"This is a baseball park primarily sponsored by the little league"
"Beautiful and expansive baseball and softball fields"
"Noice, this park is kind of a whole in the wall"
"Wow this park is huge!! There’s so much to do here"
"I actually went here to fly my remote control airplane there's a lot of open space to do this there if that's what you're into otherwise the skate park seemed really cool I didn't and won't do it because I'm a lot older nowadays and out heel as quick as these youngsters do but I'll tell you what if you're into that kind of stuff it's a great place to go they've done a great job with the upkeep and it's a clean environment"
This is a baseball park primarily sponsored by the little league. Adult softball leagues also reserve playtime. It is one of the parks built into the flood reservoir system. As part of the Neon to Nature program the Lone Mountain Trail passes through the park. They have a very large parking lot to accommodate events such as the playoffs. There are multiple restrooms available and concession stands that operate on extremely limited basis. There is a playground area, two picnic areas, a skatepark and a BMX park attached to each other by a long rail trail. You can walk your dog along the sidewalks between the fields and the parking lot. This park does not have dog specific areas.
Playground
There is a large playground between the upper park and the skatepark adjacent to a picnic area.
Restrooms
The upper park has a single port-a-potty, the north edge of the main park has a small bathroom and the middle near the skate park has a full sized bathroom accommodating six people.
Dog-friendliness
This is primarily a baseball park and dogs should not be on the fields. There are three dog parks within two miles of Doc Romeo however.
Picnic area
There are two picnic areas each with a single canopy covering multiple tables. They do not have barbeque equipment however.
Beautiful and expansive baseball and softball fields. Very well manicured grounds with plenty of play spaces for kids between fields, covered picnic tables and restrooms and lots of parking. Heads up: allow for extra time if you’re playing or watching a softball game here and haven’t been before. There are LOTS of fields at this site and a large parking lot. Find your field and then park, unless you want to walk from one side of the parking lot, to the complete other side of the fields (I say this from experience). Otherwise great place to play games. Though there are a few little holes in the outfields.
Noice, this park is kind of a whole in the wall. Mostly due to the other nice parks nearby getting all of the attention. Most of the time when I go here the place is empty. The skatepark is the only area that sees a lot of action. Speaking of which it is pretty average, but disconnected from the main skatepark is a deep bowl for more experienced skaters. It is pretty cool that so much effort went into this project, I wish I could give it some business as I never see anyone using it.
Wow this park is huge!! There’s so much to do here. They have a baseball field, tennis courts, kids playgrounds, walking trails, skate park, picnic benches etc. Beautiful place. Went for a walk with my kids and hubby the other day and it was a lengthy walk but man was it worth it.
Restrooms
Bathrooms were open, fully functioning, they also had tp, and soap and sanitizer only thing that didn’t work was the air dryer.
I actually went here to fly my remote control airplane there's a lot of open space to do this there if that's what you're into otherwise the skate park seemed really cool I didn't and won't do it because I'm a lot older nowadays and out heel as quick as these youngsters do but I'll tell you what if you're into that kind of stuff it's a great place to go they've done a great job with the upkeep and it's a clean environment
The doc Romeo parks are in packable condition. We went there for baseball tryouts of kids between 7 and 10 years old. We were impressed with the amount of children that showed up easily over 150 children. 20 strikeouts we made a lot of parents and coaches that have been involved in the baseball arena for quite a while, confidence of every children getting somewhere is pretty high.
I have spent the last 5 years at this park on a weekly basis. It has been a second home during baseball. The fields are well maintained. There is a skate park and a walking trail for those with other interests. Plenty of parking. My only request would be for the City to spend some money on tenting between the fields to help protect the fans during the games from foul balls.
Had to poop on a 4 mile walk. No south end toilet, just a porta-potty (unoccupied, locked) and toilets (by skate pool) were locked mid afternoon. Walked another 1/4 mile to next toilet and it was occupied (waited 15 mins), got fed up and left. WTF were they doing in there?! Finally had to walk all the way to Rainbow Library to use their johns. Seriously, folks.
Nice park for those into sports. Small in size. Not enough attraction for some of us whoay not be a fan of sports but just want a scenic park to walk. Has like three or more baseball arenas and a skate board skating zone that looks like it will hurt real bad it you fall. Overall, it's a quite, nice neighborhood park.
It's got multiple baseball fields, a playground, a large skatepark, and lots of grass along the walk. My dog loves it here. Also near other fields and part of Lone Mountain Trail. Not 5 stars because lots of debris in the adjacentb flood channel, some graffiti, and trash can pile up after baseball tourneys.
Field 8 is a nice place for a baseball tournament. There is ample parking, a gazebo and space for teams to warm up. The one downer is there is no permanent toilet structure. There was one port-a-potty on site. Other bathrooms were a long walk or short drive away on the other side of the park.
We visited for a baseball tournament. The location is great. The fields were well groomed. They have netting between fields to protect you from foul balls. The bleachers were nice and you could see well. Only complaint was the bathrooms. They were poorly maintained, stinky, and gross.
Shade is very limited, shade parachutes missing, and could also be doubled up. Lots of bees, so when you buy a beverage, guaranteed a bee will end up in your drink. Bathrooms, however, are very clean! The people that run the snack shack are awesome, and prices are great ! …
I actually love this park and the large size of it's features but this can definitely be an intimidating park for even certain intermediate skaters. The large bowls are built really well but it's built in a hill so there's definitely a difference when going down vs uphill
I love when we have tournaments at this park. Restrooms are always clean and have soap so that’s a huge plus in my book. Baseball fields are kept and good size for tournaments. Have never had problems with anything there. Decent area as well.
Clean fields, well-maintained, but it sure is a trek to get from the parking lot down to the fields. It's not very well marked how to get from the main road to the nearest parking lot to avoid walking down the steep steps to the main fields.
It’s a good park to play baseball or softball on. Skate Park and some minor playground areas but mainly suited and well for baseball or softball. If it had a looping walking trail it would be the perfect park.
Really in enjoyed the skate just wish it was a little further away from the baseball field. Went we were there a baseball came flying into the park almost hitting someone. But other then that is was very good
This park isn't much if you aren't going for ball fields or the skate park. Not much for convenient restrooms. 1 building in the middle of a long stretch of park. Softball league organizers aren't competent.
They let the trees die off and have not replaced them. Some desert shade trees would be much better for spectators since they get full sun. Good thing it's only 92° today. Look how sad it looks here.
This park is a fitting tribute to a man of the finest kind. There are a lot of old timers in the valley who regained consciousness in the face of Doc Romeo. Thanks to the grounds keepers...Play ball!
Big nice area. Didnt even know it existed and I've been living nearby for a year. Baseball fields and a playground. Even has a skate park. Looks clean and Maintained pretty well. Lots of parking.
This park has it all from we'll kept ball fields to skate parks and multiple children's play areas.. very large park so walking and seeing new things will help to keep mind off of work out ...
I can’t comment on any other facilities here other than the skatepark. The skatepark however is phenomenal for the most part. Some transactions are a little wack but the bowl is superb.
Nicely pampered baseball fields, clean facilities. 4 stars due to local homeless (sometimes) being spotted near restrooms. Always stay with your children when going to the restroom.
These park is very much hidden. There are two entrances, one off of Cheyenne and the other off of Tenaya(Peak). It has about 8 baseball fields, a skate park and some picnic area.
Its a good play ground and. A scake park and a good ball park as well .very nice rest rooms to in the middle of the ball park as well . Pinkey Rose …
I play in a softball league here and the park is well maintained only reason for the 4 star and not 5 is the bathrooms are so far away from the 3 adult softball fields.
The bathroom doors have missing or broken lock and the park goers are not the most savory of people. I use extreme caution unless it is peak baseball/softball season.
Pretty nice ball park next to a gated community. Google maps had a couple improvements to make in the directions. Lots of sidewalks for walking and public restrooms.
Love playing out here. Great fields. Infield dirt a bit hard, but in this desert sun that's the norm. Restrooms are a far walk from some fields. Still a great spot.
Great park for baseball. Watch out for foul mouthed skater kids/adults whose voices sometimes carry to the field. Call the park marshal if it gets out of hand.
My daughter practices softball here. Great park, always clean, has a skate park and play area for the younger ones, bathrooms as well. Easy to get to.
Nice park all around. Very clean and great place for the whole family to enjoy not to mention there's Americas past time sport called BASEBALL!!!!!!!
The dopest thing Vegas has to offer! Although my brother lost three of his teeth to the larger vert wall it was well worth the visit. So much fun
Decent park. Kids are kind of bad sometimes but it's this way anywhere you go these days. Can't expect much more from a park with skate parks...
I usually just bicycle through the park and stop for water, but there is a cool looking bike park and a ton of baseball/softball diamonds!
Cool park for skates but lights shut off at 11. Police car always in the parking lot. Just in case people are having too much fun. …
Beautifully maintained park with lots of gorgeous trees and pavilions. There are plenty of grassy fields and several baseball diamonds.
Great skate park, needs more shade for sure. Enjoyed the size of the bowl and different transfer spots. Will come again, from Reno,NV.
We are here every Saturday and Its always clean and the staff that manage the park are very helpful when unloading tarp, ice chest etc.
Great Park with multiple baseball fields, a playground, and skate/BMX area. Park was well kept and clean. We will definitely be back
I love this ball field! Great place for the kids to play baseball! Nice grounds, multiple fields, good parking, clean bathrooms.
Solid place to walk the dog but usually very crowded for games. Not a bunch of distancing which is cause for mild concern...
Enjoyed watching my grandson play in his championship game last night and was so proud of his Red Sox team when they won!!!
Great sports park with lots of diamonds, clean and kept up. Great playground for kids and the bathrooms actually have soap.
It's a nice clean park. You can people watch, lounge on the lawn and enjoy a picnic. Sometimes there is music in the park.
The park is nice, but they need to clean the bleachers where the kids play ball. Red dirt everywhere. Great park though
I ride bmx and doc Romeo aka pro to us is the best park it can be packed at times but other than that it's a great park
Small, but quiet park. I drive a bus and frequently stop for a short break. Wish I saw a restroom, but I may be wrong.
A ton of baseball fields and a cool skatepark that I broke my foot at years ago it's a nice place for all ages. …
Multiple baseball fields and skate park
Playground
Child friendly
Picnic area
Area for smaller groups
Big park a playground close to fields and away from main Street. Perfect so you can play ball and watch kids
Nice park but they have to do something about the red dirt on the fields that tear up legs when you slide
Took the dogs here tho its not a dog park, we were able to run a play. Clean, quiet and good location.
The fields we played on need serious work. Also, the bathrooms are disgusting. But… We won! Go GBG!
I wouldn't come out this far just for Doc Romeo but it was decent for what it was. Mostly bowls...
Good spot for little league baseball and a small skate park. These bowls are very worthwhile......
Updated. They now have bat racks and the dugout they're infield and outfield are well maintained.
They should rename it "Doc Romeo Void Park". I might like you better if we took a nap together.
Great place to watch a Soft Ball or Baseball game. Needs a little maintenance.. restroom area.
Solid skate park more so for bmx & scooters. Not much for lower skill levels on skateboards.
Very nice park but they wouldn't turn the lights on on the field we reserved for some reason
Beautiful park!!!!My grandson played baseball here.Very comfortable place to watch him play.
Meh. The rails throughout the park are fun but the bowls make no sense for skateboarders
Large park with baseball fields, green areas and skate parks. Lighting is nice as well.
Clean... 2 Awesome skate parks.. my son is learning and he loved this highly recommend
Nice park. My son plays baseball there. I just wish they had a concession stand.
It's really nice for baseball. Fields are well maintained and parking is great
Excellent baseball park and walking trails that is well lot and feels safe
Good park for baseball, they need to water the grass on the field.
Nice, quiet, and clean park. We play baseball here on Sundays
Great experience ,nice atmosphere, clean and friendly park
Needs some attention but is better than your back yard!!
Nice, peaceful desert surrounding. Clean & smooth area.
Nice park and ball fields.
Nice big clean park.
