Emma Diamond - Travel Counsellors A few weeks ago, my partner suggested that the two of us go on a short city break to Dubrovnik, now that travel regulations have begun to ease. Due to the pandemic, we’ve not been away for two years and I was rather reluctant to go away even now, with all the travel regulations, vaccines and the whole general idea of holidaying during a pandemic. But I needn’t have worried one bit. We booked through Emma Diamond of Travel Counsellors and she metaphorically held our hands through the whole process of booking, travelling and then returning. Nothing was too much trouble for her. And I really mean nothing. She found us the best flights and at the times we asked for them. She found us the best hotel in the location we wanted. She sorted out full Covid insurance, in case one of us came down with the virus, before or during the trip. She sorted out private car hire transfer from the airport to the hotel. In fact, she sorted out everything for us. The list is actually too long to mention. Before we went away, we received a folder from her, containing everything we needed for the trip, including a visitor's guidebook that she'd bought herself, luggage tags, a tourist map of the area and a long list of things to do for tourists. Everything you can imagine that we would need on the trip, to make it easier and more enjoyable. There was even a little handwritten card from Emma wishing us a lovely trip and that she hopes everything goes well. Emma also organised and ordered for us, the three Covid tests that were required before, during and after our trip. She even managed to upgrade our room to one with a seaview balcony, without even telling us, so that it was a surprise when we arrived at the hotel. In all the years that we’ve been travelling abroad, I’ve always been the one to do all the hard work and the research behind the scenes, which can be very stressful sometimes. But this year, with Emma organising absolutely everything for us, I’ve never felt more relaxed and comfortable and reassured about a holiday in my life. I can guarantee that we will always book through Emma in future. We found her to be extremely professional, polite, friendly, intuitive, tenacious and always insisted on going above and beyond anything that we expected from her. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Emma Diamond highly enough if you are planning a staycation, a foreign holiday or just a city break. She’s the jewel in Travel Counsellors’ crown.

For our 1st trip abroad post covid & with a baby in tow - I knew I needed help & that Emma was my go to person! I had quite specific requirements but no time to research - short flight, short transfer, apart-style room, all inc & of course.. not costing the earth! Within 24 hours, Emma found us the perfect option. We’ve just returned from a wonderful week at The Patio Hotel in Albufeira, Portugal. The staff were super friendly, the food was delicious, cocktails readily available (particularly enjoyed my morning espresso martini ) & the accom fit our needs perfectly. Emma & her team didn’t just find this trip for us - seats on the flight were sorted, we were checked in for the flight & sent our boarding passes, private transfers with car seat were arranged for us, early check in at the hotel was requested (absolute life saver with an over due nap!) & they even found out that the hotel offered a baby concierge service meaning we had a highchair, baby bath, changing mat, bottle steriliser all set up ready on arrival - all of this just made our trip so unbelievably stress free & easy - exactly what we needed! Wow! what an amazing holiday Emma organised for us to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. From the moment of first chatting to her about where we were thinking of going, to the day we took off, Emma and her team were on the ball the whole time. So professional and friendly, happy to make changes where necessary, sending out our brilliant wallet with every detail inside before we left, to make this a holiday of a lifetime. Our car hire was easy from beginning to end. Every hotel was just incredible and we were treated like VIP’s when we arrived with cards and wine or champagne in every room to celebrate a very special birthday! Even a secret hotel in Toronto!! The trip was flawless! From arriving at Boston, then visiting Vermont, Montreal, Kingston, Toronto, Niagara on the Lake and the unbelievable Niagara Falls and returning back to Toronto to fly home. Once away Emma’s concierge booked reservations for us at restaurants that even our hotel couldn’t arrange. The fact that everything had been paid for before we left made it all so much easier. We have just returned from an amazing honeymoon all planned and organised by Emma! From the moment we made our initial enquiry Emma really took the time to find out exactly what kind of thing we wanted for our honeymoon (which was initially quite a broad range of different places we were considering) and put together some fab options for us to decide between. The one we went for was absolutely amazing and everything from the travel to the hotel and extra excursions all completely surpassed our expectations. The hotel Emma selected was a totally perfect choice for us and knowing that everything had been organised and booked for us meant we could just relax and enjoy the holiday. I have recently booked a holiday through Emma to South America. This is a huge trip for us and I wanted to make sure that we received expert guidance & support right from the start up until we complete our trip. Emma was amazing! 10/10 experience booking our honeymoon with Emma. We already had a clear idea of where wanted to visit in Mexico and even most of the hotels that we wanted to stay at - she quickly took our plan, made it several times better with some smart tweaks, and took all of the stress out of actually organising that individually. Where do I start…….. Emma is thee most attentive travel consultant I’ve ever had. She’s booked all my long haul trips from flights, hotels, internal flights, transfers, extras etc to which worked like a dream! Whilst travelling ensuring every destination is perfect and on hand should you need her. Short haul holidays we too started booking as everything was made simple! Emma knows more about how to plan the perfect holiday than anyone I’ve ever met. She planned our trip to Mexico and took out all of the hassle of organising a wonderful holiday. We booked our first holiday using an agent. Emma took the minimal information I gave her and came back to me with some options. We had a holiday booked in one day which was incredible for me. I usually stress then procrastinate with any European holidays due to the number of options available but Emma took any stress right out of our holiday planning. Emma was absolutely fantastic! I was stuck in the UK after visiting some family members, and could not return to Australia due to the Covid pandemic. I was desperate to get back to my son, and after trying different travel agencies, I found Emma. Emma scoped and booked us a fantastic honeymoon to Sicily including flights, accommodation and a rental car. The places booked were beautiful and in a lot of cases real hard to find gems. Emma gave us great support during the holiday when we were delayed on our flight out and helped to make sure we secured our rental car despite us landing well after the rental kiosk was due to close.
