Went to see options for a car refinance and spoke with Lesli Quezada, the experience was average at best. I didn't feel put importance to really with my questions or concerns I asked her directly. Overall it felt more I was the one working to get answers... or if I was interrupting something she was doing? Which keep in mind I did schedule a appointment for the car refinance online...arriving on time as well. I had to go in twice since my refinance was put on a "wait" and lesli said she would contact me back the next business day with a response yet no callback. I had to go in person to know if I was approved, which strangely the system showed within seconds now that I was approved upon walking in and talking with her, yet all day there was no call to let me know. Decided to go to a different credit union and glad I did, the experience was a complete 180, with a more informative rep and better rate. I mean I don't know if I would recommend this credit union due to my personal experience, but it's local, there's that.
I went in to make a deposit due to atm having a long line. This was my first time having to do this as I'm a new customer. When I went in I was greeted by 2 people at the front desk. I let them know I needed to make a deposit and was told to wait in line. The bank was empty except for one customer being helped. I waited 15 mins for the teller to help due to her current transaction which is understandable. However, seeing other employees go in and out of their office and the 2 at the front laughing and not asking or checking in is a bit frustrating. Clearly, one of the two laughing was a banker because he went back to his desk so he could have helped me right away as other banks normally do. The teller was very nice and apologized for the long wait but think other team members there should've been more attentive and helped a bit.
I am a little frustrated with this place in general and my last interaction solidified my opinion. My card was somehow cloned and used, so I needed to cancel my card and get a new one. I went into the branch and their machine for making new cards was broken. They quoted me 5 days to get a new card or charge me $20 for expedited (not next day delivery). I am even more upset because I had to reach back out to dispute another transaction and they told me the actual time frame would be 7-10 days. Just not happy that they want to charge me because their machine is broken. Desert Financial acts more like a bank and not a local credit union at this point!
Meh. I first chose this branch based on its review, but was disappointed when I arrived. The gentleman upfront with the cool glasses with great. My complaint is the service. The chubby teller with the big glasses frames was pretty rude. She didn’t look at me when she talked, she rudely told, not asked, to remove my sun glasses. She was curt and when I requested a new card, her response was “why, what happened to yours?!”- well, if I knew, I wouldn’t have come into the branch, now would I? Her customer service was very subpar.

Like to make an correction three weeks ago at the 32 nd ST and Baseline branch Manager Fabian and RS David Luna helped with a transaction that was very important to me and my family . This is my FAVORITE branch!! The team is so kind and helpful! They go up and beyond! They always put a smile on my face because they always seem happy to see me! I appreciate the kind greeting and the smiles on their face! I want the thank this branch because some much ugliness happens in the world and it’s nice to be in a place that has positive joyful energy!!
Do not do business with Desert Financial Credit Union ... Giving me the go run around, making come to the bank with a representative (that had to take time out of their work day to meet me) per their instructions, only to be told they can't do anything about it for a week...once this all clears I will be surely moving my accounts to a more competent bank...
Wow! came to this location to change my name on my way home from phoenix. I was more than impressed. I was greeted warmly and the representative that helped me made sure everything was the way I wanted it and also helped activate my new card! Very impressed and might just drive all the way over here to update my info again if needed. …
Shout out to Fabian and Daniel from the 32nd St and Baseline branch. I have successfully banked with Desert Schools for decades. Fabian and Daniel have handled some difficult transactions for me and did so with grace and style. Thank you. I am grateful for all the years of great service. We are lucky to have Desert Financial.
I love doing business with Desert Financial it's just that sometimes tryg ing to use the ATM especially in south Phoenix is irritating. They're always not working or something. The ATM off of 24th Street and Baseline is handy except you can't make deposits there and the last time I was there it had been bashed in..
Came to cash my accident check to pay my bills and some stuck up old lady behind the glass tells me I have insufficient funds to cover the check so it will be on hold till next week. I've been banking with DS for years and still they steal my money. I'll say this, chase never "held" my checks.

I wish I could give these SOB’s lower than 1 star. I personally told this office not to sell my personal information but oh boy oh boy I was so wrong for trusting these scammers. If you do care about your personal information than stop contacting Credit union Arizona.
We had an appointment to start the process of a will and the rep, denise didn’t even show up. No phone call to say she couldn’t make it. No phone call to say sorry. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. This is making me re think my options.
I've had nothing but issues with this bank and my auto loan. Leslie quezada helped me out last week, I was approved and now I'm just waiting for her to call me for the paperwork. She didn't answer All day on Monday , no one called me back
teller unable to deposit a check endorsed in my name even when I said that I have a power of attorney from the person who endorsed to me. Went to Chase and had no problem at all. thinking on withdrawal my savings from Desert Financial.
Atm seems to never work. Told them inside and informed me they can't put a sign on the atm that it doesn't work. It will take your card but not let you input your pin so you have to wait till it times out to retrieve your card.
I went in to open a new account and with minutes I came out satisfied with the professionals I recieved and the knowledge of their products. I was given multiple options after discussing what my goals were. Highly recommended.
