This is my local place that I've been going to for 3 years. That ended today and I will not eat in this place ever again... We ordered some food and coffee and the guy said that it will take some time for the food, around 20 mins. We said that's fine and took to our table. After 20 mins we still hadn't even received coffee, a gentle reminder had our coffees with us after 25 mins. 45 minutes in we still had not received our food so my friend (who is quite frankly the nicest person in the world and wouldn't say a rude word to anyone) approached the kitchen and said to the girl "excuse me, could you advise us when we can expect our food because I have an appointment soon" The next thing we know, the guy slams our money on the table, I ask "what's this?" and he says its our refund that we asked for because we have to go. Obviously I said we did not ask for a refund, and he just walked away from me like a spoilt child while I was explaining what we had politely asked. I then got up from the table and went over to find out what the hell was going on and neither of them showed any interest in listening to me, and looked away most of the time just hoping I would go away. We had wasted an hour of our time. We left hungry, and totally pissed off at the way the staff had treated us. Rude and incompetent staff like this do not seem to realise how experiences like this can ruin your day. The people here used to be so friendly when I first started eating here. It's such a shame they now employ rude, inept staff not fit for the job. I will NEVER set foot in here again and I advise you not to either. Go to Jim's Cafe, Venetia's, Pivaz or Bernstein's for much better food and service.

Just discovered this place, what a gem! They have fresh falafel wraps, one of the best I've had in London! Perfect balance of flavours and texture. I ate one and immediately had to order another wrap because it was so good. They also have a lunch menu that change each day that I will have to go back for! Very reasonably priced too.

Lovely place for some good coffee and a snack! It's quiet and peaceful in the morning, ideal for journaling or getting work done. If you are more into the buzzy social atmosphere, come around lunch time and try their falafel! I wish they had a couple of gf pastry options, but it's not a deal breaker :)

Lovely bread and coffee, really nice sandwiches and when they have falafels it`s very tasty HOWEVER, every time I go I find them very rude - almost mean. It always feels like you are annoying them and it pisses them off to serve you or to make a coffee. I thought it was a one off or they were stressed but this happens literally every time I go there, and I go very often as i live just next by. It's a shame to have great produces but such a 'mean' service.

Would avoid for crepes. Waay below average, we were barely served, no utensils, crepes were dropped, touched with Nutella on hands even though we said there is a nut allergy. Was shocked to find out the price is £8.50, and it tasted like rubber. If you want a proper galette, just go down the road to Le Merlin and get served, and eat something amazing for the same price. Giving 2 stars only because the bread looked good and is probably worth trying.

A gorgeous little spot for a coffee with delicious cakes and a really great selection of sandwiches, toasties, bagels and loads more. Couldn’t recommend the organge and polenta cake more if I tried. Fabulous coffee and a cosy, vibrant atmosphere. Friendly staff and quick service. A great place for lunch or a quick bite.

Always great coffee and the wraps are delicious. Slight mistake made with my order, but they corrected it instantly and gave me my coffee for free, without even asking. Great place, I usually come here on my non packed lunch days- this is for sure my go to place in Homerton now.

Love this place! They do the best coffee in London period. Yeah sure they do not have a huge selection on the menu but whatever they serve up is delicious. And the staff are really lovely and friendly so I’m not sure what all the nonsense reviews are about. Love my little local ☯️

  • Yoshi SBX

Great little local spot for bakes, cakes & all kinds of drinks i.e. tea, coffee, etc. My favourite things to get are their soups of the day & their amazing hot chocolate.

I love this place. This is probably the best address to get coffee, food and breakfast on the road. I’m often working from home, and I usually come here to grab a coffee and get delicious falafel. The staff are really kind with customers especially the French Lady !

  • Rebecca Cotton

I have been going here for years and always had great service and food but I was terribly disappointed in the service today the blonde lady serving was so rude and moody I felt so uncomfortable I had to leave. Will unfortunately probably not go back now.

  • Kester Muller

Exceptional falafel, very relaxed atmosphere. Shame about the disposable plastic cups and straws, feels a bit lazy nowadays. Just do some washing up, guys! I don't want to be made complicit in generating plastic waste that will outlive me.

  • Jen Butt

Cosy local bakery with amazing (unintentionally) vegan brunch option for £5. Delicious sourdough loaves and other baked treats for sale too. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait - the place is small, but its worth it. Free wifi!

  • Ion Manolache

The best best best Falafel salad I have had in London! The staff is super nice and friendly! And they have amazing carrot cakes that are big and yummy and only costs £2,80 a piece! Makes you smile! Best place! …

  • Emma Pickle

Such patient staff who tolerated my futile attempts to pay with my phone. Thank you so much for your kindness, and to the gentleman who offered to pay for my lunch. Falafel wrap tasted even more amazing!

  • Marta Walters

The chef was pretentious.. My bacon was burnt to cinders, the salad bitter, and my eggs runny (even though I informed them I can't have uncooked egg). The coffee was good though so I'd recommend that.

  • Anaïs Zam

One of my favorite place in Homerton, the food and coffee are great and the staff is lovely. The french lady is always very smiling and when I leave the place I am in a positive mood for the day.

  • Tean Roberts

This place has gone wildly downhill. Staff are super rude and kind of mean - seems like they hate their customers. Croissants are hard and bready. Was super disappointed as it used to be nice.

  • Angie Laviolette

Awful service! A blonde lady was serving me. I found her very rude and arrogant. She was chewing mouth open and wasn't really bothered about offering a good quality service.

  • Aviv Lavi

Surprising fresh and incredible Falafel conducted by Abu-Ali. Great atmosphere outside. Very different to most Falafel stands in London. Fresh, friendly and fantastic.

  • Daline Birdy

Worst coffee, croissant and service ever. The croissant tasted horrible, the waitress said it was from a different supplier and charged me anyway.

  • Paul Spong

I asked and they changed the music. From boom boom grrr to some beautiful French music, made day. Enjoyed their lovely fresh farm eggs. Thanks

  • Alba Aponte Muñoz

Not bad local café. Pastries and cake aren't the most ultimate quality but still decent. Prices are correct. Coffee and tea is ok.

  • Nejc Haberman

Great breakfast place and they also serve falafels during lunch hours. Try their falafel plate for £5!

  • No Name

They sold me duff croissants that were about raw in the middle. Inexcusable for the price. Bad baking.

  • Gen Abiru

Good food and service with nice atmosphere in the place but the coffee they served were really bad

  • Anna Mennella

Cold croissant, maybe from the day before, surly waitress, poor cappuccino. Not recommended

  • Harriet May

Freshly baked croissants and breads, this is a popular breakfast and coffee spot.
