Too many teenagers in the vicinity, but they make some carne asada fries that are straight ! I would recommend them to anyone passing by it's worth the possible barrage of stupidity coming from McDaniels High School.

They have a decent kid's meal I believe it's about 5 bucks or so and it's got a decent amount of food.

I got 3 tacos (all different meats), 1 tostada (seasoned beef), and a horchata. The tacos were really good although the chicken one was on the dry side but the hot sauces/lime made up for that! I was ready to give a 5/5 until I got to the tostada. The flour shell was dark and over cooked and I got a little hurt running into a bone. Took a picture of the sharp thing. Service was good and man seemed nice. Horchata was on the pricey side but tasty. Maybe I got unlucky?

No open you can get here and probably no service .. I don't think I've got the wrong place. The place had the illuminated open sign and I tried to enter through the two metal doors, nobody opened it. I sincerely ask you to be more professional or make sure that your staff is acting correctly the light was turned on inside. maybe they closed for a moment I don't know... but I wish you success and maybe I'll come back and have a better experience

Been eating at this stand for the last year. I work construction and I'm a taco truck connoisseur. El catrin is the best. No one compares. The pastor, the creamy salsa, the carnitas. Do yourself a favor and get 4 tacos, each a different meat, and know bliss.

Ordered food from this place because I wanted to try a new restaurant. What was listed as being included in what I ordered was not what I got. The item was listed as coming with a side of beans, as well as having sour cream and onions on it. There were NO BEANS, NO SOUR CREAM, and NO ONIONS! $9 I paid for the worst meal I’ve ever had! Never ever going back.

Chorizo picaditas were ridiculously delicious. Asada and carnitas tacos were good. Pastor burrito was flavorful and filling. Salsas are spicy and TASTY. Service is friendly and fast. Worth the stop!

The bread for my cemita was hard as a rock. The person I was eating with was given fresh bread. A sandwich with stale bread is terrible. There was no way they didn't know they were giving me stale bread, so this was a terrible experience. I'm not sure what I did to deserve such a bad sandwich.

This place is fire. Best tacos in Portland. Pastor is off the hook. The freshly made corn tortillas are the best I’ve ever had and I grew up in Texas. The green jalapeño and the orange habanero salsas are super dank! You can tell that they take much pride in their food. Love this place!!!!!!!

Coming from Texas, we didn’t have the highest expectations but needed our tacos. Was not expecting to have a little piece of home here. Everything we tried was amazing. Salsas have flavor and are actually spicy and not some colorful bs. The best taco spot in town hands down!!!!

I could spend half an hour waxing poetic on the nuances of the menu telling you about how good the carnitas are. We could speak for a full day about the flan. Just come here and try it... Juan and his team know exactly what they are doing. Also good portion for the money.

Ok so customer service not that good but yknow what the guy worked alone when I was there and people got impatient and left me oh well i just stayed because I figured i dont care about the service I just care if the food is good or not it was excellent.

I am used to tacos on the east coast and this place changed my life. Everything was so flavorful and the corn tortillas were still sizzling when I opened the box. I've never had better tacos and I will return here as soon as I'm back in the area.

Some of the best food in Portland, hands down. You have to taste it to believe it. I've never had anything less than a great experience eating here. And the prices are very affordable. What more could you ask for?

Best enchiladas de mole! Los mejores, en serio. I'm from the States but lived in Mexico City for a couple of years. I've been searching for enmoladas like the ones in the D.F. and I finally found them. So good!

We decided to stop by a food truck for tacos and are glad we came to El Catrin. The fresh cilantro, lime and green salsa complimented the tasty beef we chose. Thanks for a great quick lunch!

This is seriously one of the best Mexican spots in Portland. Their homemade tortillas and mole are on point! Probably the best carnitas I’ve ever had as well.
