I made a dumb mistake and locked all my keys in my car while it was running. I called Axel in a panic and he was at my house within 15 minutes. Edit: only removed two stars as we had set up to get a Key Fob for our truck. The locksmith needed to order the key fob. I asked him after waiting a week if the key fob was here and ready as the truck would be leaving to a different city and would not return. I received no response, I was left on read. Intentional or not it’s extremely disappointing. We also discovered that the new key works in the ignition it does work do unlock any doors. Very disappointed but still grateful he was able to come out on which short notice.

Bought a boat and needed keys made for the glove box and storage bins. I took the lock apart and took them the cylinder. Normally, you'll see a set of numbers , which doesn't mean anything to most people. The numbers the a locksmith the position of the wafers/pins inside the lock and they can quickly cut a key using the code. My lock didn't have any numbers. No problem though because these guys made a key for me using the "impression" technique. (I used to work in this field decades ago) It only took him about 4-5 minutes and had a new key made. Fast and friendly. Price was fair . I'd definitely go back for future key or lock needs...

What can I say about Axel, he's fantastic. I lost my keys about a week ago, I called Axel for assistance. He quoted a time to meet me at my location and not only was he prompt, but very professional. Lost the keys to my Honda, I was so stressed trying to find the keys. Called multiple places trying to charge 50%-100% more. Gave them a call and their estimate blew me away as that was the biggest reason for my stress, with other places trying to charge $300. Axel was courteous and quick. He came to the airport parking at 11:00 pm on a Sunday with a kind smile and demeanor. I was traveling and our car was broken into with my bag with the key fob in it stolen. A late arrival flight on a Sunday night meant my dealership wouldn't be really helpful, nor the first couple of locksmiths I reached out to. Wow! This was awesome! I had originally called for a quote because I didn’t have a mechanical key. I had a fob and the internet said I would need to go to the dealership for replacement. I think I have found the best mechanic in houston! I went to 3 different mechanics in a 2 day time span, I had to get my car towed to all 3, but when I found Direct auto keys, I got lucky, he was able to come to me with no hesitation, 3 mechanics couldn’t seem to find the problem and was telling me something different was wrong with my car, but this guy went straight to the problem and fixed it in no time! My 2022 Volkswagen Atlas started acting up after someone hit the front bumper in the parking lot causing damage to the sensors & my 5 month old son got locked inside because it detected theft when we were leaving. The VW app wouldn’t work to unlock it because the engine was running & Axel the locksmith got to me in less than 15 minutes and was able to get my vehicle unlocked in less than 2 minutes. 10/10 recommended.

Worst customer service around!! Got a call back, I was told by the locksmith that he works for 10 different companies and I could wait the 2 hours for him. Or be locked out of my car for 3 days and be stuck. When I asked how much. He told me $180 for a basic key (no key fob). When I told him that was a bit much. He responded with “so no money” and hung up the phone. Wouldn’t refer them to my worst enemy

I'm A certified Mechanic I replaced the ignition and immobilizer, one locksmith said I wired something wrong, this locksmith got the car started! He's very trustworthy and knows what he's doing.
