I was very disappointed in my experience with Ericka. As a first time homebuyer, I did not feel supported in the process. I felt like she was rushing the whole process without listening to my needs or wants. In one instance, she sent me houses that were out of my budget. When I asked her why, she advised me to use my family contacts for financial help. Huh?! I used her referrals for both inspection and lender, and had issues with honestly and integrity with both contacts. To make matters worse, Ericka did not even know the day I had to close. She seemed surprised when I asked her if she would be joining me at the signing, which was the most frustrating part of the whole process. Upon moving in to my new home, we had a lot of issues that could have been addressed in the final walk-through. When I spoke with her, she told me that she never does final walk-throughs with clients. When I talked to a few friends that had gone through the home buying process, they all said they did a final walk through with their realtors. Lastly, there was no other follow up from Ericka. No thank you, no parting gift, nothing. I learned the hard way. All in all, please make sure you do a proper interview with all your real estate professionals. It will save you a lot of stress in the end.
