This place is such a ripped off - my husband called in the receptionist advising that we have got a script for iron infusion and does your practice offer such services to administer the dose. The lady told us - we need to see the doctor first then book in for an iron infusion. I went in , doctor did a general check up and when I mentioned iron infusion he asked me about the blood results. I said - i dont have it at the moment but will ask my regular gp to send it through. We did not want to go through the whole process of doing a blood test when we have done a blood test already, received a script and was only looking for a place to simply do the iron infusion. The receptionist told us dont worry you can book in next week, its not the Dr who does the iron infusion the nurse. You can book it. We clearly told the receptionist that the Dr wants to do the whole process again, but she insists its fine - just book it. Anyway we booked in again, went there again today wAited another 45mins to be told by the doctor again no we cant do the iron infusion,.please note i even presented my results from my regular clinic this time around and brought with me the iron infusion medication. That doctor wanted to keep seeing me for nothing, then eventually would make money charging us for another couple of visits. He was rude, not professional and very racist. I will officially make a complaint with AHPRA. Reply to your comments- the doctor has only done a general check up- upon mentioning iron infusion - he asked me all about the reasons why i needed an iron infusion and said you needed to bring your results. I have brought my results with me the second time around. Please note I have been provided with a script from another practice. If a doctor cant trust his fellow colleague from-providing a script correctly then we should all question the medical system. Oh by the way he even got his medical notes wrong. He purposely took the bit out where I mentioned about the iron infusion with him. The blood pressure machine was not even working properly. Either way even if its the protocol we have wasted our time. If we would have been informed properly we would not have come there in the first place. No point for us to re do the whole process when weve done it already. Clearly we we’re misinformed!!!!!!!

Visited Dr Wafek twice but the experience was extremely unpleasant. For us, its a big NO for any further visits to him. Extremely rude, arrogant and lacks ethics especially being in this noble profession. Visited him for our 6 weeks old baby's vaccination and check-up with prior appointment taken ( Note: Appointment was given on a weekday to accommodate vaccination as we were told by his reception staff that he doesn't vaccinate on the weekends). Upon consulting Dr Wafek, we were told that we had only an appointment for the check up and not vaccination. With a pre-existing condition for my baby, we just wanted a referral to a specialist. We were told that we should have booked in 2 appointments to accommodate a referral letter. Are you kidding me?How do we know that we need to book in 2 appointments separately.  I have never done/ heard that with any other GP. This is how people like them exploit the system through unethical malpractices.He even justified that his clinic does not have any patients does not mean that he is not busy, which we felt was immaterial in this context. We really don't care whether you have/get patients or not. Not recommended at all. Had there been a 0 star, I would have given that.

You can always tell whether a doctor is good or not simply by how they treat your kids. Ali Azzam had already judged us as inferior from the moment he saw us. He did not want to go anywhere near my kid and was very rude and frustrated by my kid's presence. And my kid did nothing to provoke such treatment besides be a happy little chap. First of all, this is a FAMILY clinic and if you don't like kids nor people based upon your racist assumptions, why are you a doctor and why are you a doctor at a "family" clinic? When I was seen, Ali chose not to listen and comprehend what I had to say but instead asserted himself above me and made it out as if I had no idea what I was on about nor did he give any advice in overcoming me and my kid's sicknesses. Similar service from Omar Wafek except he is a little more subtle about his discontent. This place only gets one star for the receptionist.

Horrible experience with receptionist Mawra. She is so rude and unprofessional. I booked 3 appointments for 3 of my family members and as they got sick at different timings I couldn’t get consecutive times hence she called me to tell me that I need to come in at those times only and dr can’t see my kids so I had one appointment which meant a 2 hour time difference and she said that’s they way it is. When I asked her to reconsider apparently she cancelled all my appointments even when I told her I had a sick child . I still have these bookings online . When I called to check again she said she gave up those appointments to other people and then pretended not to hear me on the phone. Go to another practise . No point supporting practices that don’t care about people and has no heart . Super disappointed.

Lacks education and ability to put the patients health first. Have seen Dr Omar on multiple occasions, aside from his need to google things right in front of me at several visits (for basic blood test result consultations), i also saw him in parallel to a specialist for an ongoing hip problem. Upon diagnoses from the specialist Dr Omar refused to refer me to get the necessary treatment because he did not 'understand' the requirements. He refused to liaise with the specialist (despite the offer) for a more thorough explanation. A doctor that doesn't put his patients health first should not be practicing. If you have any concerns that require any substantial medical knowledge - avoid!

Dr Omar has been our family GP since 2012. He is very thorough and kind and answers your questions the best way he can. The wait time can be very incovenient even for myself but its still worth it with the quality of care that he provides. He wont rush you when its your turn. He is also great with kids. I have been to other practices in the area when I cant get a booking but only for issues that im not really concerned about because the doctors are basically "order takers" giving you what you want in 5 minutes. DR. omar would know if youre only pretending to be sick to get a certifcate LOL.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Omar Wafek for over 5 years now. He has been an excellent Dr. more like a friend and a kind & gentle human being. Apart from this he is very thorough in his field of work and knows his medicine very very well. Might I add a bit strict Dr. always encouraging his patients to take care of themselves. The Receptionists are very accomodating with times and ALWAYS attend to our calls without making us wait. I definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a good Dr.

Had a booking for a phone consultation on Friday at 1:10 to get some rest results. Didn't hear from him so at 2:00 I called the practice to find out what was going on. I was told the doctor was running late and was assured he would call. The practice's closing time came and went and I never heard from him. They are now closed for Christmas and the new year so I can't see him for a couple of weeks. I would just go to another doctor but, because it's for test results I can't. VERY PORE FORM.

Dr. Omar is the best gp for my kids and for my family. He is highly-recommended and like everyone else's review, he takes time to check you and even explain to you your illness and sets your expectation as to what's gonna happen the next days etc.. sometimes it can be a long wait but it's worth it because he will give you the same quality time as other patients. Dr. Omar filled my partner's script in incorrectly. Upon correcting this, made it feel as though he was doing us a favour (it is his job), was disrespectful towards me and his support worker and informed him of a letter that he DID NOT tell him that he needed. Disgusted. Clearly guilty but could not admit to it. Never coming back.

What a good service I came in with a swollen gum but the front desk girl didn’t even care told me doctor can’t see you without an appointment. Your suppose to be a medical professional for emergency and you do nothing . You should rethink why you opened that medical clinic . Rubbish

The worst place I have ever visited for treatment. Dr Omar suggested wrong medication twice for my child, somehow escaped when took my child to the hospital. And the nurse wall killing my child while taking blood. Will never recommend this place for treatment.

I've been a patient at this clinic for a while now and Dr Omar has been fantastic the whole time. Marwa was totally professional in my experience (on the phone, in person, and administratively),Reception staff and nurses are very helpful and friendly.

I'm a patient of Dr Omar for over 4.5 years. He is very focused on treating the illness rather then seeing as many patients as he can like every other GP's do. Very focused and would highly recommend everyone else.

Dr Omar was super thorough, lovely, professional and legitimately felt like he actually cared. He explained everything so thoroughly. If you’re doctor shopping, I would highly highly recommend him.

Dr. Omar been an excellent Doctor for our family for last 4yrs. Waiting times a killer though. Sometimes might take up to 1hr before our turn. Would be great if that came be reduced.. …

They are running like a retail shop. The doctor will make you come back 4-5 times before treat may be i contact the registrar to see. The more time I go, he charge medicare more times
