I am an extremely nervous patient when it comes to going to the dentist - I absolutely hate it! Dr Andre de Wet has been my dentist for many years now. I don't live anywhere near Durbanville, but would rather travel from my home, and know that my trip to the dentist will not be super traumatising. (When I was younger, a dentist cracked my jaw while he was extracting a tooth - so dentists are not my favourite people!) Dr Andre de Wet has a gentle and caring manner. He has performed various procedures on me, and it is a testament to his manner and way of working that I return to him for any dental requirements that I have. It's not just Dr de Wet that "keeps me coming back",,, His staff are extremely professional and helpful, and are always able to assist me in an emergency. I definitely recommend Dr Andre de Wet as a professional, excellent dentist. I would not go to any other dentist.

For the past five years our family of four have been travelling from Langebaan all the way from Durbanville to see Dr De Wet, and we couldn't be happier. I am terrified of injections, and Dr de Wet is the first dentist that I have found that is gentle enough to make me feel totally comfortable in the chair. All of the work done by Dr de Wet is of the highest standard, and although there are dentists who are closer to home, we will continue to make the trip to Durbanville. I recently needed to have my teeth capped due to the fact that I grind my teeth in my sleep - because of this I had worn away the enamel which made my teeth very sensitive. The experience was a lot less painful than I expected and my new teeth look fantastic, thanks to Dr de Wet and Vince at Newvision Dental Laboratory. Heather Osborn.

Decent reception, and friendly people but very old fashioned way of doing things, quite hard handed with cleaning ,and sticking needles in quite roughly and digging through the flesh a lot ,without numbing gel. Witch to a child this would hurt a lot. And also done my retainer very poorly , broke loose almost 4 times ,in the process my teeth moved after having very expensive braces , i also could not get my floss through the closed off gaps where it was glued shut ,where it was very important to floss and it resulted me in having severely worsened teeth-hygene, after we moved to JJS Desntestry , the also had some bad comments on the work of my retainer.

I recently visited Dr. Andre de Wet and would just like to say what a pleasure it was. There was a lot of wear and tear on my front smile (teeth) from years of neglect and bad eating habits. I have a phobia for dentists so just getting there was a milestone, but as soon as I got to the practice the staff were very friendly and the doctor even more so with great professionalism. A couple of sessions later I can only say wow why did I not go there sooner as I now have all of my confidence back and can smile again without having to worry about letting people see my bad teeth. After knocking my front teeth out a few years ago, and going through the pain of root canal and braces, it was ultimately necessary to cap my teeth. Discovering Dr de Wet in Durbanville made the experience an absolute pleasure. He is ultimately professional, and the process went by without any fuss or bother. I went to Dr De Wet for the first time in 2012 for a checkup regarding my wisdom teeth. He helped me take the correct steps to get it sorted out. I went to him again in February 2013 for two fillings and I felt comfortable. Nice to know I've finally found a great local dentistry!
