I came in today and was hopeful that Benjamin and his crew would help me get my car fixed up in an “hour” time frame that was expressed both in person and with their “see where your car is in line” link. I have been in store for almost 2 hours and nothing has been done for my car. Not even brought into the bay. I bought four new tires, four new sensors, and new wipers. I’ve seen many people come and go, they came in after me and have left before me. Nothing communicated to me in person nor online. They have already charged me and now I’m am out a car and am stuck sitting in the lobby until they decide that my car is ready to be brought in. I had plans of travelling back home today, a 5 hour drive out west, but with the current circumstances I assume I’m not leaving until later in the afternoon. Which was not supposed to be the case. Next time I will find another establishment to help with my tires. Because although I am grateful for their help, this experience is a deal breaker for me.

So let me preface by saying that I bought my tires and made an appointment online. So my experience might be different than others for those reasons. I was in and out of the store in less than 30 min. I knew exactly what I was paying and overall, the process was very smooth. The people there were very efficient and I did not feel at all uncomfortable like I do at some other tire/mechanic shops. I would definitely recommend this place for those reasons but I have no experience at this location with patching tires/replacing a warrantied tire/airing up/ or showing up without an appointment. I was there at 3pm and it was fairly busy. Lots of staff though, and seats. The parking lot is a little awkward and it is at an incline so be aware of that going in. Overall, great experience.

In San Antonio for business, came out to get in my car and the low tire light was on. This Discount Tire was only 3 miles from where I was working. Nice! Matthew was my service advisor. He checked all 4 tires which I knew were worn and came up with an affordable solution to get 4 new tires and get me back on the road. Although they were busy I was done in an hour. Discount Tire is where I always go for new tires. The free rotation they do is also very convenient. And services and professionalism is the same at every location I have visited. UPDATED: Next AM low tire pressure light is on. Going to a different Discount Tire. Wait is not good, need to head home. Appears they put a tire with a nail in it from my front right onto the spare. Went to another location for the fix.

Total dishonest from arrival , after speaking with ben, he tried to sell me new tires so bad , my tires are practically new, my car only needed balance , but he got upset when I told him that I need to know the cause of the problem before approving repaired , as a result he did not even do what should have been done, and concluded saying it's low quality tires. Biggest lie. And they left dirty greasy marks on my door handle and steering wheel. He is asking me about my wipers Instead , what is wrong with these people , Once he found out I am not buying tires or wipers , he put in the computer just check the tires for separation. These people are after your money , but to be honest I do recognize one person who couldn’t change the outcome.

I don't know what the hell happened to this companies location but it's gone straight downhill fast. Ive been a customer about 15 years. I bought tires for my truck last year, bought the lifetime certs, spent about $3000. Everytime I make an appointment for my balance and rotation someone jacks it up, they lost my lock for my lugs, and the nail hole I've been needing repaired.....all they do is put air in the tire and tell me "don't know what happened to your appointment but it's about 1 1/2 to 2 hr wait. The point of me making the appointment is to NOT wait. I'll go to a different location from now on. Plus the parking here is ridiculous. People park outside the lanes and my truck has almost been hit twice.

I needed a flat tire repair and I had been parked at this location since 6:30am, and of course as it was getting closer to opening time people started showing up and a line started so I got out of my vehicle to wait in line behind others. Doors opened and Ben was kind/sweet to call out the description of my vehicle first cause he noticed I was there first… and for that I am truly and always will be a big fan of Discount Tire because they never fail me!! Thank you Ben for the awesome customer service you ROCK!!! Plus how they kindly update you with what’s going on with your vehicle is an another great thing about these guys! (Logan) I love my Discount Tire ♥️

God forbid you leave something valuable in your car here. I have been a loyal customer for 10+ years. One of their techs stole my kids’ Nintendo Switch. I’m 99.9% sure as nobody else had access to my vehicle but them, and I’ve made sure it wasn’t elsewhere. Manager didn’t seem to really care much and they told me they don’t have cameras. Filed a police report. They messed up my rims once at this location too, but they owned up to it and repaired it so kudos for that. Unfortunately due to this incident, Discount Tire has lost a loyal customer. Beware if you bring your vehicle here. One of their techs is a thief and they don’t care to figure out who it is.

I used to go there very frequently during the summer months and some time prior, not just for me, but for the company i work for. Now, I drive a big truck with a sound system. And during SUMMER i was always blasting my system with my windows down. Well my last visit a few months ago, i got told to never come back by a manager. Because apparently as a girl “im a distraction” to his workers (i did not speak unless i was spoken to and was never in skimpy clothing). Now I can’t even go to the closest discount tire, to buy new tires for my truck because I am a girl? If I could give zero stars i would.

I was blown away by the service I received yesterday at this Discount Tire. The shop was busy at 4:30p on a Friday afternoon and I got a flat and arrived unscheduled. I have to give a nod to the friendly, educated, service from Thomas. He found the screw in my tire and knew it would need just a simple repair and made sure I knew the condition of my tires and when I would need a replacements all the way around. The crew in the bay were absolutely hustling. It was spectacular to see. I was advised it would be over an hour and actual wait time was around 30 minutes. Bravo gentlemen. Outstanding.

++ Military discount ++ Went in here with intention of getting some tires ended up with some rims and tires for less then it would cost for the rims I had on the car. Mikey the best salesman in the world, took time with me listened, walked around and checked the tires. Don’t let the larger number of people at the place Deter you from getting it done that day. They put the rims on my car in less than 20 minutes. Definitely going back to him for my truck this place is awesome thank you guys did in 20 minutes and I ate at Jim’s restaurant by the time I was done the car was ready thanks again.

Received excellent service! I’m not sure whether there’s been a change in management since my last visit but the customer service was neat perfect. I so appreciated Logan’s professionalism and discretion… everyone in the store does not need to hear or know the issues customers are experiencing… Logan spoke to me without broadcasting the conversation to the entire store. Christian brought my car out once the service was completed; he was incredibly polite and provided some information about what had been done as he walked me to my car… Very impressed and pleased…

I scheduled an appointment for 245, I arrived at 230pm and was greeted by Javi, who did not register me into the system until 3pm after double checking my tire size and yet still ordering the wrong size tire I was told at 3pm that it would only take an hour(which actually took 2 hrs) in the midst of it all I was informed that the wrong tire was delivered and they were not aware of my car needing service. Two men did come and fix the mess (thank God) and had me out 20 minutes later, thanks to them I was able to get home and only 15 minutes late picking my kid up from childcare. *sigh*

I came in because my tire pressure light was on and Johnny caught the screw in my back tire. Johnny and Gabe were knowledgeable, respectful, and helped me find the best tires for my budget! Both bent over backwards to listen to my concerns over price and find me the best deals! Super impressed with their service, and I was in a hurry to get somewhere and their service team was so kind to get me in and out in 20 minutes! (Thank you SO much!) Highly recommend this awesome Discount Tire team!!! They’ll get my repeat business for sure

I got a flat while out at the mall today and waited ridiculously too long for roadside. In the meantime I was in contact with Logan who was ready to help me as soon as i was able to get my car to them. Couldn’t find the lock for the lug nuts and had just about given up hope for the day. Thank goodness Logan more than stepped up. My husband was able to go get the lock from them and put my spare on with time to get back and leave my car for service. Thank you Logan for going above and beyond today. You are appreciated.

I came in at 2:00pm to change out a fleet tire.(on a vehicle that does life safety work) I already had the tire taken off and the company I work for uses Mike Albert fleet services.(it’s supposed to make things more convenient) We couldn’t get the Mike Albert figured out until 3:20pm and I went back to do “life safety work” till 5:45pm. 2:00pm-5:45pm just one tire to be changed out, not fixed just take the old tire off and install a new one & it’s now closing time. Finally got my tire @6:36pm

I have been a customer of Discount Tire for many years and I will say the level of service, concern, and attention to detail with the purchase of my last set of tires was way above anything expected. I wish I had written down the names of the guys inside that helped me with my orders (yes they ordered 2 full sets of tires for me!) and the guys in the bays as well. These guys and others like them are the reason Discount is the only place I have gone for tires over the last 18+ years. Thank you!

Very dissatisfied with this location. I used to always come here for tires but now they just want to make money and say my warranty is not valid from my apparent 2 new tires that I purchased in March of this year!!! They make up excuses why they won’t honor their warranty because they want to just make more money off us! I would stay away from here and try other businesses first!!

I came in for a screw in my tire, and was hoping for a quick repair. Unfortunately, it needed to be replaced. The staff (Logan and Beto) were VERY patient, and explained all of my options, as I wasn't prepared for the cost to replace any tires. A HUGE thank you to Beto, who ensured I got a good deal. Omg does everyone need free air and someone to do it for them ‍♀️ Every discount tire we have been through has had a long lines of 20 to 50 cars to get air it is just ridiculous to try to get in to get a tire repair went to Walmart instead $20 and 30 mins I was done. Went back and The car in front of us at discount was just about 2 cars back still for air

Addition to my previous review: i had a lug nut completely stuck, stripped, and hopeless on my Jeep. These guys got it off - AFTER THEY WERE CLOSED FOR THE NIGHT! Their layout is deceiving, they have posts and orange cones stating “wait here”, and come to find out when I got closer, was for air checks, waited 15 minutes in line thinking this was the way to check in for my appointment. Employees laughed at me and others that had also been confused. Horrible service, I ended up leaving and cancelling my appointment

I was beyond pleased with the service here. I had an appointment at 8:30 am to have all four tires put on my Lexus, I entered the store at 8:10 am and they had me out the door by 8:30. I have never been in and out of any Discount Tire anywhere near that quickly. Will definitely be doing business with them again and will recommend to anyone I know.

My husbands wheel was bent (unknown reason) and Ben and Javier were so incredibly helpful finding new rims that fit the style and price range my husband was wanting without haggling us!! They even worked to find the rims as close as possible to get them in the truck ASAP. This discount tire is top notch customer service, quality, and efficiency.

Having to deal with a flat tire is never an easy task, especially on a very limited budget, but yesterday’s experience was seamless for me thanks to Beto at this Discount Tire location. The customer service I received was top-notch and I will definitely return to Discount Tire for all my future tire purchases.

The air conditioner at this location broke last week. The waiting room is full and NO Air conditioner or water. It’s 100F and it’s not the hottest part of the day yet. There are no fans or temp AC or water - pretty ridiculous to allow customers to sit inside in this heat and not do anything for over a week.

The staff at this location are the best! They explained the issues with my wheels very clearly and even took me to the back to show me an example on my tires. Beto was very patient and worked with me to get a great deal!! I was very impressed with their efficiency and manners throughout my visit.

Absolutely stellar customer service! I have a trailer tire that recently went flat. Discount tire was unable to fix it. So they honored my warranty with replacing it with a brand new tire ! I only had to pay the $14 warranty. Great business I will definitely be back.

My usual tire shop. They price matched a Yokohama tire I found online but was not listed on their site. But they apparently had them and got them there same day and was able to stop in and get them done on my F-Type within what seemed like 30min. No fuss no muss.

I had one of the best customer experiences in my life. I had a flat tire the night before and we are from out of town. First thing in the morning, team member Beto addressed our problems and concerns and had us on our way back to town quickly and safely.

These guys are great as long as you have appointment. Walk-ins are pretty rough. Also you have to check stock at the store you are going to or purchase and wait for tires to arrive. Lower priced options never seem to be stocked at my location.
