We bought the kids a PS5 for xmas. They happily took our almost $800, got an email they were out of stock. Went in the store to see if they could help. Was pretty much told too bad, go find a store with them in stock. While EB was sitting with our money to buy one, so if we found one elsewhere (not EB) couldn't get it anyway because we didn't have our money We had to write list of every EB in Vic and started googling. 9 stores in found one, but have to make a 300km round trip to get it.. thankfully at EB also (because there's no way of telling what they have anywhere) so didn't need refunda to be processed over days, further lessening our chances of getting one. Pretty poor form from EB IMO. The online buying structure is very broken and buyer should be very aware

Not impressed with their "policies" lack of care for customers or overall service. My daughter purchased a very expensive wireless gaming headset. It snapped as she turned her head and broke. All she wanted was a replacement set... to cut a long story short, she has to take the set back to pakenham then drive all the way over to Frankston to get another set after coming from Phillip Island. How DISGUSTING. Over $200 on the headset and they refuse to deliver it even after she offered to pay. I'll never deal with this useless store again and I'll be putting in a complaint to EB head office. Should have just purchased them on line.

These people are legends! I had a bad purchase happen to me when I bought what I thought was One game, however was in fact the wrong game (right cover wrong disc). Short story they put in the wrong disc and I didn’t get what I payed for. I didn’t make this discovery till way outside the returns policy window. I went to the store anyway expecting to be told that they couldn’t do anything about it. But they came through! They understood and let me exchange the game for the copy I wanted! I was so happy and thrilled. They all deserve raises, all of them

One of the more helpful EB stores went in because I was looking for a particular game which I couldn't find in any store close to me and it was a $12 game so if I wanted it shipped it was gonna be a $30 not really worth it in my eyes. So I asked the staff member there about it and he couldn't be more helpful sorted everything out for me and now I get to enjoy the game without spending $30. Have been for a few reason but will definitely be going back because of this experience.

1 star is a blessing for this store should only be half at star. This stores customer service is poor. on the Phone to them and they are telling my to shut up. then they put you on hold without even telling you that you will be. Then You do 2 afters pays with him for both times they will tell you that they have lost the game. this place doesn't take care of their items in store or look after customers. this area destroyes alll Eb games name.

Its one of the better EB. Games shops.the staff are actually knowledgeable about the games and accessories they sell unlike the narre warren branch. Friendly staff that get to know the regulars is another bonus. Games are still over priced but its the only place to get some collectors editions with out ordering overseas.

Could have been a better experience...staff were too busy chatting with each other even though I hovered near them and looked their way a few times for assistance. Store was clean and layout was easy enough to navigate. I have had better experiences so 4/5 it is for now.

Bought myself a Nintendo Switch. How could it not be a great day?!! Seriously though... Staff we happy to accommodate my needs and even let me trade in a game from the Switch bundle to get discount off the game I actually wanted. Thanks team EB GAMES.

Solid range of games, however a slight imbalance in peripherals (full wall of headphones but only a handful of speciality keyboards and mice that I could see). Still definitely worth dropping in though, staff are extremely helpful.

Best eb around the guys and girls are the best their and they love all the games and geek stuff so they know what their talking about and it not just a job …

Went in to trade my Xbox and some games and to grab a new headset, Got more than I expected and whole process took no longer than 10 minutes. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Went to trade in a game that's worth $50. They would only give me $8 for it (this goes for all stores not just Pakenham). Choose not to trade. Good customer service though.

Yet to see an eb games not having a sale of some sort. They are all identical. Nothing new here, the same items and service you would get at any other eb.

Customer service is spot on. Super friendly staff and its good talking with people who have a great personality. I am referring to the Pakenham store.

Great variety, but still very over priced compared to online and big department stores such as BigW which is in the same centre.
