In my opinion, as a local to the area, this park has potential to be amazing however the way it is right now is'nt really working. There is a childrens playground and basketball court that are in the middle of the play field and the walking paths. All the dogs make using the amenities very difficult and unsafe. Considering not all children are aware of how to interact with dogs and not all dogs know how to interact with little kids while they're playing! Its also important to note that this off leash area isnt fully fenced but is boxed in by buisnesses and streets aswell as the very busy manchester square. This makes it unsafe to have youre dogs offleash because theres so much going on even with reliable recall it's not very ideal. If this park had a fully enclosed off leash area to privide some seperation and safety than i think it would be an amazing park.

People who live north of 111 Ave and east of 127 st would be familiar with this pathway, turned greenbelt, turned off leash area, years before anyone else did but this is a nice little path and not all that little. It is accessible from many entry points and runs most of the portion between 111 and 118 avenue. Feels like it goes on forever. Would be considered Westmount area and Infact has a wee monument of the homesteaders of that area. Little nostalgia for the like minded. For an off leash area, it is lovely and roomy and offers benches and open areas along the walk. Far enough away from busy streets and neighboring communities that it offers some stress free relief from the world.

I love bringing my puppy to this park, try and go at least a couple times a week as it's close to my home and most of the locals go here. Only drawback is only one side is fenced and it can be hard to get your dog back on a leash for the small portion of the park that isn't off leash. Hoping eventually the city gets around to fencing the west side of the park, so that it's less of a danger for the back alley traffic and dogs running and playing. But I do recommend this park to as many people with pups as I can.

This is a small park, dedicated to the Edmonton Grads. The Women’s basketball team (1915-1940) that holds the record to this day as the winningest North American sports team. They won 95% of their games in their 25 years. The park is on the edge of a residential area and borders on a back lane. There is a commemorative plaque briefly outlining the teams accomplishments and listing team members names.

It’s an offleash dog park, so unless you’re there to walk your dog, good luck using the kids playground or basketball courts. It’s a shame the city has put an offleash area next to amenities that are not compatible. Nobody uses the playground, since it’s full of dogs all the time. If you’re just walking or biking through, it’s a nice strip of green space.

Very nice park with a playground and basketball court and a walking trail. It is dated and worn out a bit. It’s clean and well lit. No washroom facilities. The nice thing about this place is that it provides a brief history of the Edmonton Grads women’s basketball team and some local history of the Westmount area. So overall a nice park.

Just an ordinary Edmonton Park representing Extraordinary female athletes! Their stats were amazing! They had a 96% score for winning games. I think they lost 5 games? They were National Champions! They were World Champions! & I think they were in the Pan American games three times but only lost once?

Watch out for dogs. The children's playground is not an off leash area. Still, people running the off leash trail with are reluctant to leash their dogs by the kids park and let them run into the playground around little kids. Near miss between a toddler and aggressive dog today.

It's a great park dogs walking and kids. Wish the bicycles weren't allowed to ride through. They go too fast. Dangerous for kids dogs and adults walkinh/playing f. It is an off each park after all.

My little pups love socializing here and it’s such a beautiful landscape in all seasons. Long green space that ends at Manchester Square great place to grab a coffee afterwards!

  • Chris Gledhill

Nice little dog park close to downtown, long strip of green along 4 blocks or so. Playground and basketball court as well, benches and picnic tables as well. Nice hidden gem.

Great little rest area on that long bike ride from the North to South Edmonton. Its quiet little place to rest with beautiful trees, even when there are others around.

Delightful Off-leash dog park with plenty of benches, a children's play area and basketball hoop. Easy parking, easy walking distance to Oliver Square.

Nice little off leash park where my dog can play with others. There is a fence and good lighting for those long winter nights

  • Danielle Sinasac

Great off leash area for those living downtown. But be careful as a lot of people in the park may not like dogs.

  • Linda

Chilly day, but lots of people and their dogs enjoying the Sunday afternoon. Little playground fun for kids.
