I went up to a guy at the gate. I asked him if I could just ask a question. He starts closing the gate on me. He told me to go ring the doorbell. It's Saturday, and I knew the front offices were closed, hence me asking him. I still went to ring the doorbell, and no one came. I rang it 4 times in 2 minutes. I then see 3 people in civilian clothes come out, probably family members because one guy is young and an older couple. I go to that same door that reads "Personel Only." No one came, and I got ignored. I visit firehouses all over the world, and this was the worst one. So disrespectful
I had reason to call the ambulance to Donnybrook in an emergency this afternoon c.4 pm and would like very much to say how impressed I was by the great service. I wish to thank the service generally but in particular the two Ambulance Men for their efficiency, professionalism, immediate creation of calm and sense of humour and above all their kindness in what was a frightening and bloody situation. The page lists the postal address of Dublin Fire Brigade HQ as being in Dublin 1. This is incorrect. Townsend Street is in Dublin 2. Its an EVEN not an ODD number. Even numbered post codes are South of the River Liffey. Odd numbered post codes are North of the River Liffey. Please correct this. TIA.
