Attended Special Olympics here. The Park District does a good job of keeping the athletes moving and active while they wait to compete. Although the park is centrally located, parking is very limited during this event for safety reasons and to make drop off easier. The facilities are adequate with lots of portable toilets and hand sinks. The grassy areas could use a lot of work as it is very lumpy and uneven. The Stands should also be covered so that inclement weather doesn't interfere with sports events.

The outside of the stadium is nice. It has some pretty architecture. It's under construction though and has been for some time. I also visited this stadium as a child and I believe it was under some type.of construction then more than 20 years ago. Please restore this stadium we would like our facilities on the Southside to be fully useful.

I have been coming to this stadium since the early 70s. While it's used for high school football games and some other events? It's been long overdue for rehabilitation they are doing some construction at the site, so please let's fill those seats and preserve our neighborhood park and stadium.

I go here every year to attend the Special Olympics track and field events. I really wish the Chicago Park District would invest in making the grassy areas less lumpy. The uneven lawn makes the entire field an eyesore. Maybe they could cover the stands for better viewing in inclement weather.

I miss this track. so many days of love and hate here. but this track made me one of the top runners in the city. never for get this track and my days at south shore. hope this place gets remodeled. prefect place to hold fast track meets.

Field has been updated as well as the visitor bleacher. Still working on home side but I like where the stadium is heading. Much better from when i was running up and down that very same field

Nice place. Was able to park under shade trees. Home side bleachers under renovation. Lots of port-o-potties. Nice turf but a little hard on the elbows. 4 turf burns.

This is a beautiful stadium built in a neighborhood. Make sure to plan to arrive early to get the best parking or plan to walk a few blocks to enjoy the game.

atmosphere always pleasant plenty of sports activities for the youths everyone seems to be enjoying them and yes they are supervised by adults

Awesome place to host the Olympics every year! When I was in high school we played football here and I went to day camp here!

I remember this place 10 yrs ago i was in the special Olympics from 2013-2015 in 2014 i won a silver medal in a 100 yrd dash

I take my grandchildren to the park . They make new friends ... I like that. They keep it pretty clean . Fix the fountain

The park area was nice weather was good waiting for the track to open so you don't run into too many dogs

New field and broadcast booth real special place now. I remember when I was in highschool visiting here.

This stadium is clean and ran by professionals, I got to see a great high school football game here.

No overhead covering... Such a bad day for a game. Its all worth it when your team wins!

Only had port a potties, no concessions and fans of both schools have to sit together.

The special Olympics were held their for three days. The energy was unmeasurable
