I feel at home and the familiarity is comforting. The centre truly is the convergence point of the veins which channel the blood life of Edgemead. You are guaranteed to run into someone who you notice or, more often than not, someone who notices you. Every once in a while you may run into someone from the distant past, and have a second opportunity to kindle a friendship with them. Woolworth's is the closest shop to the Entrance / Exit of the centre where you are able to buy bread and milk, in case you're haven't woken up properly and you're are still in your sleepwear. Wonderful experience.

Small little mall, mainly catering for the locals. There is plenty of parking and most of what you could look for you will find there . There is a fairly large Spar, well stocked and full of specials, a Woolworth's food, Clicks, a hair dresser, a beauty shop, a florist, a post office, several nice eating places , gift shops, a biltong shop, a hardware, shoe repairs.....just about everything one could ask for. The mall is nicely designed and always clean and tidy. Always a pleasure to visit there

  • IZYCRAFTS

Parking attendants are very helpful.. Especially since we do our laundry at the centre. The laundry shop always has open washing machines and dryers.. Very friendly staff and owners.. Woollies food is for convenience quick shopping. The Spar is bigger with more variety.. Paint and hardware.. Video 2000 has crafts on display.. Florist.. Crafty stores.. Clicks.. Pizza.. Ocean Basket.. Not sure.. and medals.. TuisNywerheid.. Home Industry Store.. Biltong Bar etc etc

Good for a quick shopping trip or a bit of browsing, even though the centre is quite small. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, but the range of shops do make up for it. Love the two restaurants, but service at the smaller one had gone down a lot. Verdi's will be my first choice in future, they have also made an effort to upgrade over the years, and service is good. Love the little gift shops when in need of a present!

Village center, equipped with grocery shops which are usually very well stocked and fairly priced with great specials. The center has a few places to grab a quick bite or a cuppa and a fairly good pharmacy. The small clothing and crafty stores are quite interesting, always something unusual to buy there! Oh the hardware store is of great help when you need to DIY something around the house

Good parking facilities for all including the disabled. All shops are clean and promote a good sence of well being for all consumers types. There is a bar facility which has good live entertainment at times especially over the weekend without rowdiness overall. All the shops are well stocked that adds to the delight of shoppers. The area itself is relatively safe without incident so far.

Suburban strip mall with all the usual suspects. Woolies food, a superspar (although not the best one in the area, that's up in Plattekloof), a hairdresser, florist, Clicks pharmacy, pizza place, fish and chips, coffeeshop, bottle store, BP, couple of independent clothing retailers, optician and a hardware store. You'll find pretty much whatever you might need here, and a few more.

Spar serves amazing Sunday lunches. Woolworths Store is great for popping in to get last minute picnic/braai meals and wholesome salads. Lovely homemade bakery with most decadent cakes and tarts. Boasts a mini hardware store as well as Clicks pharmacy. So I love shopping there because of so many conveniences too. Ample parking spaces and easy access for disabled persons.

Always a pleasure to visit this quaint shopping centre. the Spar is first class and always the best produce from cold meats to fruit an veg and has imported products that are interesting to purchase. The shopping centre has a great pub, Verdi's, that makes awesome pizza. There also a hardware, chemist, liquor store, florist, biltong shop, basically everything one needs.

A friendly safe local shopping centre with plenty of parking and patrolling parking security. It has excelllent anchor tenants, Spar, Tops, Woolworths, Clicks with its pharmacy, Lashies, Crazy Daisy a post office, jeweller, optician, fish shop, Rocksole, 2 gift shops, beautician, hairdresser and two restaurants as well as a few others. Something for everyone.

  • Maritza Hansen

A pleasant, quaint and convenient shopping mall with a Clicks / pharmacy, hardware store, clothing stores, Spar, optometrist, Crazy store, eateries, beauty salon, sweets shop, general store, woolworths. It also has a play area. It is close to doctors and a petrol station. You can all of your shopping in one small area. There are dedicated car guards.

This shop has has just about everything you are looking for. The produce is fresh - the merchandising is clear - it is clean, organised. I especially go and shop there when I visit my friends who live nearby. I used to live in Edgemead and this Spar has grown and developed by leaps and bounds in the last few years. The prices are also reasonable.

  • donovan esterhuizen

A cute little 'all-in-one' mall. Everything a quant community needs in one place. Edgemead SPAR take-out food on par, if not better than many so-called 'top' restaurants. I know. I'm a tourist guide. The mall has everything other malls have except the plenty of clothing stores. A user--friendly mall with free parking. Thanks. Donny.

  • Manuel Wakefield

Convenience of Woolies, Clicks and a variety of smaller retail businesses such as Crazy Store and various take away outlets. Spar is the anchor tenant, well established in the area but over-priced and good luck if you need to return anything. Drive further if you can, Bothasig Spar is so much better and open till 9pm most evenings.

  • Denise Bester

Excellent service from woolworths yesterday .They went out of their way to help me find what i was looking for .Not only did they help but also offered me a discount card which made my day .Thanks to the friendly cashier and gentlemen who assisted me with the emoji choclates .Well Done !!! Thumbs up to u .

My very BIG grip is that when I went to use the bathroom I had to pay R 2.00 and when I tried to put my money into a broken slot the door wouldn't open. I would expect for the money everyone is putting in that the bathrooms would be serviced. I won't go to Edgemead Centre again. And I love the Nunu Salon.

  • Kelvin Brink

Very popular local shopping center where you can get what you looking for. it has a Spar, Woolworths, Clicks and a bottle store.Parking can be an issue you ther between 4pm and 6pm as everyone goes there after working to get items for supper. It also has a local pub where you can meet some of the locals.

  • Mel7 Williams

If you don't want to drive far, great place to get the necessities. Woolworths, Spar, Clicks, Pet Shop, hair salon, crazy store, jewellery store, florist, travel agent, fish shop, vida cafe, pep stores, pizza place, homemade cake shop, beauty salon, barksole, atm, clothing store - lot of options.

  • Lucia

Love this stop. It is very convenient. Clicks New Pep home, Crazy store, flower shop, lovely jewelers, Spar, fisheries and a lovely shop that sells home made cakes. There is a pizza shop and abot 2 restaurants but I did not make use of there services yet so I am unable to comment about it.

  • Celeste Marais

First time for me.at Edgemead Village Shopping Centre. Everything was so clean, Loved the feeling of being under trees. Also loved the green carpet for trolley pushing so as not make too much noise on the cobblestone floor. Overall a very nice shopping experience …

  • MANDY DAY

For a small convenient shopping Centre in the Edgemead area it isn't bad. It has a Wooly's, Spar, Bottle Store, Dry Cleaners, Clicks and after all that it has a coffee shop and a small kids play area. It is clean and very functional for the people who live in the area

  • Virginia Jacobs

It is very convenient for those who live close by. You can do your weekly grocery shopping there or just pop in for a quick buy. Verdis bar keeps the locals entertained evenings and weekends. There are even a few clothing stires as well as a Crazy store.

  • Caleb Jacobs

This is our Sunday Store as we go here for our cooked lunch at the Spar. It has a Woolworths, Clicks and Spar and a few other convenience stores including two small restaurants. Also a filling station and car wash. Nice friendly shopping complex.

  • Zubeida Mayet

Quaint shopping centre, with spar, woolworths, clicks, hairdresser, beautician.post office and numerous shops for gifts and movies etc.lovely fountain and kiddie play area. Everything is easily accessible.ample free parking. Petrol garage close by.

  • Leigh Wilson

Convenient, close to home. There I frequent the SuperSpar, Clicks, Woolies food, Jack's hardware, Thai Hut, Vets Mart, Crazy Store, the ATM and BP petrol station. Gets busy - parking is scarce and uncovered, lacks shade from sun heat and rain.

  • Wendy Goetze

Some of the shops I would give a full 5 stars (Woolies, Pep Home) others 1 star (Clicks)...security 2 stars because they are friendly but not really good at security when things go wrong (personal experience) so a 3 all round as an average.

  • Cassy Cave

It's such a lovely centre and you can get most of what you need here. Theres a small jungle gym for the kids, and sometimes they do little events (like arts and crafts) for the kids. The only thing that's missing is a family clothing store.

  • Alex K.K. KITENGE

Green carpet treatment to every store; making shoppers feel good! However, this can look dusty at times and ending up making the center old. The easy layout makes things simple when looking for a specific store. Love the restaurants.

  • Barbara Eyssen

Wonderful selection of shops, exactly the kind of shopping centre I love. Helpful car guards, plenty parking. Love it the I cam just dash in and get exactly what I need without trailing around a mall. Suppose that gives away my age!

  • Mariana Wepener

Love Spar especially, clean and spacious aisles. Their Bakery sells the most devine caramel baked cheesecake tart - only from Fridays over the weekends - I drive from Parow to Edgemead every week just for the baked cheesecake tart.

  • Rian Jacobs

Nice, I liked it. Has a more personal touch.... The SPAR is very expensive with the meat products. You can do much better. Enjoyed the coffe shop. And did enjoy my time in the centre itself. Had to pay R2 to use the gents bathroom.

  • Grant Boo

Tired of car guards who believe their mere presence entitles them to payment. I am a experience driving capable of finding my own parking. The mere presents of a car guard does not entitle them to payment for finding you parking.

  • Melanie Littlefield

Love Edgemead centre. Spar Always clean and the staff are friendly. Management always around to help. Love Edgemead Centre, basically a shop for everything. Just the clicks that need to work on there service, taje l way too long.

  • Laura Ryke

It has the essential places and nice food available. Service at the big shops could improve. Center management should think about putting solar panels over the patting area. Would provide power and protection at the dame time.

  • Melissa Heydenrych

I love this Spar. This is my Favorite Spar to go to. Aways clean and organized, food at the deli is always delicious. And theres a few other stores surrounding the Spar that you can drop by along the way to the Spar Entrance.

  • Brian te Water

Parking can be a problem. The shops are numbered on their store layout, but very few shops have their numbers displayed. I suppose if one is a regular shopper that doesn't matter, but for a visitor, somewhat irritating.

  • Jason Rinquest

Nice little shopping centre, very convenient and they have everything you need in one small mall. Convenience shopping, food, pharmacy, fast food and more. More than enough parking outside and easy access to the centre

  • Candice Bartsch

Edgemead Shopping Centre is a well kept, small yet sufficient shopping centre which holds all your basic stores - Clicks, Spar, Woolies as well as a few cafes, fast food restaurants, clothing stores and collectables.

  • Michael Frew

Convenient shopping centre central to Edgemead and Bothasig areas. The Spar is fantastic with friendly staff and great atmosphere. There is also a Tops next door with a wide range of wines and other spirits …

  • Wendy Clarke

Convenient Centre if you don't want to go to a mall, they have a clicks, Woolworth, take aways bottle store, crazy store, florist, gift shop, hardware and a new Thai take out that makes the most amazing Thai food.

  • Carl Nieuwstad

A great smaller centre. It has the feeling of a gardem village. Free parking. Safe. A helpful store selecton including: Woolworths Food, Clicks, vet shop, laundry, hardware store, Spar and quite a few others.

  • Malfan

I like this shopping center quite a lot. I can go in and out with no fuss, there's sufficient parking available. I went to the Post Office and it was easy to find with the help of friendly security officers.

  • megan leahy

The print shop in this shopping centre is the best to deal with, they really know whats up!! and the quality is amazing! Not like most print places who's staff cant work the programs needed to do the work...

  • Clinton Lekay

One of my favorite shopping centre's to shop for daily needs. Clean, always on the ball and always in stock. Owner and Managament are hands-on and always delivering consistency. Would recommend always 100%

  • Nqobizwe Ngubane

This centre is not bad at all. A little dated, but the real issue for me is coin operated public toilets. I find that distasteful, to not even give toilets to people who are supporting your centre.

  • Dewald Van Ellewee

Though at times extremely busy and low on parking, it has to be said that there is a reason why this center is busy. Good assortment of shops and well maintained. It even has a place for the kids!

  • Leon Uys

The owners and operators of this centre is getting it right, for sure. From the balance of tenants, to the cleanliness of the toilets, adequate parking and happy staff. Always a favourite stop.

  • Brendan Gradwell

Good selection of shops, Crazy Store, Spar and Woolworths plus a Clicks and a optometrist to name just a few that are available. Always plenty parking available and parking for moms and tots.

  • Nadieyah hassiem

I loved the laundry that I visited, with a choice of self service or drop off. The extended self service hours are really convenient. The Spar is very busy but pleasant shopping experience.

A good one-stop-shop kind of centre . . . SPAR, CLicks and Woolies make up the anchor tenants, there are a few takeaways and sit down venues there that are well worth a visit.

  • Gail van Litsenborgh

Great spar, clean centre and some interesting shops. Village hardware store donated paint to Capetonians Against Animal Abuse to brighten up the kitten area. Thank you …

  • Johan Nilsson

A nice and small shopping centre with most services available; good coffee, ATMs, takeaway food, grocery shopping etc. A sit down restaurant or two would make it even better.

  • CombatWombat

This spar is a joke. Staff unfriendly, owner thinks everyone is trying to steal and managers follow you around. Go to Ceder spar. Alot of stuff is cheaper there as well

  • Ivan van Niekerk

Great setup of this centre, makes you feel like you are transported into a different city of country. Very nice shops, big Spar and Woolworths, highly recommended.
