper teeth and repair and restore adjacent teeth. While his primary and excellent first language is Spanish , his command of English and speaking to me in English was very comforting and done in a very caring and knowledgeable manner. DR. Montoya will forever be my dentist and I will always visit him even though I live in the United States. Normalmente una visita al dentista no es una experiencia agradable. ¡Este no es el caso del Dr. Jairo Montoya! Vine a Cartagena para unas largas vacaciones. Decidí ver acerca de hacer algunos trabajos dentales. Investigué a 3 dentistas, los primeros 2 querían cobrar precios exorbitantes por un trabajo que no necesitaba. El Dr. Montoya tiene 30 años de experiencia y me dio una cotización muy razonable solo para lo que tenía que haber hecho. Tiene una gran oficina con el sillón dental con vista a la playa. Su personal fue muy cálido y amable, pero la mejor parte es el mismo Dr. Montoya, en 10 minutos sentí que encontré un nuevo amigo. Trabaja con suave eficiencia, asegurando siempre su comodidad. Su trabajo es absolutamente perfecto, lo llamé artista dental. Su asistente Katia trabaja muy profesionalmente. ¡Le di al Dr. Montoya 5 estrellas pero me hubiera gustado darle 10 estrellas!

I would highly recommend Dr. Jairo Montoya. I came from Philadelphia to Cartagena because I needed extensive work done. From root canals, extractions to crowns and implants, you name I probably needed it. I'm terrified of dentist since I was a little kid and he really made me feel comfortable enough to have all the work done. He explained everything thoroughly and patiently answered all the questions I had. He would also check on me after hours to make sure I was doing okay. Incredible service at a fraction of the cost of the US. The best dentist experience I've had in my life. Thank you so much for giving me my smile back.

We traveled to Cartagena from US. My brother and I knew we wanted to go to the dentist for a teeth cleaning over in Cartagena. We decided to go to this one because it was closest to us. The receptionist and the lady dentist treated us so kind. She took her time and her work was so dedicated. My teeth cleaning was 170,000 COP = around $39 USD. Please keep in mind this may change at the time of your visit. This is what I was charged for 1 person on 1/17/23. But I 100% recommend. Can’t beat that price

We traveled from Texas to see dr. Montoya, everything was done in less than a week. Great facilities and a kind personal made everything more enjoyable. A resounding yes. Dr. Montoya, who was fully booked, arranged to see me before opening hours for a teeth cleaning. A true professional. To demonstrate, Dr. Montoya advised me against teeth whitening - because they are already quite white - despite my insistence. That being said, it is clear to me that Dr. Montoya actually likes his job and advice is not driven by economic factors, but rather patient realities. Thank-you for everything.
