Nice public common. Not much in the way of facilities so bring your own food and drink (a Café in the Park would be nice and some proper sand pits for dog poo). There’s a small children’s playground, due for refurbishment, a couple of basic small tennis courts and football field. The common stretches from near Fulham Broadway (come in via the junction on the corner near the old town hall), and down to New Kings Rd (where there are some motorbike shops, guitar shop, dry cleaners, walk right for 5 minutes for the trendy cafés and shops of Parson’s Green. Lots of space all disconnected, so a bit of a mish-mash, it’s not somewhere you’d come and look at the display of flowers, they’re are few if any. A reasonable amount of benches and access for wheelchairs from all sides. It doesn’t close at night as it isn’t self contained. There are shaded parts for the heat of the summer and a large open green for picnics (no public tables or chairs either) or sunbathing. No water facilities. Good for jogging and cycling, though wouldn’t jog there really late at night (after 11) unless on the main paths as it’s not well lit. There’s a shaded dog walking enclosure at the very bottom of the green, along and to the right by New Kings Rd. Gated but open to the public for your dog to walk and poo in. There’s a bandstand/rain shelter, a good space for locals but not anything special to come and visit. Served by 28, 285, 11 and other buses. Some small shops near the bus stops. Outdoor Café at top end near Fulham Broadway (which is also the nearest tube station).

Empty and dirty place. Horrible bin. No playground for dogs no tables or anything nice over there. Horrible old fences everywhere. Only small playground for children. Just empty place in the heart of Fulham it is is a shame for this county that park in Fulham is so bad and no one care .I tried to ask for some improvements but they just lied, told me that there are no funds for it, but they just our make money to tier pockets those fake MPs and nothing changed there I will like vomit to go there. Such a rich country and can't make this park nice .it is some joke I would say

  • mimi habib

went dogwalking here with my jack russell. A good experience except for people kept trying to talk to me, even when I explained my dog was nervous around strangers and didn’t want to be pet. Grass is well kept but there needs to be some etiquette rules around here because it put my dog and I through a lot of unnecessary anxiety having strangers thinking they had the right to touch her and talk to me.

Love this park ..only wished the council put or provide a gym area with machines like there are in normand park .and permanent portable toilets in the 4 corners of the park .many elderly or sick people cannot go the other far end of north end rd to use tge open gym !!! THANKS ..keep our parks clean please !!! Long live nature .we need green areas in big cities !!! Thanks a lot

Lovely. It's perfect to go with the kids to play ball, and for people who have dogs too. There are some people without empathy who do not resort to the excretion of their pets, so children who play unfortunately have to be careful, but in general great place and quite tranquil is relaxing. Note: There were several couples also I think it is because it is quiet.

  • Allan Walker

A pleasant green space that caters for all ages with a children's play area. At time of visit noticed plenty of Person Trainer occupying large areas with their classes thus restricting where one could go. Some PTs were using the trees and benches etc as part of their equipment. Thereby weakening these and becoming dangerous to those who want to enjoy this area.

Great, simple, place for walking the dog. Not the greenest, and has the constant noise of cars passing bye. It has a kids park with swings and etc. It also has a tennis court and football court, both witch are not in the best condition. It has gained a community of dog walkers using it, and is a generally nice area to walk through in a otherwise busy town.

  • Colin Westmoreland

Poor supervision by "parents" , " schoolteachers " ,enable older children to dominate playground equipment, for me to many dogs off leads especially in this hot weather considering the awful spate of dog attacks
Features

Public restrooms: No
Off-leash dog area: No

I drive past it everyday. Very busy in the summer time with families and couples sitting down on the grass enjoying themselves. A very good atmosphere. Feels very safe. Their is also a fair that comes here once or twice a year. Shops are nearby if you want food or drink and Parsons Green tube station is a short walk away.

  • Damien Step

The place should re refurbished a long ago. It is very dirty there. All fances are not painted .only small kinder play groud for children. No any nice play ground for dogs . All it is not look after. No nice benches. No nice table for adults . Just all its wrong there . Very unsorted place !!!

  • Michel Tieuli

The common has an area for football and a small tennis court. However, the area is used by many people walking their dogs, so it might not be the cleanest green. Happily, there is a fenced toddler's play area in the middle of the common and seating dotted along the pedestrian walkways.

  • jeff benjamin

A lawned open space with pathways, a variety of scattered mature trees sports facilities, a playground with a pub and restaurant on the periphery. Maintained to a high standard, very much serves as an example of an understated local public amenity fulfilling its mandate.

  • Amir Howe

It's a very nice park however it takes a while for the mud to dry if it has rained so I would advise waiting a couple of days after it has rained so the grass won't be so muddy. There may also be some dips in the grass so be careful when running as you may hurt yourself

  • Richard Loat

Nice big park to grab lunch if you work nearby. Lots of dogs about usually and nice if you're looking to have a change of scenery while on an lunch-time run. There's five-aside football pitches that are first come first served and are a great way to spend lunch time.

  • Raquel Fernández Segura

Wonderful place to do some training on the day to day. You can find plenty of exercises groups. I did also celebrated my birthday . The only negative point is that there is not toilets around and the closes public toilet is next to Sainsbury’s in the mall …

  • Brandon Cheung

Lovely park, was visiting on a trip and stopped by since I heard some of the program "Made in Chelsea' had been filmed there. Very open and spacious, a luxury in London. Very nice though, sat down with a halloumi falafel wrap from a little stall down the road.

  • Chung Sam

Nice little urban park that's quite busy as you can imagine. Lacking immediate facilities like a cafe or snake bar. Although there a pub and Lebanese grills restaurant opposite and adjacent to the park. Street parking is good locally n free after 5pm.

  • Mohammed aakhil

its good park . very wide are . there is Basketball court and there are places you can rest. you can conduct any programs, training, and activities anything because its a very big place.
Playground
its a huge park. good place for your kids.

  • Marley Hill

Nice enough for the locals but a bit too crowded for me compared to Putney Heath, Richmond Park and Putney Lower Common. Also lots of dogs so if you are not a dog person be aware. I happen to love dogs so I was OK with them coming up off the lead.

  • Andrew Barrenger

Grassy common area, for all ages, with plenty of room to play games, train, boot-camp or picnic. Clean and tidy. Two outdoor tennis courts in reasonable condition, £11 per hour but free 7am to 8am, book online. Football and basketball courts too.

  • Alina Sss

Quite big park, great playground for the kids, shadowed alleys for walks, plenty of benches to sit on, plenty of bins. Wide grass area for sunbathing, playing, walking the dogs, etc. I wish people had more respect and stopped throwing rubbish

  • Eva

Big open area, with tennis courts and football ground, no dog area for families with little kids. Needs some looking after, playground is due to be refurbished. All in all it’s a good park for walking, dog walking, exercise and picnic …

  • JR Suarez

Lovely park. In 1883 and in 1891 Fulham F.C., played their home games here. During World War II, an underground bunker was located here to protect residents during the Blitz. Chelsea Football Club help to create an astroturf pitch which

  • Thomas Barrell

A tidy bit of open space with a nice children's play area, a couple of tennis courts and 5-a-side pitches. A good place to walk the dog and mingle with other dogs walkers. Too many 'personal trainers', Aussies playing rugby and potheads.

  • Jon Peterson

It's a common not a park alright. Less stroll and picnic than outdoor gym, dog walking arena and commuter cut through. I never criticise a green space in London, but this one is a practical local amenity, rather than a beautiful park.

  • Christian Huant

Beautiful park in the heart of Fulham, provides a peaceful place away from the hubbub. Shady patches under trees, benches along the tarmac paths (good for cycling or running, or wheelchairs). The playground is nice for kids.

  • Jimmy McLoughlin

Local park to where I grew up, fine for everything from walking your dog, playing sports to chilling in the sun. Two playgrounds at either end of the common, the one closer to New Kings Road is by far the better of the two.

  • Stephen Gilby

Great to relax the only problem I have had on a couple off occasion there have been drunks using a covered seating near the new kings rd and using it as a urinal in daylight when children are playing near by

  • Lawrence De Sousa

Really beautiful patch of green in Fulham. A lot of open space with a children's area for those with kids and 5-a-side football pitches. Very close to both Fulham Broadway and Parsons Green Tube stations.

  • Osikhenai Akpene

What's not to like in the rapidly vanishing public spaces with greenery. Grass and trees with the wind caught in the leaves, a bit of escape from the bustle of the city. Could always do with more space ;)

  • JOSE I. CONTRERAS UZCATEGUI

It's been a treat having this park nearby. Specially and valuable during lockdowms. A enjoyable spot, perfect to roll out your picnic mat and enjoy some most needed, respire. Ideal for working remotely.

  • annak rozkosz

Lovely place, clean, nice, great for dogs and picnic. Very safe!!
Playground
Good but kids are too loud
Dog-friendliness
Perfect for dogs
Picnic area
Lovely and clean

  • Herbert Tuck

Good dog run-around area. Not too big, but big enough for doggos to have some fun. New grass needed as it's all turned to dirt and mud, and community toy exchange needs to be reinstated.

  • Glenys Williams

The sun was shining! I wanted to spend some nice relaxing time in it. It wasn't as relaxing as I would've liked as the school children were using the courts next to the dog free area...

  • DJ S

Nice green space next to the highly congested old kings road which has a funfair for the under 10's 2-3 times a year and small mixed use basketball/5 a side pitches in the north end.

  • Alexandra Ilianova

It's nice to see that this communal place is developing and well maintained. The playground was completely redone is past years, transforming it into a great and inclusive kids zone

  • Mariam

Nice park to grab a coffee with a friend and catch up - not my favourite, I prefer bishops park, Holland park in the area and then reagants if you're willing to go a little further.

  • Carrie Huang

Really nice park with a variety of areas. We particularly like the children's playground as it caters to different age groups. It's also a pleasant walk through to Fulham Broadway.

  • The Ornate Journal

Nice, sundown here can be quite pretty, lots of kiddies and lots of dogs. Seen a few people workingvout here and having boxing classes. Not a lot space for bikes or roller skating

  • Richard Mayhew

Plenty of room to exercise, though walking a dog will need to be on a lead. Ideal for groups to social distance and picnic, or drink under the sun. Popular on weekends etc

  • Doğucan Baskın

Nice green area in Fulham. It isn't pretty or special but since there aren't much green areas around its nice to have this one. seems like a great place for dog walking

  • kuriakose augustine

It's a calm and peaceful place to relax, can come for a walk with pets and it has a good football pitch to play 5's but it seems we have to pay to play from there.

  • Dennis. A Lindsay

Nice and simple, lovely place for the kids to play
Playground

Nice park for quiet stroll, lovely outdoor space. Close to coffee shops and park cafe on corner. Only downside this park does not have public toilets. More

  • Nathan Fowler

A nice large open space with tennis courts and kids playground. The grass can sometime be a bit messy especially with bottle tops and the remains of BBQs
