I came in for a interview and the lady that assisted me with the interview process went on and on about how this practice was a speciality and how much I wouldn't like it bz it's so much blood "as if im not used to my job and seeing blood" but ok. Then she goes to tell me a 10plus yr dental assistant who's an experienced and fast learner fast paced (me) that I wouldn't like it so much . I went on to tell me blood doesn't bother me clearly I've been in this industry since 2011 She said she had to pay me $19 because I've never worked in a perio speciality office! $19 THEY WANT TO OVER WORK UNDER PAY AN EXPERIENCED LEVEL 2 ASSISTANT . UNACCEPTABLE. YOU CANNOT ASK FOR LEVEL AND THINK YOUR GOING TO PAY THEM $19 ! DISRESPECTFUL. YOU CAN ONLY PAY ENTRY LEVEL ASSISTANTS OUT OF SCHOOL LOW PAY BECAUSE THEY AREN'T EXPERIENCED. SHE TOLD ME (Chinese lady) SHE TRAINED THE OTHER TWO WOMEN WHOM WHERE ALREADY THEIR SO Y WOULDN'T YOU HIRE ME (AFRICAN AMERICAN) FEMALE THAT HAS EXPERIENCE Whom would catch on quickly to everything dentistry because I have experience in the field. I POSTED A REVIEW ABOUT EXPERIENCE ON INDEED AFTER INTERVIEW WITH HER , STATING EVERY DETAIL ABOUT HOW MY INTERVIEW WENT AND THEY DELETED MY REVIEW! I actually had everything they needed, she didn't want to hire a black girl in the office because I'm so smart and more knowledgeable I never got to tell them about my self and how much I loved dentistry and that I'm in school to be a hygienist now , because I was never asked.

Worst dental experience of my life and I'm a veteran so that's saying allot. Front desk workers are standoffish and short. I have been hung up on 2 or 3 times and haven't had more than 4 appointments with them. I was their only client at the time and they were clearly in a rush. Uncomfortable filling process, and zero communication. I also experienced an agressive and amteurish teeth cleaning. I expressed discomfort during the process and the assistants (Meg Batt) response is "hang in there" followed by a chuckle while Dr. Oscar Valle didn't change his approach or respond. Bottom line is there was no concern for my well-being. I called to get the names of who worked on me and who I spoke to didn't want to say, she even asked why I wanted to know but reluctantly gave up the names. This is my first negative review, and it would be a disservice to others if I didn't say something. I was already intent on switching dentist offices and this strengthened my resolve to do so. I regret giving them one last try. I do not recommend them to anyone and I have no intention of returning. This guy is a nightmare.

I managed to tear my gum at some point and it was not healing on its own and I was casually panicking about it. Began a search for periodontists in DC and and found that this is one of the few that does take insurance instead of just providing you a super bill and making you pay all costs up front. I called on a weekday morning and they were able to fit me in for a consultation the very next afternoon. When I arrived, the front desk staff was friendly and courteous and I was see quickly. The doctor advised that i would need a frenectomy (!!!) and gum graft and stated they could do the first immediately. I was thrilled since I would not have to go home to worry and then work another appointment into my schedule. The procedures were quick and everyone was very skilled. They were also able to accommodate my schedule changes as needed and were available to see me when I was worried about surgery sites healing correctly. I am happy to say I am a month post- gum graft and everything has healed perfectly and with no unattractive damage. EXTREMELY PLEASE with Dlight Dental and would highly recommend them.

I moved to Washington, DC from Atlanta in May 2023 where I had been seeing a very fine dentist for around 30 years. I wanted to find a similar practice here, one that I could rely on for routine care and for an occasional emergency if one should arrive. I'm pleased to say that I think Dlight Dental fits the bill. I discovered Dlight by rooting around NextDoor for recommendations. The reviews were positive and the location - within easy walking - was perfect for me. So I made a new patient appointment. Their facility was modern and immaculately clean. The front desk staff was welcoming and very professional. My hygienist Hilda was very friendly and did a thorough job with my X-rays and cleaning. And Dr. Valle was a pleasure to talk to and helped me to understand the next steps to take with my dental care. I could not be happier with my Dlight decision.

Dr. Li and her team are superstars. They make booking easy and take great care for safety during covid. The location is immaculate as well. Every strategy and procedure was shared with me in a way that I could understand to weigh my options- but Dr. Li is so honest and confident of her skills that she always makes me feel I’m in the best hands possible and trusting her recommendations because she has the patient’s best interests at heart. She is also gentle and the work is relatively painless/ she puts the patient at ease and guides them through the process so feeling relaxed and calm goes without saying. She is also easily accessible in the event of an emergency. Pricing is also fair and honest- and the work is superb. Grateful to have found such a wonderful group of the best doctors and technicians in the business.

This place is the best dental center I have attended. Jhony and the other lady are super friendly the moment one arrives and they help you a lot. Dr. Cheol is super careful and his assistant Mirla is the sweetest, I am very nervous and she gives me a lot of confidence. They are all A1 +++++++++. I have now received 4 different invoices for one visit, all of different amounts. The staff really needs to get their act together and accept some responsibility for their lack of organization. Also, I felt like the operation is a little budget. Patients are lined up in a single room. You can hear everything going on in the chair next to you. Update: The dentist at Dlight had wanted to “fix” a cavity in between my teeth that would require a somewhat invasive procedure. Thankfully I declined. My new dentist let me know that he was wrong to suggest such a thing as it would have caused more harm than good and that it isn’t even a cavity. Please be careful and ask questions!

Honestly I’m just a bit frustrated. The customer service was great don’t get me wrong but the work is… hmm I can’t even think of the right word to use right note. I’ve gone back twice now for my issue to be fixed an it still hasn’t. I cracked my tooth when I was younger An soo I needed to get it redone after having it for over 10 years that’s how long it lasted from me getting it done years ago. An in less than a month I’m going back for delight dental to fix it twice? An now it’s been 2 months an it has already broken off an chipped in the back again. Soo at this point I’ll just take my business elsewhere to another dentist to fix my tooth.

I came here because they accepted my dental insurance. They were super nice and explained to me the procedure and took time to answer my questions. They also gave me a cleaning when I came in for a consultation for a gum graft. The gum graft was an hour and they were so nice to me, I was so nervous and the Doctor held my hand to comfort me. They talked to me during the procedure and made me so comfortable during an uncomfortable procedure. I totally recommend Dr. Li for a gum graft or any kind of procedure. Also a tip: you have to ask the receptionist at the lobby to help you get to the 4th floor

Went one time for a check-up. Was extremely rushed and got no info from the actual dentist - just a breakdown of costs and what I needed from reception. Got a second opinion from a friend’s dentist and went with them due to drastic cost differences (Dlight said I needed all of my wisdom teeth out, this one said that wasn’t at all necessary). Even after letting them know I went with a different dentist, I keep getting calls that it’s “time for a cleaning”. I have informed them each time that I am not a patient of theirs and have found another office but to no avail.

By far the best dental experience I have ever had. I had a lot of work done here - extraction, implant, cleaning, fillings etc. and for someone who is usually afraid of the dentist they made me comfortable throughout the year. I recommended this place to a close friend and he had the same experience. I had to move out of state otherwise this would be my dental office for life. I’m very lucky to have come across the people at this office. If I could give this place 100 stars I would.

Best dentist office in town! I called with a painful toothache with not expectation to come in the same day. I was scheduled within the same hour and they took the time to do the tooth extraction on the same day (with a completely booked schedule) at my request. I was walked through every step of the process and truly felt value. The staff was amazing from start to finish and very thoughtful in their interactions with me. The office space was nice and clean and the staff was very pleasant and attentive. What did concern was that I expressed that I was having pain in one of my teeth and they did indeed confirm there was a cavity but the decision was made to let me endure the pain until my next visit. I did not understand why that decision was made nor did it make sense to me. I think I will be watching these type of issues closely to determine if this is the office for me.

I've been going to Dlight Dental for two years now, and recommend it to everyone I know. They are professional, courteous, and communicative. Everyone on staff is pleasant, my appointments always start on time, and the facility is clean. I had to have a gum graft done last year; the procedure was painless, they were transparent about costs, and I healed up perfectly. You will not regret coming here.

Dr. Lee and her staff were extremely communicative, supportive, and helpful while I had to deal with my dental complications. Her team went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of, including taking my materials to another dental practice and keeping me informed while all of the moving parts of my case came together (even well after normal business hours). DLight Dental is intentionally top notch and actually do deserve 5 stars — unbeatable quality, all the best technology, friendly cheerful expert staff, and impeccably clean. I just feel like they care about doing the best possible job and wanting me to be happy and comfortable. Their main dentist Oscar is super pro and even signed up for classes at my drum school… Meg will try to make you laugh.

Dr. Valle-Cintron is an excellent dentist. He takes the time to explain every procedure he does. He also does the cleanings himself. Little to no wait time and staff is very friendly. I am currently doing Invisalign and will be a loyal patient from now on. He is a professional and I would recommend Dr. Valle-Cintron to everyone. He is the best dentist I have ever had. He also speaks Spanish.

I had a dental emergency while staying in a nearby hotel. Everyone was cheerful and helpful and I was worked into the schedule. Dr. Valle explained what was going on with my tooth and what needed to be done in order to stabilize the situation. He was very thorough, efficient and gentle. While I'm not planning to have another dental emergency in DC, if I do, I'm going to Dlight Dental!

It took a long time to find a good dentist in DC but Dlight Dental was worth the search. I’ve had several cleanings and 2 minor procedures done here and I am always happy with the doctors’ attention to detail, respect for my comfort and efficiency.
