Great coffee shop! You can’t see it directly as you drive, but you can't miss it since they have a sign that directs you into the lot! Love that:) made it easy to find, no stress! I can be pretty boring with coffee. Love the great creations and flavors, but only if I can sit down or on a weekend. During the week, I just want the fuel. I got a large Americano, plain. Absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality. Got a great buzz and I'm happy I stopped by. Wish I got the woman's name of who made this magical americano, but unfortunately I was already running late for work. She was very sweet, really fast, and friendly! She gave me some insight about their new mushroom coffee and I had to send it over to my mushroom-obsessed girlfriend! What a unique creation! Haven't seen that yet. She shared with me that its REALLY good and that there are a lot of great health benefits of mushrooms. I like that. I'm really intrigued to try that! Love the outside, quaint look of this shop and the inside has so much personality. A couple seats are outside as well as seating inside. The inside is great. I love the colors they use and their decor. It's refreshing to see a unique coffee shop like this one that feels more authentic. Overall, happy I found this sweet little gem and I hope more people pop in here too!:)

Such a cute little spot with amazing menu offerings and friendly service! I love the fact that it is somewhat hidden from street view, a layer of mystery is always a huge plus with me! Once inside you’ll find an incredibly well designed space that has plenty of “quality content” to post on your social media. Gold accented fixtures, a mural wall and clear acrylic “Pick Up Here” signs grabbed my attention. My friend ordered an Abuelita Mocha breve style with half and half. Super pleased they offer that option. I ordered the seasonal apple & brown sugar latte and the desert pear lemonade (which you can order with sparkling water). I noticed Monin syrups in strawberry, passion fruit, and matcha. I’m sure there are more to customize your teas and lemonades any which way you’d like! Don’t leave without dessert which for today was the black bean brownie! Not too sweet just the right texture (somewhere between airy and dense) and super tasty! We’ll definitely be back!

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Phoenix! While small on the inside, it feels cozy with all the beautiful decorations and interior design choices and the outdoor seating adds significant space and "dine-in" options. The staff are always super friendly and welcoming and the service is fast. Depending on the line it can take 2-7 minutes I'd say. My absolute favorite aspect of Deseo - again after the awesome vibe - is the variety of coffee/drink options and flavors. My go-to's are the tres leches for coffee and the desert pear lemonade for drinks. Delicious! There are so many uniques flavors and specialty drinks that they come up with based on the season/holiday so I never feel like I'm limited or getting the same thing over and over. Plenty of parking and easy access since it's right off the 10.

Are you kidding me? This place is such a cute and affordable coffee spot! The horchata latte was immaculate! The topo chio lemonade was so refreshing! I've taken all my friends here since I found it. The girl in the front ( I wish I had gotten her name) did very well at explaining the drinks and her energy was beautiful. She made small talk and made us feel welcomed. It felt like I was talking to an old friend. Only down side is that there is not much indoor seating and with this heat, we definitely don't want to sit outside! Other than that, I loved each time ive been here. Keep up the amazing work :)

A former student of mine recommended I check Deseo out if I was on that side of town (I live out in West Valley). The wife had an appointment near there and remembered to go try me a cup on this rainy day. This cozy spot did not disappoint. What a great hot drink I was served. Loved the atmosphere and if I didn't have to run, I could see myself sit with a friend and catch up. I just wished I lived closer, I would frequent more often. I had the caramel macchiato so I could get a compared taste. It was so good. Next time I'll give one of their creations a taste test. I know where I'm getting coffee when I'm on that side of town.

This is a lovely little place. Beware that the specialty drinks are quite sweet and cost more (dairy substitute is a dollar). I got an Abuelita Mocha latte and it was really good. The bar Was a good place to sit because there are outlets directly underneath and the high chair was fun to sit in. (Edit: actually the outlets don't work if you don't continually hold your plug in place) The place is really small inside but has a variety of seating options and fashionable decorations. Very friendly people but service and drinks are it as good. First time I went was great but the second visit was bad. 2 other people were helped before me and had arrived after me. I asked for strong bold coffee and they gave me a cup of milk… not to mention they took forever to make it when I was the only customer in line. I gave my drink away to someone who likes coffee with the least amount of coffee flavor and they loved it.. just solidified how the drink I got was very different from what I asked. Update since they’re response: I did tell them I wanted it strong and they told me they’d decrease the syrup but that still doesn’t explain giving me a cup full of milk.

Look at how cute and cozy is this place! Just the perfect spot to do some work and school stuff. Tried their abuelita drink and avocado toast. The combo was just enough to get me through my work. Love the drink, has the right blend of mocha and caffeine. Garden avocado toast is refreshing, but definitely has some room for improvement. I love eggs on my toast and they don’t have that option, which is fine. The place is small so just keep that in mind if you’re going on a weekend. I went on a Thursday right after lunchtime so there’s not much people when I went. It has enough parking space.

This coffee shop is amazingly consistent with their drinks, and the people on staff are always friendly. They always offer a discount to my wife for being a teacher, and they treat each customer like a priority every time, no matter how busy they get. Today I had the Oatmeal Cherry cookie, which was delicious, and the Rosemary Piloncillo Latte w/ Ginger, which was so very flavorful. I'm pleased with my purchase every time I come here.

My first time visiting there was a guy barista he made my chai latte very good.. went a few more times and my chai wasn’t so good.. when I go I really hope to see that same guy. My last time going there it was two lady baristas and I ordered my chai and I was sitting waiting on my partner to get her drink and my chai tasted like just milk with cinnamon on top and the barista noticed me tasting my chai and asked if it was good and I told her i didn’t taste much “chai” in it.. she said next time get “double chai”.. she wasn’t rude but there definitely won’t be a next time anyone else would have remade it

This place is everything! From the decor to the coffee. I felt like I was in my parents home town going to la plaza to a coffee shop. Love how they incorporated the hispanic culture. The barista he was amazing, very welcoming loved his energy. We ordered an Horchata latte and Canelita Latte both with extra shot of expresso. Personally we like our coffee strong instead of it being too sweet. The extra expresso did help and it tasted amazing. Our favorite was the Canelita Latte. Space is limited but definitely worth going to!

Cute little coffee shack! It’s far from me but have been wanting to try it. Also wanted to try it cause the morning mess gets there coffee from here sometimes. My brother got the tres leches with caramel. Interesting taste. I just got the iced caramel with vanilla. I think I’m not a fan of vanilla coffee anymore. 2nd coffee place that I had vanilla, think I’m more of a caramel and mocha person lol. I like they have tiny ice cubes. They have a stamp card as well. The coffee place is right by the liberty mutual. They have a patio outside. It’s decorated very cute inside.

Such an AWESOME little coffee shop that's right off the freeway and so easy to get to! The coffee and other drinks are incredible, with several different Mexican themed drink options available, i feel like I want to try something new every time I come! The decor inside and out is also super modern and cozy! If you haven't stopped by, you need to as soon as possible! Grab a delicious drink, tasty snack or pastry, and make yourself comfortable. The baristas and owner are all incredibly nice and welcoming, I promise you won't regret trying this place!

This place is truly amazing. The vibe inside and outside is so relaxing and the two baristas were so friendly and we didn't feel it was fake or forced. Wow!!! Such a hidden gem! Jillian and Camille are outstanding employees! It was my first time here. "Good service and good coffee" doesn't always go hand in hand now a days. You either get good coffee but bad service or the other way around. First of all the ambiance here is so unique and the staff is so friendly and the coffee is GREAT!!! I almost didn't want to put up a review because I wanted to keep this hidden gem all to myself, but they deserve all the love. It has a very small, but very cozy and inviting environment, someplace I wouldn't mind meeting with a friend or reading a book at. The cold brew is one of the smoothest ones I've had. The pastries taste homemade and are oh so yummy. The barista was super friendly and had the most uplifting exchange with. I wish them all the success.

Deseo is definitely a new favorite! I ordered an Americano (super good espresso) and a cheddar scallion scone (fluffy and buttery). This little shop is meticulously yet simply styled. It's amazing what they have done with such a tiny little space! You have to see the gorgeous mural. Clean and airy and cozy. Peaceful to get work done but friendly and vibrant for catching up with friends! Great fast service. I'll be back on the regular.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem when flying into Phoenix early for the first time and was needing caffeine stat! Beautifully decorated space, excellent customer service and amazing coffee. Edit: Coffee is great, staff is amazing too however the manager/owner needs to work on her microagression toward certain people. She makes it increasingly difficult to come back for coffee here. We are visiting and stopped in to grab coffee after flying in. Really cute spot with unique coffee drinks, great pastries and really nice staff. I got a special iced latte with cinnamon, agave and Mexican vanilla and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. We also grabbed a blueberry and banana bread and they were some of the best pastries we’ve had. We’ll be back next time we are in town!

Tried a Tres Leche Decaf option & really enjoyed it. Nice assortment of various pastries available including a nutella cake that looked absolutely amazing. Coming back to taste an Abuelita next. Nice friendly place, great service, unique furnishings & custom wood wooks adorn the inside.

I stopped in unexpectedly, as I missed my connecting flight in Phoenix. This place was SO cute and the food and drink were great. It’s small but very cozy. Everyone was so friendly - from the staff to the other customers. You could tell it was very much a local spot as people were greeted by their names from employees. I worked from here for a few hours and it was fun!

This is an instant favoriate. For vibe, warmth, and without a doubt the coffee. From Latin inspired unique offerings to people who want choose to kill themselves through espresso shots. Lot's of folks will find this place the perfect quiant coffee shop...the owner Martha has questionable music taste, but I digress. Go there and have a great experience across the board.

The shop has amazing decor and such great style! The place is trendy and cozy all in one :) Good place to chat with friends or hunker down and study. Staff is super friendly as well, fun to talk to. The coffee has its own special, unique taste I haven't found elsewhere. I highly recommend this spot to others and look forward to more visits when I am in Phoenix.

This place is so cute! The interior has a nice vibe; it's small, but there's enough room to sit and work or study, they have WiFi, the coffee is really good, and they have vegan treats as well as oat, almond (and possibly more?) vegan mylks. The staff was also very friendly and answered my questions without any "cooler than thou" vibes.

Hidden Gem! The ambiance is warm and inviting. I flew in and wanted somewhere I could sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee before heading to my clinic. We were walking by this place, and we decided to recharge. It looks like a typical college town place for coffee and munchies very laid back and comfortable. Turns out that the coffee is excellent, they roast it themselves and have been doing so for ten years. We will definitely come back and recommend the coffee shop to others!

This place has really cute decor. The drink I had was delicious, and you can tell it was made with care. Love the mexican-inspired specials. It makes me a little sad that they upcharge for non-dairy milk, and it would be nice if they would mark which specials can be made vegan. That being said I will definitely be back.

Deseo is sooooo cute and quirky. The decor is wonderful and the people are friendly. The drinks are delicious (that cold foam tho...mmm) and those pastries look good too. I want to live here. There is ample patio seating out front for when the weather is nice. I wish I had know about this spot sooner!

Very good coffee. Not super expensive. My wife had the La Rosa (Rose flavored lemonade). She loved it and the Tres Leches Latte was super smooth, not too sweet. Made by a brand new barista in training too. She did great. The interior is beautiful.

Super cute neighborhood café with friendly service, good coffee, and a fun selection of specialty drinks inspired by Mexican sweets. If you've ever wished Tres Leches Cake and espresso had a beautiful, thick, sweet baby, this is your place.

Super small and cute. Can get crowded with just a couple people and the coffee wasn't horrible. I wouldn't mind hanging out here on a slow day but if I have places to be I'd probably just drive-through somewhere instead of stop in here.

Love this place. You can go drink a coffee and just sit and read a book inside or outside. It's a little small inside but nice and cozy and more room outside to sit in the sun and just chit chat. Love it
