They aren't very knowledgeable. Just employees. I went in to specifically see if they had silk headbands (not scarfs). I never ask the people there for anything, I always look myself because they don't seem to know. I told her I needed a silk or stain headband to protect my edges. She looked at me puzzled (keep in mind that she was talking to me from the front counter, so she was yelling to the entire store). She asked if I meant a scarf, I said no. She asked if I meant a different kind of headband, I said no. She sarcastically said something to the effect of that not being something that I would find anywhere. She clearly is not familiar with anything other than what is at this store. I already shopped online for these headbands, but thought maybe I could find them cheaper here. I'm not sure why it was so surprising to her that this exist. It really just depends on who you get that day. She was pretty ignorant about hair products, and condescending about something in which she was clueless. The customer service is generally okay, but again, it depends who is working that day. I only come here if I'm seeking something very specific. Most of the time they don't have it, but the location is nice. They do always ask if you need anything when you enter, but again, I never do. Especially after that incident. It is not a black owned store, but they do have black employees to make it seem that way. The headbands that I did buy staind my couch from the cheap dye fading. It took me an hour of rubbing alcohol to get it out. Very disappointing.

I bought some hair from here yesterday. It has not been a whole 24hours. I noticed that the hair had a bad smell to it. So I opened the bag to smell it.I didn't even pull the hair out. The smell was so strong. I have been coming here for years. No exchanges at all. They just lost a customer. Every thing is high. 30.00 for some bad hair. That I can't even use. Please don't waste your money. And the black woman with the horrible attitude. Her attitude is as bad as the smell of the hair. DO NOT buy from this place. Bad business practices.

I’ve been coming here for years , unfortunately because it’s close but I won’t be coming back. For one they don’t exactly make you feel the most welcome. I went in there today and the lady at the register didn’t speak, didn’t ask if I needed help, just looked me up and down. However the security lady spoke, just to say take your hood off. Then they want to watch you like a hawk which is very annoying. So I put my basket back and walked out. Also, you can get the same products anywhere else cheaper.

They get 2 stars for at minimum of having the hair. I called to ask a price due to running out of hair for my client and they couldn’t quote me an amount but could tell me the amount to bring… weird but I had limited choices. Went to the location and received absolutely no help. Then checked out and they do not offer returns which I understand but not exchange either, ridiculous. I recommend going elsewhere if at all possible. From your fellow Cosmetologist

I shop here because of the commute between home and work. I usually come for braid hair and the kiss makeup brand. With the braid hair, it's a hit or miss because of my natural hair color. Most beauty supply stores don't have a lot of options for salt and pepper or just silver hair. The staff is friendly and they usually have everything else I'm looking for. The prices are pretty reasonable, so this is one of my go to spots.

Wanted to pick up some products and called for the price was shocked when I was told “We can’t give out the price over the phone” lady was very polite about it however that’s quit ridiculous you won’t give a person prices who’s wanting to make a purchase. The hair store right down the street gave their price over the phone and that’s where I will be going since they care enough to let me know how much I will be spending. Smh...

This place isn’t bad. They’re usually nice and have everything you need. I just have an issue with how some of their rules go. I came in and it was raining so I had a hoodie on and they said I can’t wear it in there so I just left. It’s your business so you can do what you want I just think it’s kind of ridiculous. The hoodie wasn’t even covering my face and it’s not like I was wearing the hoodie for no reason.

Horrible ,extremely nasty customer service.A very rude lady follows you everywhere and complained when my daughter touched a bead.My dota was charged just for touching a hair band.She said I should carry toys for my daughter to play with oh my goodness she is 8 and she wants to choose her own items like she does in all other stores.They told me they don't care what I buy Wow bye Remi store never ever!!

There is a very informative African American lady who works there and offers a great deal of product and haircare knowledge. She doesn't hesitate to provide you with updated information regarding what's new and still good for the care of extensions, weaves, crochet and a plethora of hair types. I drove from North KC and stopped at other locations, yet I made my purchase here and was very pleased!

Great experience! I called a hour before I arrived, great representative that I spoke with on the phone. Once I arrived my bags of hair was at the counter. The owner was friendly which made me purchase MORE. Order consisted of (Pre Stretched Hair, 1B&27, Hair Bonnet, Hair Oil, Edge Comb). My total was $80-100.00. This is a nice place to go for hair products. I went here to look for dark blue braids to put in my head they did not have. I think they should have more of a variety of color when it comes to braids so i order off of Amazon. But, this doesn't mean i wouldn't visit are buy anything out of here i actually like the place and very friendly people.

They offer help and guidance when you are looking for something. They also try hard to get what you want if you are looking for a specific item. The store is organized so you can find anything you need. The store is medium-sized small so it is not to hard to find items but again they help you if you are looking for something.

I really like this place. Nice selection and affordable prices. Ive been coming there for years. The ladies are very helpful. They do kinda follow you around at first and its annoying but If you not stealing there is nothing to worry about! And nowadays I dont blame them for trying to protect their store.

The problem that I have with the beauty supply stores in the black community is the owners don't value their black customers business. There are signs telling the customer their business isn't valued. Don't do this or that. Don't touch the wigs and etc. You're not doing the black community any favors.

Way too expensive. I understand that they are remodeling and expanded into the old Metro PCS store, but I can drive a few miles away and get a better deal (and they were higher than most hair stores even before the expansion). Yes they are friendly but they are just they're just too high

Very rude one older lady who follows you around smacking her lips and talking like she's not at work, new women who's at counter with also the worst customer service ever will be speaking with owners one of the lady's were talking about not paying for items and they work there! Smh

They don't even deserve a 1I unfortunately was referred to this location having surgery needed temp wig. The owner just looked , told her what I needed and again just starred at me never ever offered help, what type color nada ...I would not be returning nor recommend. …

I love coming here. I've been coming for years and I have built reportoir with some of the ladies who work there. They are a great presence wether i come right after doing my hair or if I'm in the middle of it and ran out of something lol. Will continue to go there.

I really liked this place! It was very well organized and clean, and the aisles were not crowded and narrow like most stores like this one. The owners were very nice and could not only speak English but also understand it. I will be returning. I loved this place!

The Lady that works the front counter ALWAYS display exceptional Customer Service! The lady that was working in the wig section in the back was very unprofessional. She was having a conversation with another employee (Male) and I couldnt believe the language!

It's close so I go here but they make me feel like I'm going to steal. They ask a million times can they help and follow you around the store. It gets annoying so I plan my visit to get in and out if I must go here.
