Review specific to our experience here getting our 3 yo a covid booster. The first time we came was after calling to confirm if they had doses and being told yes. We showed up from across Brooklyn only to find out they screwed up and didn’t have them yet. Then we called over the following weekend and asked about our specific vaccine and were told they had it and the pharmacy opened at 9 am this morning. Well we showed up at 9 AM and doors were still closed. When they opened at 905 we were told pharmacist wasn’t here yet and they didn’t show until 945 - we waited that whole time. At which point I asked to confirm if they had the brand we wanted and were told yes. Filled out all the paperwork, brought my kid up, and was told they actually didn’t have that one. And what’s worse, they tried to offer us the other brand which hasn’t even been approved by CDC for mixing for under 5s!!! Went down to Neergaard at Park Slope and got everything done quickly and easily.

I love this pharmacy. I don’t write reviews often but this place deserves 10 stars! The pharmacist is absolutely amazing human being with a big heart! When my insurance decided not to pay for my medication he gave me my medication for the same price he gets. And i am very grateful!!! because he knew i was tight on money that month. He is very sweet and understanding!!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Im a customer for life!!

This is the right pharmacy to get your COVID and Flu vaccinations. Forget about CVS, Rite-Aid and Walgreens - the lines, the cancelations, the attitudes are just not worth it. At Downtown RX, I just walked in, filled in a couple of forms and got vaccinated - it took less than 10 minutes. Everyone was polite and respectful. No attitudes here. Downtown RX is now my go-to drugstore. I'm done with the big pharmacies.

After an extensive online search for appointments for the Covid booster shot, most of which required two week wait period, I was reminded of this new pharmacy a 5min walk away. The team was responsive when I had questions prior to my arrival. Wonderful and friendly walk-in experience. Will definitely come back for other medical needs. Support the local neighborhood store, you won't regret it!

Amazing pharmacy I use to go to cvs, then transferred to a nearby rite aid, both made me wait so long for my prescription and it was such a headache to get a vaccine , then this pharmacy opened up near by and they are so wholesome and inviting no waits walk in vaccinations free home delivery, they make fresh organic juices, honestly amazing thank you guys

Really nice and helpful staff! Unfortunately, the covid gov site has them listed for vaccines Moderna (age under 6). The actual age that this location provides is 3-5. This is not the fault of the pharmacist or Downtown RX Pharmacy. So please be understanding!

The downtown RX was a great pharmacist when Omar was there. Since Omar has left and Jay is now the pharmacist. It's been one problem after another. I think it's time for me to find another pharmacist. Very disappointed.

My walk in Bivalent vaccination took no more than 15 minutes. Staff were very friendly and the paperwork was quick. A much better experience than having to get an appointment with a more corporate Pharmacy.

Traveled across town for a vaccine they said they offered over the phone but didn’t. I called and said my child is 2, can you provide Moderna, and was told yes. Perhaps someone wasn’t listening closely.

By far the best pharmacy in this part of Brooklyn. Very professional, very efficient. Reminds us what’s lost when we’re (nearly) left with only ‘big box’ drugstores. A gem we need to help keep around!

Omar was awesome, but now it’s a new pharmacist and staff. So many problems. They never open on time. They are closed on Sundays. Annoyed that I have to find a new pharmacy.

Got our boys who are 4.5years old their covid shots here. They are so good with it! Nurse made it such a quick visit. Great place!!!
