I had a root canal done and it failed. My dentist informed me that I had an infection and would have to either redo the root canal or have the tooth pulled. Although he warned the second root canal may not be successful I chose to try it anyway. I googled endodontist or root canal specialist and the internet kept leading me to Dr Alan Deutsch. I was scared off by the one or two negative reviews on google. One of which mentioned hygiene. I am OCD with hygiene. Funny enough my dentist gives me the referral letters for a specialist if I chose to remove the tooth and another if I chose to redo the root canal. As fate would have it Dr Deutsch was the one he had recommended for the root canal. The offices are very nice looking. From the garden to the little dentistry statues. The tech is modern and awesome. He had a really nice panoramic x-ray machine and the offices were nicely kept. Elaine and the other ladies there were all extremely nice and friendly and Dr Deutsch himself was great. It was a difficult procedure but he was efficient and thorough. I am very particular and found no hygeine issues which I was very happy about. It was a bit expensive but I do feel like it was a job well done and I highly recommend him.

Creditworthy in every respect is how I can best describe the root canal Dr Alan performed on one of my large lower molars yesterday. The rooms are tasteful and not ostentatious. The staff are pleasant and competent. The interactions amongst them are businesslike and respectful. Dr Deutsch exudes competence and confidence; he was friendly, considerate and professional. Although the procedure is inevitably somewhat traumatic, ever since the freezing came out, my body has taken it in stride and that I think that reflects well on his practice standards. This was as good an experience as a procedure like that can get and in my professional opinion, the pricing was entirely reasonable. I gratefully acknowledge Dr Helen of Hyde Park Dental for the referral. My experience of her dental practice was similarly positive.

Fantastic dentist, really knows what he's doing and is very thorough in trying to find the best solution. I had a chipped molar that other dentists suggested I get crowned, Dr. Deutsch was the only one who suggested (and was able) to do a filling/cap and keep the molar intact, which was also my preference. Also very thorough with checkups, especially since I had weakened enamel.

Dr. Deutsch did a great job on crowning my tooth - perfection! I liked his focus, expertise and was extremely happy with the end result.

Dr Deutsch and his dental assistants provide superior care and attention. What a pleasant experience!
