If I could give Dischem but especially this store a zero rating I would. Disgusting service by an inept and ugly woman at counter 8 in the dispensary at Park Meadows on the 26th October 2022 around 12pm. I walked in, clearly in pain and with a swollen cheek. Definitely a tooth abscess - having experienced it before and knew immediately what it was. The reply from said lady when asking for a short course of anti-biotics was 'Are you a doctor though?' in the snarkiest most tacky, condescending way. She didn't bother to one second think that I might know my body better than anyone else. And not all of us have money to throw at a doctor for a 5 minute visit, billed at an hour and to have to pay massively for a script. Yes, I know a script is needed but instead of explaining to me that there may not have been a prescribing pharmacist in the store, that the law night have changed, OR offering me any alternative options, she sat on her fat backside and looked wholley unimpressed with life, and raised her voice at me. No matter, I went to another pharmacy in close proximity and got the assistance I needed from them and they will see my future scripts and money from now on. If I was the manager of this store, I would get rid of this unfortunate woman asap.

My husband needed a Covid antigen test to attend a function. I thought the site was a drive through as it was under that heading on a Google search, but I didn't see the list below showing it wasn't. While the process of registering and receiving the results was very efficient, and the staff were professional and carried out their duties diligently, there were significant issues with the testing site inside the store. The area for testing was downright dangerous. People were lined up in a hall too close to each other, one person was hunched over, coughing and obviously sick, and the test was done in an enclosed room. My husband told the staff that Dis-Chem needed to be doing this outdoors in a tent and she said, "They're working on it." One has to wonder how many of these type of testing sites are actually spreading the virus with sick people waiting in a confined, indoor space. I'm not in the medical profession but I can do math. Cubic feet x viral load x ventilation = risk level.

I called Dischem today at 17:52pm and several times after that to speak to someone in the dispensary about a medication that was dispensed and I needed clarification. Someone kept putting me through and the phone kept going dead. Until eventually they were closed and that was that. I am a customer as Dischem and I understand that everyone is under pressure during a pandemic but I have often stood at the queue and the phone rings off the hook and no-one answers. I know you want to go home everyone does but that does not give you a right not to answer your phone.

Unhelpfull/unknowledgeable staff aside. what topped the cake was the fact that halfway through my payment the cashier ushered the next customer through, with complete disregard for covid regulations. then I was asked to "move" to make room for the customer when I spent an extra 10 seconds to check my receipt. When asked to speak to a manager and she just said there was no manager here, then she continued to ignore me completely. I underatand it was close to closing time was but this sort of behaviour was a first for me.

This 1 star is specifically for today's experience. I was sent the wrong medicine via delivery and charged for it. I told the Head of the dispensary, Aslam, I wanted a refund to my card. He did something totally different resulting in me spending an hour trying to resolve the issue with other very helpful staff members. He was nowhere to be seen. Aslam needs to take ownership and understand HOW to fix the issue for the customer. Extremely poor leadership. I would like to applaud Eugene for stepping in and assisting.

Just want to thank Dis-Chem Park Meadows for their awesome service this morning. Agartha at the customer service helped, along with the security desk to confirm that I had dropped a bottle of vitamins at the tills that I had paid for and had left the store. She called the tills and security to assist and eventually they saw this on camera. She was happy to give me the bottle I had dropped and even apologized, when they had did nothing wrong. Thank you to Agartha and Dis-chem Park Meadows!

Fully aware that that we are going through an unusual event, expecting business hours will be affected, my first port of call was the Dischem website. It clearly states the shop is open. Venturing out the second time, to get much needed pain medication, I find the shop closed, a second time. I then phoned to find out when the shop will be open and was told by a pre-recorded message to consult the website. I am in terrible pain and have to restrain myself not to lash out.

Squeaky clean shop, that has got very helpful staff. I bought some medication for my Mom there and because it was a repeat script, they should have updated all their systems. When I went to Dischem Green Valley to get the following month’s script, they could not find it. They said some of these new branches are not fully trained on how to use the system. I didn’t have the script and had to wait until the following day to get another script. This could have been avoided.

Dischem should quite the clinic business as the service is beyond bad. No communication from anyone including the store manager that sits in his office. 3 hours after making a booking as advised by them and they can't even hold to an appointment scheduled. What a pointless exercise. Never again, I'm sure there are other companies that can do a lot better.

This is one of best chemistry store. They usually provide with good customer service, very clean, and very beautiful. All about it is very welcoming, great service, good prices and the staff in general working fine. I believe they are the biggest attraction in Park Meadows, even better than Pick n Pay Very good

Hi have been shopping at the Parkmeadows store since I moved to Bedfordview 12 years ago. In the last couple of weeks the store is being completely relaid. I am not in the least bit impressed by the changes being made to the store. I trust this feedback will be brought to the attention of Eben and Gary.

Honestly placed an order online on the 7th to date l haven't received it. Had to call today to ask. Service to your clients its key guys. It was my first time to use you guys but l will never ever use you guys. Very bad service. Will stick to what l know.

There is a lot of everything in this store, the variety is big and the brands are of good quality. When I am not sure where to find something I go to Dischem. The only issue with this particular store is the very narrow isles ate the counter end.

I ordered a kettle online on back Friday 25th of November 2022, got a call a week later to say they do not have the kettle, they would be refunding me, its been over a week since the call and I have not been refunded. They are clearly scaming me.

Always had good service from Park meadows. However, this month that have not botheredto to read emails or answer phone call. Using COVID 18 as an reason which I don't buy, had better service during lockd own level 5. Very annoyed

Irritating I have been trying to make an appointment with Park meadows clinic and you hold for almost 30 mins then you are told it went through to dispensary while you chose option for clinic then you get cut off.

Pathetic service online, dispensaries will either take long to pick up or drop your call entirely. If you are lucky to get through person placing order for delivery will forget to even create the order. DO BETTER

Dispensary is extremely slow, standing in que with an average 5-10 min per person turn around time. Pharmacists take extremely long even when simply folding a bag. Please consider hiring staff under 50+ of age !

It offers a lot of medical products. One can also book for medical check ups and fitness at the clinic. It is actually more than a chemist. They have more cashiers which makes it quick to serve customers.

Has an excellent range of products, and ample floor space which is always a pleasure. One of the floor merchandisers, from the cosmetics section went beyond my request. I was impressed.

Service has dropped in a very big way, on all three times I've been there. Before Covid I basically shopped there buy post the lockdown I'm disappointed

It was impossible to get trought to the Clinic today to make an appointment, calls are not taken and/or dropped after long while of waiting.

Stock most of your medical needs and their small clinic has well trained staff who can assist with basic procedures such as wound stitching
