I have been going here for years because of the fantastic staff and what was great service. However having had a problem with a Makita line trimmer recently we discovered that the management will not stand by their products. They took in the faulty product which had already broken once a few weeks into ownership for a second repair still in the 12 month warranty period in and incredibly months later in November just ahead of a severe bushfire season haven’t repaired or returned the line trimmer and won’t refund the money. They won’t resolve the consumer issue until they are sure they are getting the money back from Makita. We had been strong backers of both Mitre Ten and the Makita 18V system however it’s time to try something else. An unbelievably poor experience and in breach of Australian Consumer Law, but they don’t care.

Walked into the paint section and asked for tips and pointers on patching a hole in a wall and colour matching, my curiosity was brushed off with “ah it’s easy just slap some paint on it” I continued to ask for what I needed to get this done correctly, but it was clear they just wanted me to leave. Brought a sample piece of the wall in and the guys at the paint section tried to match it. After trying they said “you have better eyes than me, what do you think” I replied that it looked nothing like my sample, they said “we’ll use the machine to detect it” After patching the wall, and repainting a small section. It’s clear the colour looks nothing like the sample brought them. Lazy staff who are careless. Never wasting my time going to Mitre 10 again, going to Bunnings from now on.

The friendliest staff! We are here all the time and honestly can't fault the place. Everyone is quick to see if you need a hand and will actually help when you need. They cut everything to size at no charge which is handy if you have a smaller car. They will load it all up aswell so if you require that assistance or just like the convenience then this is the place to go. They will always go above and beyond to help you out and have a great conversation while you're at it. Coffee machine inside and toilets. Prices are alot better than another big chain when it comes to wood, especially if you use the mitre 10 rewards card. You don't have to run a business to enjoy the rewards either.

I left this outlet disappointed, I tried three times to get one of the staff attention but was treated like I was invisible?! I waited for one to finish talking to a customer and before I could say excuse me can you help me he rushed off with out even asking can I help you?! Now perhaps I am used to Bunnings were they actually ask when your been waiting for them to finish with a customer but after reading some of the reviews on here it seem to be a systemic problem perhaps management need to teacher there staff how to do customer support, illd probably suggest if this was done your sales would improve!

Diamond Valley Mitre10 has recently won a national retail business award and I highly reccomend a visit to immerse yourself in an amazing shopping experience. All Staff are Mighty Helpful, super friendly and keen to go the extra mile to assist with your purchases. What's great is you need not look for help, they will find you and offer their assistance. The range of products is huge! This is a destination with much more than Hardware alone and pricing is very competitive. No project too small or too big and feel confident that you have the right product for the job.

Terrible customer service. Staff were rude on the phone and discriminatory to my vaccination status. I am all about community and supporting business, however, when a business chooses to shut out society who do not agree with a particular view that's where my support stops for that business. I'm disgusted at this big business who could choose to stand up to bullies in the government but are sitting back complying with these unethical rules. Diamond Creek Mitre 10 will not get my business again.

This place is genuinely excellent. The range is good and the prices are reasonable, but what really makes this place special is the service. The staff are competent, knowledgeable and friendly. They actually want to help. Overall the store has a bit of a country store, old fashioned service feel about it. If you go there regularly, people remember your name and they look after you. More retail businesses should operate like these guys and could learn a lot from them. Outstanding.

If you ever wanted a true definition of good old fashioned customer service simply shop here. I have always found Diamond Valley Mitre10 to be an awesome store but their level of customer service during this pandemic lockdown is simply brilliant. Over the phone ordering with contactless click and collect proves why they are a step above the competition. Thank you to the staff for the brilliant service you provide.

While it has "everything" and a very helpful individual whom I didn't get a name, my reason for travelling there became a disappointment in that after calling to confirm a very particular product was in stock, it wasn't. This particular individual offered an alternative, completely different however it worked, with a bit of imagination but good enough. Many thanks to that person, sorry I missed nothing your name.

Awesome little place. Heaps of places to eat, really good public transport, grouse pub and plenty of shops. It has excellent sporting facilities and a big off leash dog park. Diamond Creek has an excellent bike track /walking path that is well maintained that goes all the way to Eltham. It has a warm country feel to it while still inside Melbourne's 20 mile radius. An excellent place to bring up your children.

My partner gave the very unhelpful lady at the desk the name for his mitre 10 trade account. She said she couldn't find it. He said can you search by my mobile number... still no help. Just a blank look from her as she was so disinterested in helping us what so ever. Was awkward standing there in silence. 100% wont be going back to this store. Its worth driving a bit further to get better service elsewhere.

I'm always impressed with Mitre 10. The quality of their products are excellent. I find it's better than Bunnings. But to be fair to Bunnings they have a larger variety. What I need I usually find it at Mitre 10. The only negative thing I can say is the plants section could be bigger & the store could be bigger. Apart from that, the staff are friendly & knowledgeable.

Order some things online and this was the store closest to put the order together and send. When it was delivered, one item was missing. Called the store and was told one of the staff members will bring it to me on their day off. Got the item the next day. The staff that I spoke to were very friendly and actioned the issue quickly too. Thanks again to the staff! :)

I really really appreciate the level of customer service provided buy diamond creek mitre 10. They are so helpful, genuine and will really take the time to address your problem thoroughly. They don't have a massive range but absolutely make up for it with service. I go out of my way to go to this store despite having a Bunnings close by.

This place is far bigger than it looks from the front. They have an extremely wide range of good products and their service is excellent. On one purchase I wanted a table saw that is seldom stocked by anyone but specialists. They got it in for me and for $100s of dollars less than Bunnings.

DV mitre 10 has always been incredibly helpful and personal. During these incredibly difficult times with lockdowns and restrictions, this is even more so. The staff go out of their way to find what you need and accommodate a pickup time that works for you. 10 out of 10 DV Mitre 10!!

What a great experience, started with a phone call with excellent customer service, then a visit with same service and great advice. The shop is big and clearly set out. Very bright and clean with all available products clearly displayed and organized. Will definitely be back again.

Has all of what I need for most jobs. For specific/specialist parts. May need to source elsewhere, I don't expect them to stock such things though. Staff are very lovely and knowledgeable. Awesome selection of tools, and all the usuals. Prices are fair among the different brands.

The service I received was poor. The manager would never apologize. His team member did a mistake. When asked how they didn't know these basic rules, costing my time. He just kept saying "that's ok" adamantly, instead of apologizing. Would never go back to this store

What a wonderful store with amazing staff. We purchased am outdoor table from James that was delivered by Paul. Although we'd never shopped there before, nor lived in the area, it felt like we were dealing with friends. Their service was amazing. Highly recommend

Prices far higher than bunnings and service was terrible. Staff were rude and couldn't explain why the online order wasn't processing on my phone. Ended up leaving and going to Bunnings Eltham instead. Pity because prior to covid, service had been fine.

Friendly helpful staff, pricing is ok but worth having a rewards card to sharpen the pencil a little bit. Not always easy to get a price match. Good selection of hardware, homewares and garden gear. Toolshop is fairly comprehensive as well.

Can't say I will ever step foot in this store ever again. I am all about supporting local business. But I don't appreciate being treated poorly from staff when I am there. I will just stick to using my Powerpass at Bunnings I think.

After using Bunning, It's a pleasure to use Mitre 10 at Diamond Creek the service is great, supplied by knowledgeable staff. If you take into consideration time wasted at Bunnings, Mitre 10 are cheaper.
