I was told by my previous hairdresser that I would never be blonde again due to the fact that my previous hairdresser had damaged my hair so much it would never be possible. Not only was I unable to be blonde but my hair was so damaged that I was unable to grow it out. It was an absolute nightmare. It was incredibly disheartening. As everyone knows, your hair is a big part of who you are and how you present yourself to the world. My confidence was completely destroyed. A good friend of mine recommended Emma From our initial interaction, I knew Emma would be the hairdresser to fix my problem. She made sure she was tackling my issues in the way I wanted to by truly understanding what needed I questioning what my problem were, helped me understand what needed to be done to fix my issues, set expectations around what was achievable and took me on the most awesome hair journey! After a couple of appointments, the results were phenomenal!! I was well on my way to healthier, blonder hair!! The thing I love most about Emma and her girl crew is I’m always greeted with a friendly smile, an awesome coffee and protein ball which I love as it’s a super healthy option to snack on! Service is always consistent. Emma always checks in to see if you’re still happy with your hair journey and I ALWAYS walk out feeling A MILLION dollars! I’m super pleased to say my hair is super healthy and BLONDE and it’s all thanks to the amazing lady that is Emma. I found out about Em and her services through a random encounter and word of mouth. All I can say is - boy am I glad I did. From the moment I walked in to the salon, I felt instantly at ease with a professional and caring team, lead by a stylist and professional who is at the top of her game. I had the best experience I've ever had at EMVHAIR in Mornington. As someone with very very fine and thinning hair, my experience at a hair salon is usually anxiety inducing and am often told that there is not much that can be done with my hair and my appointments are usually over within half an hour. This was not the case with EMVHAIR, from the moment I walked in, I was greeted and made to feel very special. Tessa really took the time to make sure I had a good a experience, she gave me suggestions on styles, hair and scalp health and most importantly, she took the time to make sure I was happy with my hair when I left. I only had a cut today with the incredible Lara and I’m so excited to go back for my colour after a quick chat/consult with Emma. The whole experience of my hair cut and style was flawless. It’s been the first time in a long, long time that I had a proper consultation, my concerns with my hair where addressed, I was educated, I was given tips on styling and the conversation was kept professional, light and positive (I left feeling refreshed not drained). The scalp massage was beautiful and the massage chair was the best touch.

I love Emma, I've been seeing her for years! She takes the time to listen to what I'm after, or make suggestions herself and then we have a discussion on how the look could be slightly altered to suit me or make it a little bit more current day trend — once she gets the ok from me, she declares how excited she is to create the style and how amazing it's going to look! She's so knowledgable about everything HAIR and even gives you a demo at the end on how to use a particular hair tool or product to do the look yourself at home. Emma's welcoming, friendly, warm and bubbly and also has a gorgeous studio dog Mila to pat. I highly recommend EmV Hair!

Sharron and I went in last night all the way from Tullamarine. And was worth the drive. We were both stoked with our hair. Started off with a sparkling wine and had our consultation. Amy worked with my hair and Emma worked with Sharrons. Both of the girls listened to what we wanted but also gave their suggestions to give our hair the best outcome. The massage chairs are on point while your looking at the cool ceiling or closing your eyes. I personally can not recommend EMV HAIR - Emma more highly! She is my hair god and I have total faith in her and the team to do my hair! The team at EMVHAIR always provide an amazing service. Lara is a cutting genius, even for someone who doesn’t know what they want or what would suit. She finds the perfect balance between cutting enough off to be healthy but not too much that you feel you have lost too much length. By far the best hair salon on the peninsula and I've tried so many of them before I found this one, since I started coming here I get so many compliments on my hair. The vibes are high and the team are so fun and friendly.
