Uscendo dalla Metro B Cavour, s'aprono le porte allegre e calde del Caffettiere, un bar dove i cornetti sono buonissimi e lo stesso dicasi per caffè e cappuccini. Hanno anche una saletta calda dove mi capitava di andare con le amiche quando si han cose segrete da divider in cuore, pensiero e vita. Uso l'imperfetto, è d'obbligo e il perché lo saprete nel capoverso che segue e che tiene per mano il primo. Per me, che sono monticiana da 25 anni oramai, unico neo di questo bar (ma peccato veniale, di grazia) dà il benvenuto a tutti quanti e anche a una certa signora (la quale monticiana non è!) che al mattino presto festosa vi incede e viene salutata con tutti gli onori: peccato che la detta signora non paga la pigione dell'appartamento (monticiano quello pure), che occupa abusivamente da un anno ed è da ottobre, secondo proprio il tribunale di Roma (non monticiano) sotto sfratto esecutivo. Sono cose tristi che rendono triste, per me, il bar dove per questo motivo, a malincuore, da buona monticiana alla Beppe Fenoglio, non vado più...

Today i had worser breakfast in my life. I took “American breakfast “ 10€ with omelette and toast bread. In the end it was very simple not tasty omelette without salt pepper ect, just eggs and only when I asked about bread they said they started to prepare ... after I showed photo of a bread to a girl who is working there and she just said I’m sorry, that’s it. I know that place and often going there to take aperitivo, and first time I took a breakfast there and was absolutely disappointed. Just come on, fooling people like this is too much.

Tutto ottimo! Alessandro sa accoglierti con un sorriso e tanta cortesia ed inoltre sa capire la sua clientela e conosce il mestiere. Abbiamo preso un primo spritz con un piatto di stuzzichini tutti azzeccati, assaggio di salumi e formaggi, verdure e pasta fredda. E poi un secondo spritz accompagnato da un altro piatto. Tutto ottimo come il rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci torneremo sicuramente

Was 6 days in Rome and in 3 out of 6 we had breakfast here. The croissants and cappuccinos are very good for good value. But the best part was the service. Spartaco is very nice and the second day we went there, he already knew our order by heart.

Delicious pastries (best croissants ever!). The best tasting espresso we've tasted among multiple "coffee shops" we tried around town on our trip. And great service - especially the 2 guys behind the counter - keep up the good job! Thank you!

Ho trascorso quasi un intera mattinata in questo locale. Mi sono trovato molto bene per lavorare al pc e pranzare. Una nota di merito per Fernando che è stato gentile e dispensatore di buon umore! Tornerò sicuramente, questa volta però senza lasciare il condimento della pasta..

Bustling cafe, we enjoyed popping in for a cappuccino and pastry while in Rome. We opted to sit in, and found the service friendly and fast even though they were always very busy.

Don't bother if you're after Americano. It's just scorching hot water with a mild taste of average coffee. Also no protection for the take away cup, so apart from the tongue you'll also burn your fingers

Delicious, flaky, flavorful croissants. The filled ones are fine, but really the plain one just has all the flavor while the filling somehow costs the overall experience something.

Ci hanno fatto pagare per 2 caffè, un the e 3 paste (di cui 1 mignon) ben 13€, dicendo che il sovrapprezzo era x il servizio al tavolo, tra l’altro ci siamo portate noi le paste al tavolo e ci hanno detto di non aspettare perché il caffè lo avrebbero portato loro. Non sono per nulla trasparenti e temo si approfittino dei turisti

Siamo stati in questo bar per una colazione veloce al banco e siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Abbiamo preso 2 caffe e 2 cornetti (5,00euro). Cornetto e caffè buoni. Le tazzine molto carine e decorate. I gestori erano gentilissimi. I prezzi sono esposti sia all’esterno che all’interno. Posto consigliato.

Rarely do we get a "takeaway", but my wife's hands were cold and they were clearly set up for the to-go items. She had a cappuccino decafionado. It was great. Plus, she had a lenzer cookie, and it was great. We will go there again.

Call it blasphemous, but my coffee of choice is a double-shot Americano served in a glass full of ice. In a country where people prefer to drink their espresso straight, this place serves what other place won’t. Delicious coffee served with a smile. Altro

Great aperol and campari spritz, they came with potato chips and a large bowl of salted peanuts. Friendly service and reasonable prices. They were serving aperitivo which looked great, but we were still stuffed from lunch so we haven’t tried.

Er Caffettiere è un bar eccezionale. Spartaco con tutto lo staff sono in grado di accogliere con generosità anche l’avventore più esigente che cerca il gusto della tradizione nel cuore di ROMA. Un grande.
