I recently had a BBL treatment with Dr. Bukov. The treatment was on my face, neck, and chest. People, if you don't know what Broadband Light Therapy is, Google it. It is the Holy Grail of Lasers, using multiple wavelengths to give amazing results. It was created by some brainiacs at Sciton in Palo Alto, and there are VERY few Bay Area docs who have invested in this technology. Dr. Bukov offers this aesthetic service amongst others in addition to his family physician services. BBL works! My mid/late 40's skin has differing levels of sun damage, and the BBL treatment give noticeably visible results in the "worst" areas, and impressive results in lesser damaged areas. A 2012 Stanford University study showed that BBL "changes the expression of genes associated with the aging process to more closely resemble young skin". Wow, I see the results from my first treatment, and I think it may be an instant addiction. I'm looking forward to my next treatment! I found Dr. Bukov to have a kind and caring manner. He explains how the process works, what to expect, and makes sure you are comfortable throughout the process and afterward. His new office is modern and beautiful (but not ostentatious), with valet parking. He certainly seems to be focused on a positive patient experience, IMHO.

I’ve been seeing Dr Bukov for several years now. If you are looking for a doctor that will spend the time to listen to you and treat your issues like they are important to them, you should check into his practice. The Dr is amazing, the staff is friendly and responsive (you get a call back the same day, sometimes within a few minutes) and I can usually find parking in this neighborhood. In the past, I hated going to the dr, insane waits, rushed in and out of the office or waiting for the pharmaceutical rep to finish – this has never happened here. Don’t worry if you are feeling a little embarrassed about the reason you need to see the dr, this doctor respects you and if your problem is real to you, it’s real to him.

Having moved to San Francisco I was searching for a primary doctor and I just so happened to come across Dr. Bukov on zocdoc and I am so happy I did! Tina his assistant is so friendly and sweet and welcomes you with a big smile and gets you in and out with ease. The Doctor is very kind and funny and genuine in his care for you, he is very receptive to questions and concerns and is determined to get to the bottom of the problem. He makes you feel incredibly at ease which helps him get more insight on what steps to take! I know that he will be my primary doctor for years to come and I know this from only 3 visits because he is just that good!

Dr. Bulov and his staff are wonderful! They are professional, polite and helpful. They do not do the "hard sell" routine, but rather act as beauty consultants. Dr. Bulov is very talented, skilled and experienced + has great "bedside manner", which is rare, especially in this field. I am very pleased with my results and feel their prices are fair. I will definitely be going back.

Dr. Bukov and his team is very professional and I feel always welcome in his office. He is very open and give you a good insight with providing several options and recommendations. In some urgent short notice appointments, his team was able to find me a spot to be able to see the doctor. I recommend dr. Bukov to my colleagues and friends.

I thought his service was amazing. Then he moved to a new paperless office. Yes, no paper! It's incredible. After Stella's Pastry Shop, this might be the best kept secret in San Francisco. But seriously, I'm really thankful to find an allopathic practitioner like Dr. Bukov. Thoughtful, intelligent, and direct. A rare medical doctor.

Such an awesome place to be in! Staffs were attentive and efficient. I was doing sculpting until 9:00 pm and they were so considerate by feeding me with fruits and snacks. i felt like a family member more than a patient. Highly recommend this clinic!
