Wow, a couple of really nasty reviews a week or so ago - looks like it could be from the same person. I guess they're looking for a dreadful "Walmart" type experience which you just won't find here. Their reviews tell me more about them than the service Pat offers. It's a great little shop with everything you could ever possibly need for your pet and who wouldn't want to support their local business? Pat is wonderful and goes above and beyond to be helpful. I've been supporting Doggywood for years and have never had a problem of any sort. It's a boon to the neighbourhood to have this store so close at hand. Keep doing what you're doing, Pat. You have lots of faithful followers.

A very eclectic store with an incredible variety of animal merchandise. Parking in the rear of the store makes it convenient to shop there. Highly recommend if you're looking for something unique for your pet or a gift that stands out from the rest. Pat, the lovely owner was very helpful and resourceful. A big thank you for your generous cat/dog food donation to help a small town animal shelter! It may be a small store but it has a very big heart and I'm sure anything you're looking for you will find there and more.

Not recommended: extremely poorly lit (half of lights were burnt out), no rhyme or reason to the positioning of merchandise, cluttered positioning of merchandise, grungy feeling (the front railing had rotted out, for instance), inadequate clearance between shelves (I needed to walk sideways between adjacent aisles), not really a friendly atmosphere (person on staff wasn’t really polite or friendly), cannot comment with regards to pricing. Basically: an extremely poor experience.

Such a cute, charming little shop packed with goodies galore. Some other reviews say it is untidy or "claustrophobic" but I think it's quirky and fun... To each their own I guess. There is a huge of variety of treats (a large amount of which seem to be smaller or indy brands) and knickknacks at pretty reasonable pricing. The owner is super sweet and my pup is always so excited to stop in for a visit.

I got a birthday cake for my fur baby, it looked so good that I was tempted of taking a bite!!! The store is full with pet products from floor to ceiling. It has a great variety of treats, food, accessories, toys etc... Pat was very helpful, friendly and sociable. I would recommend Doggywood to all my friends.

Wonderful and easy process from beginning to end. My 10 year old phoned and ordered the cake and picked it up and the customer service was top notch. The cake was ADORABLE and smelled surprisingly tasty! Both pups are very choosy eaters and they nearly polished it off! Thank you Doggywood!

Very unique pet store in Calgary. Not just pet food and supplies but also some of the best selections of cards and giftware for the pet parent in your life. Pat also has an in-store bakery with order-ahead dog cakes available. Many Canadian made products as well.

I love doggywood! It’s a tiny store and looks overwhelming when you walk in. And shopping experiencing at doggywood is like looking for a treasure. Bonus is that they carry very unique items that other franchised pet stores do not have.

The owner makes an exquisite cake for my dog’s birthday. I had to tell her how fussy my dog is with the pet store treats, she was so patiently to write down all my requests, and it turned out my dog loves it. Highly recommend this place

The woman who worked here was extremely friendly, and they had a ton of selection. It was a little bit cluttered, bur it wasn't too hard to find what i was looking for.

Very cool little store with lots of interesting treats and items for your pets! I stopped in around Christmas time to stock up on treats for my dog and she loved them.
