I recently had the unfortunate experience of having breakfast at the Spur in Trade Route, and I must say, it was one of the worst experiences I've EVER had. From the moment we walked in, everything seemed to go downhill. Several members of my party, including myself, fell ill after consuming the food. It was evident that the ingredients used in our meals were not fresh, and the lack of proper food handling and storage procedures was apparent. The waiting staff at the Spur were equally disappointing. Not only were they inattentive, but they also seemed disinterested in providing a satisfactory experience. Our orders were consistently delayed, and it took an unreasonable amount of time for our food to arrive. When we tried to address our concerns with the staff, they were dismissive and unapologetic, showing a complete lack of professionalism. Considering the unpleasant experience and the health risks associated with eating at the Spur in Trade Route, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to anyone. The poor hygiene standards, unprofessional waiting staff, and overall experience make it clear that the management of this restaurant needs to seriously reevaluate their practices. There are far better options available in the area, and I strongly advise potential diners to explore those alternatives instead.

Ordered the chedamelt steak special(medium) for takeaway. Waited 34 minutes even tho the store only had a handful of customers. On inspection before leaving the store found the steak to be already cold!! Seems like it was sitting there for some time until I enquired! If hadn't I'm sure I would have waited for much longer. The waiter forgot to get the butter and sour cream. I insisted that I will rather eat in store and just to bring me a plate. He insisted he takes it back to put it on a plate. This took 10mins, ten long minutes just to put food on a plate!!! That's not all, I specified the steak be made medium, instead it was burnt to a crisp! Hungry I forced myself to eat and couldn't finish it. It had to be the most sickening experience eating steak. The manager apologiesd and offered to credit my vouchers or give me a refund. It's one thing to apologise and give a refund but it doesn't solve the issue with your ongoing pathetic service! You won't find me eating here again! Ugh horrible food!

The setting is perfect you get the typical quality Spur experience from their staff and the food is great and this Spur is not noisy you can atleast here yourself having a conversation while sharing a meal which makes it ideal for dinner/lunch or breakfast dates I had my daughter's 1 year birthday on 16/06/2023 yesterday we received so many discounts on vouchers and also the kids enjoyed themselves which really made the day and the experience special

The food was not fresh and nice at all. My daughter has been vomitting since we got home. Butternut was too sweet. I only found the drinks nice which was lemonade and passion fruit Nd lime. The play area too was okay either than that sorry something needs to be done in the kitchen I have a sick child. Thank God the 1yr old did not eat his food who knows I would have 2sick kids now.

Great food... Great service... I don't understand why they have to blast music throughout the entire store every time it's a person's birthday though....just let the waiters do their thing at the person's table...there's no need to inconvenience all the customers who just want to eat in peace...it's honestly incredibly annoying...

For the second time in a month that me and my family experience bad food. The service is average, but the food is terrible we eat at a lot of steak houses and restaurants, but the food at your restaurant is bad, cold, dry, it's as if we beg for food. I will never return to eat there again..... Worst experience for the money you spend

I have been a customer to this restaurant for 10+ years. Ordered a t bone steak today and received a foul smelling piece of meat. Response was that it is over matured. Yes we didn't have to pay and got a fresh one, which could not be eaten because of feeling sick to the stomach. The experience was unpleasant. Will not return there.

I went to have lunch with my family and afterwards I ordered takeaway which had Butternut and spinach. When I get home to serve dinner the spinach was smelling terribly and it looks rotten. I don't think anyone on a good state of mind will serve customers such stale stinky food

One of those best Spur restaurants. Super friendly staff who offer great service and pay attention to detail. They always have great promos that you don't find in many other Spur restaurants. They are Halaal.

The menu's were filthy messed with sauce. We sat there for 15mins and no waiter cam to take our order. We asked someone to call the manager but another waiter dismissed the other waiter.
