"As an artbook dealer I can say that this is one of the best rare artbook shops in the world"
Unfortunately the owner is very unpleasant. The door was open, I walked in, he barked at me that they were closed. I said that I was sorry but I wasn't aware, he said that (for reasons that are unclear to me) it was obvious that they were shut. Unfortunate as I used to be a regular customer supporting small business. The selection is interesting, however it's also very pricey, and this kind of treatment can be a good reason to buy online for a fraction of the price asked in store.
An eclectic, but well-curated book store that offers magazines, fiction and non-fiction, plus fine-art books and magazines - many of which are collectibles. Take time to browse the shelves in the small store - there are some surprising discoveries not available at your typical book seller.
A fabulous little bookshop, perfect for those with a penchant for socialist texts, or non-fiction in general. I managed to find two books that I had been trying (and failing) to find in multiple other stores (Poor by Caleb Femi and The Utopians by Anna Neima).
Terrifyingly edgy, in the best possible way. I've found loads of fascinating books here I would never have found anywhere else. Anyone interested in art, culture or any combination of it should come here and get something.
As an artbook dealer I can say that this is one of the best rare artbook shops in the world. The space is not too big but the content is endless. Beautiful books tucked away in every corner.
Not sure what the deal with the person at the counter was but he was rude to the point that i put my purchases down and walked out. Won't go back as his attitude was awful.
I wasn't expecting such an interesting selection, and ended up walking away with something I wouldn't usually choose. Thanks for introducing me to new authors!
A selection of catagories which appear less often in most other books Ive experienced in London. Always experienced the staff to be friendly.
Possibly the largest Japanese photo book depot besides London Photographer's Gallery. If you can't find a foreign book you need, just ask ;)
Really interesting little bookshop with an eclectic and sometimes esoteric stock. Owner is friendly, approachable and knowledgeable.
Bought a few gifts for my boyfriend here- its really excellent, and customer service was top notch. would recommend!
Excellent selection of books on philosophy, London, art, music. Super nice people. Highly recommended five ****
Gorgeous bookshop with a fantastic range covering music, design, queer studies, architecture, novels and more.
great selection! they definitely need more space, and could get even edgier with their book selection.
Pretty bookshop in an amazing area with an original collection of novels, essays and photography books
Hands down the best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had. Can't wait for next Saturday to get another.
Wonderful eclectic collection with a mix of fundamental works alongside small independent presses.
Historical archives there, at Donlon you can find books you will never find anywhere!
fascinating curation - I could browse here for hours - also the space is lovely
A perfect book shop; some rare finds here, esp re music, queer lit and art
Plenty of bookshops round here to render Amazon daft and old-fashioned.
Fascinating little library. Originally and cleverly curated,
