I tried the New York Cheesecake and the burnt cheesecake - with a very different verdict. The New York Cheesecake seemed to be quite old. The cream cheese was pretty solid, not fluffy, the outside was already yellowish. Definitely not a recommendation in that state. If my suspicion is correct, cake that old shouldn't be sold anymore! The burnt cheesecake on the other hand was delicious! Fresh cheese flavor, light, pretty fluffy and creamy for a burnt cheesecake, which is usually a bit more dense. That one is highly recommended. The price in general was fair with 77k each (cheaper in the shop, 70k each). Ordered via Grab, so no picture. UPDATE: The owner of the place is actually very nice and I got a replacement for the unsatisfying slice from the other day. The Burnt Basque Cheesecake is still my absolute favorite, the eggy creamy deliciousness is hard to compete with. The NY Cheesecake is a bit too dense for my taste and the dough just not crispy or flavorful enough. Also it has a bit too intense lemon flavor for a NY Cheesecake. But quality was excellent now, so the last time was probably just a tiny glitch. Thank you for the excellent customer service!

Great venue, very pleasant shop with good space upstairs, very clean too. Service was also very good. Unfortunately I have to give it four stars rather than five because two of the three things ordered weren't good enough. Let me start by saying the cakes here are excellent. Go here and buy cake slices immediately. What wasn't so excellent was the drink I ordered which was bland and didn't have any skill to make other than a bit of syrup, and the cookie. I'm a cookie lover and Annie's in District 2 is far superior to here. Sorry guys, your cookie was fine but not great. It was overcooked and tasted more like a cake than a cookie. The consistency was wrong and the flavour could have been better too. Like I said, go here to buy cake slices, just be wary of other things which may not be as good.

Strongly recommend the millionaires shortbread, as well as the cinnamon roll. Beware, the cinnamon roll is huge, so arrive hungry. Flavor was spot on, the cinnamon was prominent without overpowering, and the icing is what puts it over the top. Also really enjoyed the Chai latte which managed to be full of flavor without being over-sweet. Very relaxing ambience with comfortable upstairs seating. Friendly owner and staff who helped out with an address mixup, and enjoyed chatting while waiting for the food and drinks. Highly recommend! Oh, and we taste tested a cornflake cookie that was easily a 10/10 for flavor, and super moist. I'll order one when I go back, and perhaps bring a few back with me to share. I know the flavor combo sounds a bit odd, but just trust me and give it a taste.

I had such a great experience here. Their butterscotch banana crunch was so decadent and way better than I had expected, as the combination of banana cake, choco crumbs and butterscotch was to die for Especially, what I appreciate most about this bakery was the staff’s distinctive friendliness which I could hardly find in any other places. I also ordered a cookie cheesecake and an earl grey honey cake to go, both of which had really nice textures and rich flavors as well. Definitely gonna come back for more treats

Front runner when it comes to baked goods. No one beats Dulce's cinnamon rolls. And I know. I've tried a lot of cinnamon rolls over the years. Many cinnamon rolls have been demolished in the making of this opinion. Dulce's blows the rest clear out of the water. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I'd eat dulce every day if my doctor would allow it. Best bakery in town by far. Absolutely adore this place. Anytime I need baked goods for a work event or a special occasion, this is where I go. Can't recommend it enough.

Got a grab order delivered the other day. Will order again. Cookies were huge, definitely shareable between three children, not overly sweet, not too gooey in the center. High quality flavor in these as large as your palm if not bigger cookies! Personal favorite was the miso cornflake one, the chocolate walnut needed milk as it was on the rich side. Matcha was good, but didn’t shine as much as the miso. Packaging came nice and sanitary. Thanks a lot!

Mình ghé tiệm do một người bạn giới thiệu, tiệm nằm trong con hẻm nhỏ khá khuất ở gần Thảo Cầm Viên nên mình nghĩ cũng ít khách biết. Mình đi sáng CN thì ko có khách, chắc chủ yếu mua mang về. Trên lầu có không gian cho khách ngồi khá xinh, có con cún màu đen siêu hiền siêu dễ thương thích ăn bánh khách đút :))) Nước uống thì chắc ko phải thế mạnh nên uống bình thường, cacao ngọt hơi gắt họng Bánh thì chất lượng ukie, tầm giá hơi cao so vs các tiệm bánh khác nhưng mình thấy cũng ok, ko quá mắc.

Honestly my favourite cafe in Saigon. For a long time I was just ordering from grab and today I finally was able to visit in person. The food is incredibly delicious and the cinnamon roll is so much fun to eat. The food is very sweet so be mindful of what you choose. The location is nice and the chairs are some of the nicest chairs for any place I've been too. Overall a very underrated place and I highly recommend it.

Love the bakery here! All the desserts are fantastic but the best are the cookies (miso cookie not include, too dry). The balance of sweetness is prefect to me. I had the honey earl grey cake with a hot chocolate this time. Both were great. You could really taste the earl grey and honey in the cake which I enjoyed. Again those cookies, especially when warm are so freaking good

Best cakes in Saigon hands down. Perfect amount of sweetness, always moist and generous on the icing (but still proportional to cake). My expectations have always been exceeded! It’s the type of cake where you can finish the slice and crave more Definitely recommend whether you have an event or just want a reliable slice of cake to hit your cravings.

Great cookies, cinnamon role, burnt cheese cakes and apple pies. Portions are big and the service is great. Highly recommended!

Dulce of Saigon is a delightful bakery that serves some seriously delicious cakes! The flavors are on point, although they can be a bit too sweet for our taste. Nonetheless, the quality and taste of the cakes are top-notch, and we couldn't resist going back for more. If you have a sweet tooth, this bakery is definitely worth a visit!

Dulce makes by far the best sweets in Saigon! My first experience was a custom Turtle Cheesecake which was out of this world. They have since made it a regular item that you HAVE to try! All of there sweets are awaking but if I say the 1 or 2 things you must try I would do the Turtle Cheesecake and wash it down with a Miso Cookie!

Cheesecakes here are perfect, creamy and rich in flavour, love it! Very helpful and friendly stuff that speak decent English

Honestly these were probably the worst pastries I've ever eaten. Maybe it's my Canadian taste buds, but both of the items we ordered on grab tasted and smelled like mothballs. I've never spat anything out so quickly in my life. Presentation is nice but good God I've never eaten a pastry so bad tasting in my life.

Pretty nice cafe/cake store. I tried pecan cheese cake and cinnamon rolls. They were both great and portion is actually huge as the owner of the store is an American. The price is pretty reasonable for the portion and the quality. 2nd floor of this cafe is fairy nice space to chill as well.

I ordered the chocolate devils food cake for a going-away party and could not be happier with the cake quality and service. Staff are professional and courteous, communicative and efficient with delivery. The cake was delicious! Ideal for chocolate lovers. Highly recommend Dulce de Saigon .

First visit, didn't disappoint. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the vibe is chilled and boutique-like. I had the chai latte and Basque cheesecake (baked). The cheesecake was the fluffiest I've ever had, definitely a welcome change from other dense, baked cheesecakes.

The cakes and cookies here are too sweet to me, not sophisticated. The beverage is so so. The staffs are not professional, they make the bar looks so messy... and the cashier doesn't talk to the customer, she was distracted by her phone. Bad experience!
