i went to renew my auto insurance, only chose this place because i was shopping at london drugs across the st. And boy am i glad i did! last year when i renewed my insurance ( at superstore) i only had a measley 5% discount..When my man Edianor at East village saw that i was only at 5 % he asked me how long ive been driving...25 yrs i said...he then tells me that there is no way i should only be at 5%. he tells me to hold on while he calls ICBC to see whats up...i try to tell him not to, that i would look into it. he says won't take but a few mins.....a few mins later it is discovered that i am actually at 30% discount!!!! once we stopped singing and dancing i start thanking him immensely. the guy just saved me 70$ a month....being a single dad, that is huge! people are always quick to use these review sections to write complaints, and take out there frustrations about icbc on the poor workers here that do not work directly for icbc. love this place

I 've had several vehicles insured here over the past 5 years and have always had efficient and knowledgeable service. Recently I've had a serious insurance issue that involved lengthy in depth communication and negotiation with ICBC and the province. Dave and his team went way above and beyond, spending several hours on the phone and writing emails, faxes and letters. This was not the kind of issue that other auto insurance agents would be able to tackle however Dave's raw talent persevered and he delivered what virtually everybody said was impossible. I can't imagine you will find anybody as skilled in the insurance industry than the brothers Rob and Dave. Thank you guys for all the fantastic service!

SOLD our car today , on a Sunday and found East Village Insurance located right across the street from London Drugs .I parked in the dedicated spots in the back .I had called earlier & spoke with Marco , he was polite & reassured me they were OPEN until 6pm on Sunday. First of all the interior is quite inviting and impressive Automotive decor & big executive office chairs for the Customers.It was a very rapid experience because Marco is professional.Thank You for lending us the tools for the plates ! Unfriendly office workers who don’t appear to appreciate the business. We’ve gone in to renew car insurance on 2 of our cars for last 3 years. Our luck, we only have time to go in on weekends, and we always get the same guy to process the renewal, even tho on weekends there’s 2 workers in there. Few weeks ago, went in to renew, 2 ladies working, yeh! Perhaps a better experience? …nahhh, just as unfriendly. Even tho this office is in our neighbourhood, will not be going back.

I have been using this company for 10 years and insured my wife and my own truck as well as my business, I have had a couple experiences with slow responses to my email, I needed a simple email sent to a client and had to call 5 times through out the day and still they never sent it. I also spent 2 weeks trying to get a response from them about a form. I spend a lot of money through this provider and think that there should be better customer support.

Went for house insurance and was told by the agent "In my opinion you may get better results from dealing with broker who is near this area??" I filled out the form indicating there was a detached garage and she replied back " There are 2 homes on this property ?? " Wow total incompetence and serious lack of motivation in my option. Your better off going somewhere else. The two brothers that owned the place were great , however I think they sold it

Went in on boxing day, I know I'm terrible, but the staff there was super helpful. She actually talked me through the situation, figured out my discount was off, asked me if I was in a rush and would be okay if she called in to confirm my discount, and secured me a top discount from the length of my safe driving record. A truly classy and selfless effort in customer service. I don't live in the area anymore, but I'll be back next year.

Great experience here. Our adjuster actually understood what makes our insurance go up and down and helped us pick the options we wanted to add or take off for a cheaper rate. (Our last insurance agency couldnt explain our options or answer any of our questions.) I think our guy's name was Markus? Very happy with his service, very glad we tried this place out!

Congratulations. I use to come here and I called today and a woman was rude on the phone. Talked to me like I’m dumb instead of being helpful. Now I’m never coming back here and they can receive a 1 star while at it. I called another place and they gave me great service and was friendly and patient, and was able to receive my insurance by today.

My first experience with Car insurance since moving to Canada...really friendly well educated staff made the process as painless as possible and gave me all the extra information I was inquiring after... Whoever answered the phone was professional but then transferred me to an Annie/Anne (sp?) who very impatiently told me to keep trying to call her in 10-15mins and seeing if she was available then because she was busy right now. I'll look for a place with literate staff who know how to write down names and numbers to call customers back.

Lazy asian lady was offering excuses and refusing to help saying she would have to call icbc and instead I should do it myself. I then turned to a table next to her with another employee Eddie who solved my problem in a matter of couple minutes, while the asian lady continued to check her personal emails. Thank you Eddie!

Edianor is the best broker in town. He was polite, patient and helped me a lot understand my insurance and how it works. After a few months, I got $150 bucks discount in my insurance policy using my discounts from Brazil. Also he helped me to get my personalized plate. I really recommend him.

David is super knowledgeable about insurance! Gives good advice about what insurance you should have and what is more on the optional side. Found East Village Insurance to be easier to work with than major bank-affiliated discount broker. Got a better policy and significantly cheaper.

I hope I could give zero star for this insurance company! The broker named william even messed up my invoice! ( other broker cover for him said oh it is really easy to messed up, so I am wondering the client who have the correct invoice must win the lottery of your office! )
