Parking lot
"Great access to Edworthy Park and Angel's Cafe"
"Awesome place to come either by yourself or with some friends and family"
"Love this park"
"The road into the lot is actually a street but not enough space for parking"
"Easy access and many different directions to go from the lot"
Great access to Edworthy Park and Angel's Cafe. My frustration with this lot is how when it gets busy people park all over the place, blocking in other vehicles. There are no marked lines for parking so generally there is one long line along the back, and two tapering out (it's a pie shaped lot) in the middle and front. However people also park along the road and parallel park at the end of lanes making it extremely difficult to get out sometimes. Currently, there are gates all around this lot as the city prepares to build some sort of substation (water or power).
Awesome place to come either by yourself or with some friends and family. A pair of hiking shoes, a fishing rod, a bag of firewood and some hot dogs, or a set of binoculars are all things that will give you a full day of fun here. It can be busy but there are hiking trails, fire pits, and gazebos to use. Four hour parking. Lots of birds on the water and along the rivers edge. Caught 2 whitefish from the sunken island on April 13th in a deep winter pool. I recommend using a fly rod or ultralight spinners.
Love this park. Soooooo busy with ppl and dogs and bikes march wknd. Some cyclist going thru park are serious cyclists and very rude with kids and walkers. They need to walk their bikes thru or pick another park. Its not a race area. Lots of parking spots but very hard to find. Lots of pot holes. So much mud and surface water. Wear gumboots. Look forward to warmth and area drying out more.
The road into the lot is actually a street but not enough space for parking. Frequently visitors to the park block the 2 lane road to the residences to less than 1 lane!! The city does not maintain the dirt lot nor put up proper parking lanes. The road itself has a lot of potholes also. People should use the actual parking lot on the south side of the river.
Easy access and many different directions to go from the lot...there really is something for everyone, and all ages -- you can go in any direction and depending on your direction, find walks, parks, beach, bridge, walking and biking trails, and a place for Angels and icecream (lots more great choices).
Love this place. Great place to stop if you want to do a short bow river floatfrom Bowness park! Angles cafe is there and the staff is amazing! Great spot for a picnic or BBQ with the family. They have public washrooms and benches as well.
Never have I seen absolutely everything so brilliantly green, on the 7th of September. Edworthy, Bowness, Baker Park are all breathtakingly beautiful! All I could say my entire ride is wow! And thank God I get to do this ride at 70 …
Very nice place to spend time with family or even when you are alone. The park has tall trees to rest under the shade or just walk by the river. Just make sure you have your eyes open for bikers or people on skate or electric scooters.
Love the exercise equipment. They should have stuff like this at all the parks within the city. Believe it would get a lot of use. Angels cafe is a great place to meet up with friends and chill. Public washrooms open during the summer.
This park is so beautiful. Lots of place for picnic and BBQ. You can also enjoi riverbank in the park. Park and trails are so well maintained. There is two parking lots available. It also has some kids play area.
Lot full bad parking all the time City workers park there cars there and ride into downtown. Should have limited time parking. Then people could enjoy the park. You can bet City Halls behind this B.S.
Beautiful paved pathways and mulch trails. The pedestrian bridge under Crowchild trail is open. Plenty of parking, toilets are open and so is Angels Cafe
Lots of parking. Variety of areas. Playgrounds, picnic tables, river access. Trails. Shade and sun. Ride bikes. Cpr tracks. Caution but cool for kids.
My favorite park in town. But the construction over there is just ruining this place by reducing the parking space. What a mess...
Love that this park hosts disability fund raising. Beautiful walk. The river the flowing water was wonderful.
The place is good but make sure to go early ..otherwise you have to struggle to get parking space.

One of the best parking lots you can imagine. Valet service for free every night!
This golden moss was so bright yellow I couldn't help but take a shot of it.
Yes, as expected you can park here. Also it's free of charge. Any questions?
Very good place to go for a evening walk. Just watch out for the cyclists.
Love this park, it's for all ages and there's something to do for everyone
