Scott -the owner- provides fair prices while providing the most professional customer service. He makes an effort to close every transaction with customer satisfaction. I came here for a safety over a year ago and have no regrets about bringing my car into his shop. He's willing to own up to his mistakes and goes above and beyond to make things right; it's an admirable and comforting trait to know about, considering the skepticism surrounding auto shops and them trying to swindle every last penny out of you! This is an edit to the original review I had written within the last two months about a problem I encountered and yet he still reached out to make amends for a mistake that was made over a year ago. I'm highly satisfied with his customer service and will be coming here again after my experience with him.

Service is very good. My Hyundai Santa Fe died on the road on Saturday, called a tow truck to tow it here. They did a serious inspection of my car very quickly and found this 160,000 km engine was broken, they helped me I searched around for the engine and learned that this engine has an original factory warranty, they quickly contacted me and asked me to contact the Hyundai 4S shop, and sure 4S told me that I can replace the engine for free, which saved me a lot of engine replacement cost. They are a very honest car repair shop

Scott is very knowledgeable and experienced about cars. My Honda CRA had more than usual loud engine since I bought new. Although the Honda dealer made some changes during warranty period, the engine is still quite loud, compared to other similar vehicles. My initial visit was to change the gasket of engine, Scott suggested to adjust the valve clearance as it’s over 100,000 km, and it could be the reason why the engine is so loud. Magically, the engine noise was reduced significantly after the visit!!!

When my son's car met an untimely demise, Scott and his team, Matt and Jason, were extremely helpful to repair and safety check a new used car. Thorough, professional, and under very busy circumstances at the garage, they provided the quality of service that everyone hopes for. Scott has the same professional ethic that Jim has, and I would highly recommend Excel Auto Tech to anyone looking for a great shop!

Scott has many experiences about the airbag issues. I was bothered by my Buick Enclave’s airbag light, and couldn’t figure out what really caused the problem. I read the error codes about the stage 1 and stage 2 resistance high, and thought the airbag might have an issue. Based on Scott’s experiences, he told me should be the click spring’s issue. After changing the clock spring’s wires, problem solved.

I had a great experience renting my u-haul truck from Jim. My move had plenty of hiccups and setbacks, but not with the truck. Jim was friendly, courteous, professional and organized and made this aspect of my move the easiest part. If I'm ever in need of another rental truck, I will most definitely be renting it from Jim's. Highly recommend!

Impressive expertise from just chat w/ Scott. I got an interesting/incorrect repair reason from a dealer for my malfunction of starting and dash board. Scott and his team did thorough analysis and identified the real root cause, and fixed my issue.

The owner, Scott is very professional auto technician. I got my Altma serviced. The bearing and brake pads/rotor get repaired and now it is running like a charm. The price is reasonable and you could trust Scott's suggestions. Highly recommended.

EXCEL AUTO TECH is really a nice friendly professional shop to get vehicle fixed. I sent my car and my truck to the place for the services, they always check carefully on everything and only charge us with reasonable price.

Do not rent from this location. They charged me for gas I did not use on top of the rental of the truck. Sad to see dishonest people running businesses like this. Lots of choices to rent from in this city, choose wisely.
