My complaint is about the numbering system which does not work at all. You get a number on arrival or can call and you will receive a number. On a particular day I was allocated a number however only 3 people were in the surgery when I arrived quite early in the morning. As I waited, more people came in and and saw the doctor before me as they happened to have called before me. An hour and half had now passed and I was still waiting. I was then due to go in, however a couple more patients had come in and their numbers were before mine so they get to cut the queue. If these people were late surely they should have lost their number and should have been made to wait! I took the time to come in early as I don't live in this area, I also called the surgery before I left home numerous times and eventually when I got through I was given a ridiculous number. The phone was not even being answered from 8am - 8.15am, other patients also complained of this. The receptionist is rude and abrupt and clearly not fit to be liaising with ill people. She insists they don't work on an appointment basis, however getting allocated a number is an appointment! She also cannot estimate a time for when you can see the doctor so basically you need to allocate well over 2 or even 3 hours just to come in and wait. Very poor system especially if one has made all the effort and traveled from outside the fordsburg/Mayfair area to see this specific doctor, and also one would have to cancel all other meetings/appointments because this entire process takes so long. Half a working days can be lost just waiting! Rather allocate proper appointments with times. Waited almost 2 hours eventually and left without seeing the doctor as patients who did mange to get through telephonically before me only waltzed in at 10.30am. Utterly ridiculous and no sense of time management.

I got sick and my nearest doctor wanted an appointment but I needed to see a doctor immediately. I then visited Dr. SA and helped me without an appointment . I got an injection that day, and Monday I was happy to be at work. It was my 1st time here and I would recommend this place for everyone. The doctor is very kind and caring. Thank you

Had an appointment with Dr. Moola (standin) for Dr Gangat. I've never had a worse experience in my life with a Doctor before. Zero empathy and extremely rude. Will never make the mistake of spending even another minute in this individual's company even if I'm absolutely desperate.

The service from the reception in nothing short of atrocious. Rude! At times they don't pick up the phone. And they don't seem to understand customer service. Otherwise the Doctors are phenomenal though. I would recommend over and over again!

Dr Gangat is fantastic! Listened to my concerns and was not at all dismissive. Very friendly and professional. Have been searching for a go-to doctor in Jhb since moving here and have finally found her!
