It's been almost 2 months since the mask mandates have been lifted in Ontario and this store is not only posting a request in the door for patrons to wear a mask but they also harass clients as they walk in if they don't have one. This is absolutely ridiculous. It is clear that Escape has a complete disregard for provincial health recommendations and city by-laws. The lady was also rude to me when I expressed my discontent about her oppressive expectations. I will never walk into this store again. I do not support this kind of discrimination.

I have been a client of Escape Women‘s Store for many years. It‘s always a pleasure to visit the store. They have a wonderful selection of clothing and the staff is friendly and very helpful. On my recent visit I noticed the mention of face masks. I appreciated this as I have members in my circle who are immune compromised and I am very conscious of staying safe for them.

while visiting Ottawa we came upon Escape store; this was our worst experience in all the fashion stores we visited so far, rude welcome, mask requirement harrasement (though for 2 months masks not longer requiered), rude staff; we walked out very quickly ending up in a much more welcoming stores; so NO for us Escape is definitely NOT a store to go to

I’ve just been to Escape and as usual found something I couldn’t live without. I’ve been going to Escape for many years and it is such a pleasant experience. The staff is amazing and helpful and I love the selection and brands they carry. I make sure I go several times per season and am never disappointed. Thanks for being so close by.

Escape has a great selection of clothing and as importantly very helpful staff who work there. The store and the people who work here are terrific. Thank you for keeping us all safe. Really appreciate the signage up front re preferring masking at this time! Thanks!

This female-owned shop has just the perfect Canadian made clothes for so many situations - casual, a bit dressier, stylish, comfortable, well-made and well-priced. I have been shopping there for many, many years and can always find something I love.

I was visiting Ottawa and stopped by Escape. What a beautiful store. The service was amazing. They chose items for me to try on that were perfect. I will visit this store when I visit Ottawa again
