They did a beautiful job on my mom's funeral. She looked amazing. The price was not what I expected, but I don't know the going rates for funerals, so it would have been a shock wherever I went. They are professional, supportive, and actually listen to the family so that if they can the try to meet their needs. Reverend Cecil Logan gave the message and considering he did not know my mom he provided words of comfort that were definitely comforting to the family. He provided and home going celebration instead of a regular funeral. I will use them if their services are ever needed again. No one is ever ready for a death in the family, but they will provide a comforting place to put your family member's needs in.

Eley & Sons was very courteous and respectful to my family at our time of need. All of Eley’s staffing were so helpful. They was even ready to jump in and help me with a few issues I had with a outside flower company on some missing flowers .They made sure we had everything we needed by having tissues and water bottles and things that we needed to be comfortable and COVID safe while we grieved our love one. I had a great experience with this funeral home. I had called three places in the area, and Richard was the only person who showed empathy and compassion before talking pricing. We talked for probably 20 minutes, as the others didn’t give condolences and hurried me off the phone. When I went to the chapel, his staff members treated me like family, and embraced me while I cried, providing scripture and comfort. While my family is not local, they have communicated and gave great hospitality to myself and loved ones.

So Eley & Sons has always been my favorite funeral company when it comes to how they handled the deceased, they make the person look beautiful like they're just asleep. But now I know firsthand that Eley & Sons also handles the funeral with excellence! They are extremely kind, sensitive to your needs, professional and can get folks from a to b in a timely fashion. I found Eley and Sons to be very professional. They provided great service and worked within my budget. They were amazing on the day of my Mothers funeral! They helped us through everything. I expected a motorcycle escort just from past experience with other funeral homes. But no they provided a full escort with cars! It was absolutely awesome! I can’t say enough, they were simply the best!

I am very saddened by the way this establishment treated my family during our time of need. They were rude, insensitive, possess an inability to communicate effectively, and very unorganized! It brought us such grief & sadness to be demeaned & verbally assaulted the day before our loved ones funeral. We were flabbergasted by Prudence & the Eley family. Please save yourself the headache.

My family absolutely loved the service provided by eley and sons funeral home. Richard was very nice and courteous, the office staff is very professional and understanding.
