I had not seen a doctor in about 2 yrs., so my wife and I made an appointment for a physical exam on 1/29/15. After the exam was complete, I had some health related questions, which we discussed very briefly, but was told to make an appointment if I wanted to discuss them with him in depth. I made a follow-up appointment for 2/9/15. The phlebotomist did not wear gloves for neither my nor my wife's blood draws, which was very concerning to me. I brought this to his attention when I stopped by the next day (1/30) for the test results, but he did not seem very concerned and said that there was no health risk to us. On 2/9/15 , I arrived at 9:30a for my 9:45a appointment and waited until 10:30a for the doctor to come to the exam room. I had several questions for him, including shoulder, neck and leg pain. The doctor only did a physical exam for my shoulder and said that x-rays were needed for both my neck and shoulder. He said that my leg pain was probably only manageable with medication or surgery and referred me to an orthopedist for all three issues. The next item I wanted to discuss was my sudden recent weight gain and was dismissively told to go to Weight Watchers. He then refused to discuss any more of my health questions, telling me, "No more questions". He told me to make another appointment if I had more questions, since he had other patients waiting. I asked how many questions I was entitled to for each exam appointment and was told, "One question only", and then he asked me to leave. He spent less than 20 minutes total with me. It is unbelievable that I would be asked to leave an exam room by a doctor before we had discussed my concerns about my health. I have never before seen such unprofessional behavior in a medical provider.

I have never experienced such unprofessional service — from a medical practice at that! I am equal parts angry and heartbroken right now. I’ve called 3 times since 3 business days ago for an approval of refills on my prescription. I have been without my hypertension medicine and am feeling the side effects of it. I don’t know why this Dr allows his rude wife to work the front desk. Long story short — I kept leaving the pharmacist empty handed and was literally screamed at by his wife over the phone when this entire situation is a reflection of their negligince to simply approve my refill. The excuse of hers was that they had received nothing from the pharmacist when finally - (miraculously!) it was discovered that it was there all along. Even after discovering her fault in the issue her response to me when I asked when to expect it to be approved was that he’d do it when he was done with patients and if I was unhappy I could find another doctor. It was 4:40pm. They close at 5pm. It is 6pm and another day without my medicine. I am angry that this low level of customer service could exist and heartbroken over how devalued my health is right now by my own primary care doctor. Baffling.

It was relatively easy to set an appointment with Dr. Segundo. His staff was very friendly and very helpful throughout my entire experience however, Dr. Segundo was why I decided to chose another Doctor. He was very unprofessional while talking with me and even went as far as accusing me of having intentions to sell the prescription I was trying to get filled. At the end of my visit I was able to move forward with getting my prescription filled however, I chose to cancel the process due to the fact that I prefer to have a Doctor who treats patients professionally and with care. I was able to set an appointment with another Doctor who filled my prescription immediately as I have been officially diagnosed and prescribed medication for my illness in the past. Overall, his staff was very friendly but unfortunately I would not give a positive recommendation for Dr. Segundo A. Briones.

When I think on healthcare I associate my thoughts to kindness, care and good customer service but this is not the case here. I called to reschedule an appointment due to personal circumstances and the receptionist immediately jumped to the cancellation fee policy which wasn't disclosed when I made the appointment. She probably didn't want to deal with explaining to me the cancellation policy once she realized I wasn't happy about it so she put me on hold for several minutes and then a very rude woman picked up the phone and said "I am the office manager" like she was going to intimidate me with her honorific title. I hung up the phone, we as patiences don't deserve this type of treatment. These people should be working for a collections agency not in a doctor's office.

This is the absolute worst doctor I've ever had the misfortune of being "taken care of" by. He dismissed my symptoms, openly laughed at my concern. Tried to add to my bill by claiming I needed additional unnecessary tests not required by other health professionals to receive the prescription I needed. He redused to prescribe it and I was charged in full. My condition has since gotten worse. When I called again because it's gotten worse he refused to refund me or see me again and referred me to another specialist since I wouldn't give him more money for the same problem. This place is trash.

Money over health. Money is root of all evil. Will not even see you until you PAY HIM the deductible (600 for me).. MONEY IS HIS RULER. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. He scams poor people. He is a sad person that only has any happiness with the money he collects from his patients. Avoid at ALL costs. Should be put down. Lost cause.

Our family is around 20 years with Dr. Briones. We are so happy to have him as Family doctor, because he is real Family (!!!) doctor!!!! Always fast and professional help. His professional staff is always friendly, kind and helpful. Dr. Briones, thank you and your crew for everything!!

I actually see the doctor, not the physicians assistant. Goes above and beyond to make sure any concerns are addressed. The office staff is getting better, but I'm not there to see the office staff. I like the doc.

Dr Briones has been my primary care physician for 20 years!! Always been awesome and diagnosed my sheep apnea when I thought I was dying to of strange illness! Love him and his wonderful wife.

Was my pcp one time. Staff is rude, doctor wants you in and out to keep the people and money flowing. Call for a aliment and the off ice number is never “available”

Outstanding doctor, never rushed. He listens to you and then follows with treatment options. Couldn't ask for a better PCP.

If you are looking is a good doctor and a good place to do your annual exams, never come here! this place DOES NOT WORK!
