Dr. Maree always takes his time with his patients which is very rare once their practice changed over to Medicross. I worked there over twenty years ago now and he would go do volunteer clinics at Khayelitsha and also work till 9pm on Friday and Saturday nights along with me (still think we were given those shifts as we were the youngest men working there). Unlike some of the other Doctors there at the time who had extremely high patient rotation rate, clocking patients in and out in under 5 minutes. So you can ask any long faithful patients who go to Medicross Table View and they will more than likely tell you that they will wait to see Dr. Maree no matter how long the wait is. When my father had a severe heart attack at home, I called Medicross at 7pm and thank the lord Dr. Maree was on duty, he was at our home in under 9 minutes and while consulting with my father he called the ambulance service himself and they were there in ten minutes. While my dad was in hospital Dr. Maree called everyday and spoke to my dads physician and heart specialist almost 4 times a day and he even came to sit in during the operation. Now I dont think you can get a better family doctor than that. Being older now I have my own children and they absolutely love Dr. Maree and when they go there without an appointment as they are very sick and he is not available you have never in your life seen such mopy children. I hope Dr. Maree is still going to be around for a long time to come but if he leaves and starts his own practice somewhere else my whole family and many more other loyal patients will follow him,

Dr. Maree has been practicing at Medicross even before they were Medicross. He was there when it was called Dr. Reinders & partners, he always had the best reviews and thanks from patients for his personable interactions with his patients who once they have had a consultation with him will always ask for him whenever they come back. He really takes an interest about peoples well being and will go out of his way to refer you to the right specialists if he deems necessary. I have been seeing him since I was a child and now my own family goes to him.

Dr Andre Maree is just the best...he really listens and hears you...Im so comfortable sharing issues with him and although Im new to CT and only been to him twice...I def wont be going elsewhere...its not often you find a doctor who takes the time to hear you and help you on your journey to being well. He really cares about you. There is the rest but then there is the best.
