I'd be an inconsiderate and evil individual if I didn't post my review. I pray that this reaches someone who may really need to read this before its too late. I wish that I had taken the time to read the reviews on Dr. Nosheen Rashid before consulting her. Anyways, I had visited her for a checkup as I had been experiencing menstrual irregularities since my teenage years and though my case hadn't been severe, I decided that it was time that I went for a 'general check-up'. This had been my first experience visiting a gynae and it has been the worst experience ever. I left her room feeling emotionally, mentally and physically disturbed. I questioned a lot and couldn't understand how this could be happening to me as any other woman would in such an instance. Several issues were presented before me by Dr. Nosheen i.e endometriosis, a cervix ulcer, fluids etc. Traumatised as I was, she tried talking me into surgery in the next couple of days. I was shocked by how little time I had to make a decision and somehow felt rushed into making the decision. I decided to be firm and told her that I had to speak to my family first. There are additional things I felt were inappropriate and private which I will not mention here but contributed to my emotional state. As some of the reviews had already stated, she is very invasive and I somehow felt judged by her because I wasn't considering having children outside of wedlock. Culturally, I'd say that we are different. To cut a long story short, I opted for a second opinion and thats where I learnt that what Dr. Nosheen presented to me was false. A FALSE DIAGNOSIS ! No endometriosis, no fluids, no cervix ulcer. And while I kept asking the gynae to check again, absolutely nothing was found. By the way I had asked for tests and scans from Dr. Rashids office which were NEVER provided. There is absolutely no way that I could keep this to myself without warning other women. I really pray that this review lands on any woman faced with a big decision to make whether its concerning your health or your baby's health and apologize to those who may have experienced an injustice at the hands of this doctor. SECOND OPINIONS ARE TO BE CONSIDERED.

Zero star. The worst Dr. I almost aborted my baby, according to her Interpretation I had silent miscarriage and I was 12 weeks Pregnant(meanwhile I knew very well I was not that far according to my cycle monitoring). Everything was just a RUSH, Rush and I was given a form to fill in so I I can be at Theatre for cleaning. It was on Friday when I saw her after doing numerous HCG blood tests. On a Monday when I was supposed to go theater, my guts told me I need to see another doctor beacuse her pregnancy estimation were not making sense and that she can't see the baby, HCG are not doubling up. So I decided to see another Gyna on the Monday I was supposed to flush away our baby. Arriving at another Gyna, I just pretended to be seeing a Gyna for the first time after pregnancy discovery. The Gyna did the sonar checks and told me I am 7 weeks pregnant (exactly according to my estimations on cycle monitoring). I heard the baby heartbeat. Taken for routine blood checks. Fast forward I am now on third trimester with a healthy baby and no complications so far. I had a terrible emotional experience with this Dr and I will never recommend her to any soul. All she does is rush rush, Dr are not God and I felt like she should have reexamined me properly and give me chance to wait to miscarry naturally instead of rushing me to theater in order to claim medical bucks(only saw me on Friday and recommended theatre on Monday, I was like I'm not going there until I confirm) . I thank God for wonderful protection and I'm still in a shock of life as I'm writing this.

I searched on the internet for gynaecologist around my area. I came across a few and started calling... When I called Dr Rashid's rooms the warmth received from Jason was overwhelming. I knew at that moment I had found thee perfect place where I was made to feel like part of the family. My pregnancy journey was therefore elevated to an amazing journey with the care received from the team. The team takes pride in their work and they have all the patience to deal with us mommies to be in the most exciting and pleasant manner. DO NOT USE DR RASHID. No thorough checks and tests were done. She confused me with other patients. I had a very traumatic and painful experience as a first time mother. At 23 weeks I went into early labour and Dr Rashid was nowhere to be found. Sadly, I lost my baby. The next day when she finally showed up, no examination was done to make sure I was okay. To top everything off, this doctor had the audacity to claim from my medical aid when she wasn't present for the delivery! I made sure my medical aid flagged her on their records. I had to see a different gynae to make sure I wasn't hemorrhaging. When I told my new gynae what had happened, she was shocked and said a progesterone injection should've been given to me. But Dr Rashid did not attend to my emergency at all! As if bleeding in the second trimester isn't an emergency! I am still having to deal with the heartache and pain of losing my baby. Be very careful ladies. I wish I had gone with my gut and switched doctors in the start.

Most horrible experience of my life. When I phoned to enquire about pricing I was told that it includes check-up as well as any medication or medicine that the doctor would prescribe. Only to find out when I arrived at the place that they had had a price increase and the medicine I am supposed to get is not included in the ridiculous price and that I have to go and buy it! The doctor only saw me for 5 minutes and was also impatient and hurt me while inserting the camera inside me. Wish I never went here in the first place. This is the the second time I'm writing this to point out that due to me posting a bad review, the "doctor" and her reception has been bothering me and phoning me from private numbers with a problem with my review. I personally think the only reason she has a 3.6 star rating is due to the fact that there are so many people that are forced to rate one star in order to post a review.

This is by far the worst Gynae / Doctor that I have ever encountered in my life! After waiting over an hour to see her and having to deal with her unprofessional staff I finally went in to see the doctor. One of the very first questions she asked me was which medical aid was I on. She was extremely rushed, insensitive and brought me to tears. I paid R1700 for a 5 minute "consult". She told me that I would not be able to fall pregnant seeing that I had a growth on my uterus and that she had to perform an urgent operation on me to remove it. I was terrified. She then said she needed to give me quotes for the operation. It is all about money with her. Fast forward I practically ran out of there and had a proper consult with proper Gynae. I am now pregnant with my first and I am so glad that I did not listen to her false information! Poor excuse of a doctor!

Dr Rashid needs to address her customer service skills. If a patient calls to fix an issue and then the Dr switches off and reply's by saying "find another Dr if not happy" is absolutely rude. She barely let me finish explaining the discrepancy I got from medical aid and kept being defensive and yet I am try to sort this matter and than cuts the phone line during my reply to her comment. I'm not happy at all with her moods sings. You can't always expect people to only listen to you in goods times, disagreement's are normal in any industry - conflicts will always be there in life but being rude to people is wrong... Definitely need's to fix her attitude. absolutely disgusting way to treat people who respect the medical professional as I can only imagine the pressures of beinga doctor, but disrespect is not acceptable.

What a wonderful receptionist Jason you really are an asset to the doctor. You were so patient with me answered all my questions made my first experience so pleasant. You were so calming especially with me being so nervous. You are one in a million. Doctor was very straight forward but also patient with me. She talked me through the process and gave advice to aid in treatment. I appreciate the gentleness and care I experienced. It must be said that the practice truly has a gem in Jason. Thank you for talking me down especially with how nervous I was. Tears of joy that there was nothing tremendously wrong with my reproductive organs. Wonderful environment so friendly from the moment of my booking to walking out. Thank you doctor and Jason.

I have had the most wonderful experience with Dr Nosheen Rashid. I have been with her for the past 7 years. She helped me fall pregnant and thanks to her I have 3 beautiful children. Till today I still see her for my annual gyne check ups. I would recommend her to anyone who is trying to fall pregnant,any gyne issue or even if you pregnant and looking for a excellent doctor to help you through your pregnancy and delivery. I remember with my last pregnancy it was complicated I went into early labour, doctor was on holiday she cut her holiday short and rushed immediately to attend to me these days you don't find doctors that would do that for a patient. Thumps up to you doctor for your wonderful service!!!

I had first made contact to get get an appointment on the 3rd March 2021 for the 5th March 3021.. On the 4th of March I was experiencing terrible pain and bleeding.. I called the rooms and was given such care and sensitivity by both Jasen and Harija who assisted me immediately. I had an appointment for the afternoon.. Doctor saw to me in the most professional manner.. Being very patient, compassionate and gentle.. She discussed my diagnosis and I had the operation done on the 11th March 2021. The operation was done well and doctor kept me up to date on everything.. I'm discharged and on my way to recovery. Thank you for the amazing experience Doctor Rashid.

Terrible experience. She is the first genealogist I ever saw when I was 11 weeks pregnant- she made what was supposed to be a beautiful experience, an absolute nightmare. She rushed me, didn't take any of my questions. Made sarcastic remarks when I told her I needed a female gynae if she wasn't available for my comfort. We waited an hour to see her and then in 10 minutes, she said we needed to leave. I will never recommend her to anyone. Very uncompassionate lady. And she has her secretary running her whatsapp line, which you can easily mistake for being a kind gynae only to find out that the actual gynae is not at all that.

It felt soooo good to be assisted with care and compassion , when I did not even book for an appointment to see Dr Rashid. That's a rare gesture to find these days. (appointments are highly recommended by the way) I was severe in pain, she assisted with passion, explaining what was happening to me and eventually saw me through a successful procedure today. I'm truly grateful for the professionalism throughout my consultations with her and I was even amazed to receive a reminder call from Dr Rashid's PA (for Hosp Auth the day before the procedure). If you visit this practice, make sure they give you the indemnity form to sign first. They made me sign it only after seeing the doctor and to my surprise had a disclaimer about how my fees will be settled. In short R1600 was taken from my medical aid savings which is supposed to go towards my medication. Instead of taking it from my maternity benefits. All the reception lady said was oh sorry I forgot to tell you about that. I would've never gone into the doctors room had I read that indemnity form first.

Dr Rashid is absolutely amazing! She has been my Gynae since 2013, after having experienced some terrible doctors and Gynaes who couldn’t diagnose me. Fast forward to 2021- I have two beautiful baby boys. Her personal attention to each patient, her care, warmth and professionalism is remarkable and very hard to come by in the medical fraternity. I can’t recommend her enough! Her staff are just as amazing and carry the same warmth for patients that she does! Thank you, Dr Rashid, Huma and Jason!

Where do I start Doctor Rashid has become part of my family including her receptionist all 3 of them I was once told by another Doctor that I could not have kids so time went by and I decided to try again and I was introduced by one of my cuzins to Doctor Rashid ,Doctor has blessed me with two kids a girl and a boy with all her talent and patient to making sure I have kids.I am truly blessed to have her part of my family and I highly recommend her. Dr Rashid was with me from the beginning of my pregnancy. And delivered my beautiful baby boy. She was absolutely amazing. She made me feel like I wasn't just a patient paying her. She made a very special time even more special. Through every scan she explained thoroughly to me what was what. I highly recommend her. She's absolutely amazing. And jason (her receptionist) is the most helpful and sweetest human being ive ever meet. And sister is absolutely amazing aswell.

A receptionist named Jason provided excellent service by helping to alleviate my anxiety and providing useful assistance. I am grateful for his help. Thank You Jason.However, my experience with Doctor Rashid was less than satisfactory. Despite waiting for an hour, she was unprofessional and exhibited a blunt communication style when sharing information with me.

I am very happy with the level of service I received. Doc was very patient and made sure my pregnancy was successful. And made sure that I get everything needed for the progress of my pregnancy. We had our first baby with Dr Nosheen Rashid and I will gladly make use of her services again in the future. Her professionalism, compassion, patience and kindness shown by Dr and her team to myself and my husband on our journey is something that we do not take for granted and will never forget. Had a sever throat infection in my first trimester, went to the hospital 3 days and nothing to help. Saw Dr. Nosheen, who took her time and gave me something for the pain and to clear the infection. The next day I was able to eat. I was so scared she called me and checked on baby without me even asking. ❤️❤️❤️ Best Dr EVER!

Pathetic! Service was horrible You wait forever only to be assisted for five minutes. Always misinforms patients and never apologies for it! No compassion or sympathy in her field whatsoever, it's all about the quick buck with her. Would never recommend any patients to this gynae! Very unprofessional and unpleasant

Was my first experience with a gynaecologist and was so uncomfortable . Worst ever, highly wouldn’t recommend especially if you not a modest fully covered Muslim . I was judged even for my clothes. Over 2 years later and even when I have an emergency I’ll rather travel far then to go back.

Not recommended as i was shouted at during a phonecall and also told to "shut up" when trying to resolve an issue with regard to a double booking and miscommunication between the receptionists and I. The way myself and my mother were spoken to was highly unprofessional.

I’d highly recommend Dr Rashid. She’s been amazing, friendly and kind throughout my pregnancy. This was my first pregnancy and she really made it an easy journey for me and my newborn. She’s thorough in every consultation, I’ve never left the Dr’s office unsatisfied.

She Was INVASIVE ,not thorough RUSHED RUSHED RUSHED,did procedures WITHOUT explaining,did unnecessary procedures without consent..no compassion esp being in this particular field. 5minutes for R1800..the rooms are very tacky..n she was unapologetically super late.

Found her to be quite rude and unprofessional. She's extremely judgemental. Receptionist is greatly incompetent, had to open my own file because receptionist was too busy and a laugh to go with it. Dr didn't help me whatsoever. Will never recommend her to anyone.

My daughter was in distress with the start of the pregnancy and Dr. Rashid assisted us and also was very helpful. We are now in the middle of the pregnancy and all is going much better. The staff are also all very helpful and friendly

Worst service, my wife and I changed the Dr same time after that, You cannot charge me R1800 for a 5 minute consultation, such a rude doctor and always in a hurry for the next patient,I wouldn't recommend this Dr to anyone

I highly recommend Dr Rashid, she is thorough, very kind and knows exactly how to handle any situation. Jason who works there as well was also wonderful and considerate. I felt like I was in great hands.

Terrible doctor, unprofessional and rude doctor... she misinterpreted my 'ultra sound' report indicating that i had dual uterus's instead of recognizing a tumor that required urgent surgery....
