Do not apply for any visa here. they just love to sit on your application for over 15 days and then at the slightest inconvenience will send your application, which even when complete according to every requirement, without any notice or information to the immigration office in Brussels. I applied for a student visa on 7th august and till 25 I heard nothing. On 27 I was called to fill up a questionnaire and submit additional documents. The next day I found out that my application was sent to immigration office. only later did i find out that the application had reached immigration office on 27th morning, which meant that they sent my application without even waiting for additional documents. today its the 22 of October almost 2 and half month and the status of my application is still under processing on the immigration office website(on mails they say it takes 3-6 weeks and its been way beyond 6 weeks already). I sent a copy of the entire application to the university admission cell and they said that the application was complete in every possible form. due to the incompetence of the people working here I lost the opportunity to study in an Erasmus program (getting into which is an entirely different challenge in itself!) the consulate in Bombay processes applications within 4-7 days!! also I am not the only case.. around 7-8 other students suffered the same fate as me.

I am surprised that I am facing the same problem that was mentioned in the review which was written 2 years back. It means that they haven't improved their services yet. Very Frustrating. I am waiting for my Schengen Visa from last 35 days and haven't received any feedback till now, when my flight to Belgium is on the day after tomorrow. i.e Do not apply for Schengen tourist Visa at Belgium consulate. It takes 60 days for them to take a decision for tourist visa! In the meantime, the website they ask you check the status is broken. If you call them 100 times, you might get through once and then a rude lady will give you a curt and standard response. Your call will be cut in less than a minute before even you can say anything.

Wanted to give 0 star. Their response is so pathetic. Applied visa for my parents and their response is null. It's been two months and they still haven't replied to us. I tried calling few times and their behavior is so generic and they ask to check on their site rather than confirming over call. People who are facing the same, we together should definitely take action against it. My request to Embassy, kindly do not block the passport for 2 to 3 months. Its pathetic.

Very poor service from Belgium embassy, they take 2 months just to decide for tourist visa then reject visa without a strong reason only silly excuses I think the govt of Belgium they don't want any Indian Traveller come to Belgium that's why they doing this but this is not fair you taking so long time just to say Yes/No and then rejecting visa wasting people's time & money

The lady phone operator is abrupt, uncourteous, has some tone of arrogance in her voice (she is Indian). Hangs up the phone. No one answers the call in the Visa section. I'm handicapped, on wheelchair, have very limited mobility & functionality. I explained everything to the lady. I don't know what to do. I hope they hire more courteous, professional staff from India. Thank you

Worst visa processing consulate. They do not pick up calls or reply to emails on time. They process your visa in the longest possible time that can lead to cancellation of your travel or education plans. In case of any difficulty they will not communicate or interact with the applicant but keep the application pending at their end. Very unreliable.

I went for a tourism visa interview. Interview officials ask for a couple of questions related to trip. Days of stay, my employment status, host details etc. It went smooth. Nothing shady. Next day I got mail from VFS Global that my visa has been processed and ready for collection. Be confident and go with flow and be truthful.

Extremely unprofessional, most of the time they don't pick up the phone or else gives a generic reply to emails. A bad representation of a good country.

Never ever ..ever apply for tourist visa for Belgium. They will waste you 10- 12 weeks and in end will refuse no matter how good you file is. Hate them

When we search for Belgium embassy, the search shows Poland embassy, So I have clear that the Belgium embassy is in front of Poland embassy

Belgium Embassy have in Chankya puri. Its one side under construction. Other side will Renovate after complete the other side.

Applied for Belgian visa through VFS, Embassy of Belgium provided the visa within a few days time, great visa services.

Belgium embassy takes too much of your time and end up with a negative result never apply from Belgium embassy.
