I can’t believe this salon! I would not recommend anyone come here. I called to book a highlight apt and the receptionist let me know the different levels of stylists and their fees. I booked with Cheri who is a senior stylist. I was told she is $80/hr for her services. I made the appointment and not 5 minutes later the receptionist called me back asking for a $100 deposit. This is a first to be asked this at any salon. The lady on the phone let me know I could buy a gift card on their website so I let her know next week on my payday I would go ahead and buy one. Friday comes and I purchase the gift card and call them to let them know. The receptionist asked for the gift card number which I did not have as the confirmation email did not provide one. After she spoke to her manager she let me know I would receive another email In a couple days and to call back when I get it. Okay! On sunday Diva calls me and says they are canceling the appointment because they don’t have a deposit! What?! I was shocked! This is not how you treat a customer. I told the receptionist that I have the gift card deposit but waiting on the card number. I let her know maybe it will come on Monday as it is the weekend. I also let her know that it was extremely rude to operate this way and treat customers like this and they need better communication between their staff. I told her that I would like to keep my appointment as I’ve already paid $100 for it. I will call as soon as I receive the number. I sent them the confirmation email to hold my appointment in the meantime. This is all a red flag that I should have noticed but gave the benefit of the doubt. Monday I gave them the card number as soon as I got the email. Saturday (today) is my appointment day…. I let Cheri know I would like highlights and no cut. I asked for a partial highlight. Cheri comes back and gives me this paper asking me to sign to agree to pay $475 for a PARTIAL HIGHLIGHT! I gasped and told her that is not what I was told when I booked. I can’t afford that. Nobody should be paying $475 for root touch up partial highlights !! This is more than I’ve ever paid for my hair even for full highlights and a hair cut! I’m completely beside myself right now that Cheri even thinks this is ok? I asked her if there was anything we could do to bring the cost down and she said “how much can you afford”? I told her $300 max which is about what I normally pay. So Cheri then proceeds to tell me that for $300 she will only do bare minimum foils - 1 strip on the top of my head and a couple on the sides. You’ve got to be kidding me? Wow…. At this point I told her no and that I will be seeing my regular stylist . Unfortunately I won’t be saving any money and I’m out $100 on a diva gift card that I can’t even get a refund for as it states in the email I got. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I came to this location to save some money as I am on maternity leave. I learned my lesson. Just go where you’re happy. Don’t stray. Stay with your stylist that you love and save up and plan accordingly to have what you want.

This review is somewhat overdue. I’ve been going to Diva Salon at many different locations for over 15yrs and never been prompted or been interested in leaving a review until recently. Adam is awesome! I have gone to him twice already and he does amazing hair colour and haircuts! For years, I’ve always asked for a particular haircut (long hair and long layers) and most hairstylists are weary about doing it due to the difficulty of the haircut. They would question me and would always suggest something else. Most of the time I would walk out with uneven or bell-shaped haircuts that emphasized my round face even more. Not with Adam! He gave me exactly what I wanted, a precise, layered and even cut! Adam is also amazing with colour! I’ve been colouring my hair for a while now, and I never received so many compliments (including my boyfriend who barely notices hair) as I did with the hair colour Adam gave me! I think my Diva Salon location/hairdresser hopping has finally come to an end and I’m glad I finally now have a hairdresser I like and trust! Keep up the great job, Adam!

Cherrie is amazing, she's funny and super easy to talk to making the appointment such an enjoyable experience! She also is one of the first hairdressers to take the time to fully blow-dry and straighten my thick curly hair, and didn't once make me feel bad about how much work it is and was very thorough. The first time I went to her I came with clean dry straightened hair already and she insisted next time I come to let her wash it and style it so I could have the whole experience. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and I can't thank her enough for that. I just got my haircut yesterday but I'm counting down the days to my next appointment already! Thank you Cherrie for the confidence boost :) Best haircut and experience I've ever had.

I visited the salon on Wednesday, January 10. Shout out to ADAM, who gave me a beautiful blonde Color, highlights and lowlights. This was my first visit to the salon and to ADAM. I travel in my work and consequently have my hair done across the country, usually with a stylist that is new to me. ADAM took great care in making my experience a most positive one. My hair is beautiful, healthy, and quite magnificent!!! Thank you ADAM for your time and expertise. I will be back to see you again! All the best, Lisa MacDougall

Hala is a brilliant stylist and expert in color. I've had amazing haircuts and color from day one (and I change my hair a lot!) She is always open to new ideas and has amazing suggestions when I struggle to verbalize what I'm thinking. The day I met her, she stepped in to save the day when the stylist I was originally booked with was sick. I had an event to go to and was really disappointed to have my appt cancelled and Hala and the team made it work! Definitely went above and beyond to help me that day.

Shari is a gem! She cares about her ladies and their hair. She knows and feels the connection between confidence and hair. Three days later and I’m still smiling about the colour the cut and style! French Braids! Made me feel and look beautiful for Christmas! She’s the stylist you want if you want the full attention to detail.

I had a colour refresh today with Emmaline and I am so so happy with how it turned out! The colour is soft, blended, and is the perfect tone of dimensional blonde. I felt like a total princess walking out Cherrie was also very friendly, definitely a 10/10 experience from me!! …

The service of the hairstylist was very good, Mack took well care of my mother, she was very friendly, happy and well experienced. The reception service, on the other hand, was awful. The girl was very unhappy and cold. Sad to have to experience the reception service next time.

Maria has been tinting and waxing my eyebrows for months now. She is methodical, consistent and professional. I love the shape and color she has given my brows and she is so gentle, I never want the session to end. So happy I found her!

Cherrie has cut my hair a few times now and she has done an absolutely amazing job! The atmosphere and all the employees are so kind. Love getting my hair done here.
