The one thing I will say for this store is that it has a large variety of offerings that I can't find elsewhere. Despite that, I would not recommend shoping here unless you have no other options. The staff is supremely unhelpful, and three different employees I interacted with on separate occasions all seemed to be grumpy about something completely different. The complete lack of customer service made it feel like you were inconveniencing them by being there, asking questions, and buying their products. The prices on these products were astonishingly high, as well - I later discovered that I paid almost 20% more at this store than I would have at another local competitor. The only bright point in my experience with this store was interacting with Stephanie - she was a bright and friendly presence amidst a sea of terse and dismissive old men.

Ordered online 8 days ago and order (for 2 of the same bottles of Vermut) are still being prepared. Ordered from another online shop after placing order with madwine and those 4 different bottles have already been delivered FedEx ground - same as what Madwine says they deliver if they actually deliver. I would highly caution and am considering canceling the card that I had used. No communication. No response to email. Not only obviously disappointing and frustrating but scary in scam tip. In this day and age of online ordering I have never seen such delay - even when ordering from Hawaii Alaska and Connecticut no such delay and with such lack of communication. Also since I have been waiting have found same bottles for cheaper at other sites.

Drove 2 hours to attend the champagne tasting event that included special pricing. Purchased several bottles of champagne and when I got home I discovered that I was charged $86.99 instead of special price of $77.99. Contacted the owner on 12/06 and still no resolution of getting my $9 refund. Of course if I was overcharged how many other customers were overcharged? I have been an Esquin customer for over 25 years and work hard for my money but it is clear that Esquin makes their money by overcharging their customers.

Oh My Goodness Human's! Okay ok you got me at my Favorite Wine and Spirits OF enchantment store. The Esquin I introduce. We all have such different palette's and they change as we age like a fine wine I will introduce you to my list of favorite wines and drinks. One thing I do know is that Esquin Wine & Spirits is absolutely the Establishment of Fine Wines that you need to visit for the best in the NorthWest! The Spirits are Impeccable. Carry on and don't forget to wear a mask because somebody love's you!

it took them a very long time to figure that they don't carry the liquor we were looking for so we downgraded. i found the appropriate section on my own and was searching the shelves for several minutes before they gave me a mumbling response. then they sniffed at me when i asked if they carried any cold seltzer water & told me to try the gas station. i mean, why would anyone expect them to carry any of their mixers cold, right? wine snobs only

I bought a case of sparkling wine from Argentina, pictures and labels in the description were very clear it was the cuvée reserve rose …. However . I got the premier rose , lower tier and when I call a very mean rep Wendy , was trying to convince me that the label was change and it was a new label to keep it simple . Stay away from these store is not worth dealing false advertisement an really bad customer service

I ordered from Esquin Wine & Spirits through Drizly, so I'm not entirely sure on what the prices are, but from the website, the Eagle Rare 10 was $39.99. Now compared to Prime Now's price of $31.99, a ~25% markup on Esquin Wine & Spirits' side, that's kind of painful to bear. It seemed like some of the other liquors were more reasonably priced, but I was looking forward to trying this interesting bottle.

Oh my gosh! Last night they had their annual Champagne Showcase. Tickets were $25. They had 49 different champagnes to sample, and they were all ice cold! Not to mention that they have very knowledgeable and helpful staff for a normal visit and just about anything you could possibly want to drink at their location. I believe they will do special orders if they don't have what you're looking for.

A really smooth and ideal experience. Check out Google's inside view if you haven't been by. It basically gives a virtual tour that let me check if they had a handful of spirits I was looking for. Parking was very close and easy. Staff were kind and helpful with wine suggestions. Pricing was competitive. It's even very close to the light rail. Check them out if you haven't.

Varied selection of many PNW wines, as well as an excellent selection of global wines from classic regions like Bordeaux and Tuscany to lesser known (and equally delicious) regions such as Chile, Australia, Portugal, and Greece. Superb selection of whiskey other hard liquor as well. The staff has always been very friendly and knowledgeable about the selection.

In a world where it seems like Amazon will deliver you anything, (esquin delivers, too) going here in person is a real treat. The selection of interesting stuff is wonderful. And, the best part is the employees that will show you new things to try and hidden gems. It's nice there's still a human touch to go along with the great selection and prices.

This place is great! They have a large selection of great and affordable wines. The alcohol is a little expensive but the selection is really good. The staff is super helpful and kind. They have a very good selection of Italian wines, my favorite. It's a clean store and they do good tastings. They provide access to a bathroom which is really nice.

An outstanding local business with a fine selection of wine and good selection of liquor. The staff are available & approachable when you have questions. That's important to me in the wide world of wine. And times they didnt have what I was looking for they ordered & secured it within a few days. There's both street parking and a parking lot.

Excellent selection of all types of alcohols. They have wines from several different countries. Decent selection of every type of liquor, they hit the most popular and a few rarer items. Large selection of beers. Definitely come here if you are looking for something other than your norm. Ask the staff they are knowledgeable and helpful.

  • Bruce Ward

Amazing selection, front and back of the store. We could have spent hours in there checking out the great varieties from not only Washington and around the world. As well as some mighty fine liquors, name brands and some smaller select ones too! When in Seattle out this unique store. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff.

  • Danae Spencer

Amazing selection. Poor customer service. Wines organized by country/regions, several types of spirits and beers. I was offered help by one person who told me where to find the wine but was too busy/disinterested to guide me to the selection. This was my third visit with similar results and won't be returning.

  • Adam Krolewski

Good shop for whiskey. Good spot to get allocated and hard to find bottles. Knowledgeable staff. Not much selection of beer. I dont say that as a negative, just so others realize that this is a liquor and wine store first and foremost. And at that it really is a cut above the rest.

Live in Minnesota and just had 4 bottles of wine shipped. Got them in a week and were exactly what we were looking for. Nice to find a store across America that ships to your door and delivers on what I ordered. Looking forward to ordering more in the near future.

  • Elizabeth Harris

What a happy place! The exterior is a bit intimidating for the casual wino, but inside you'll find staff that caters to those of us looking for a $15 rose` just as happily as they might with a more experienced customer. I even learned a few things about my wine!

  • Deborah Scherer

My go-to Seattle wine and liquor store. I'm a long term customer and really love this place. They have wonderful free tastings on a near weekly basis. And a very knowledgeable staff to help out and wines in every price range with tons of affordable options.

  • Sam Jasmin

I had a bad experience with vivino another online wine distribution co. I called and Mad wine quickly came to the rescue! Will definitely use Mad wine for my future wine orders and great customer service. Thank you Wendy @ Esquin wine and Spirits!

  • Soldado Azteca Gaming (BIG Garna)

I recently attended an event they were hosting a bottle signing so, before the actress (promoting her tequila) arrived they encourage people to buy the bottle before she started signing. 5pm to 8pm they post on social media, well after

  • Austin Palmer

The selection was good including some things I haven't been able to find at other local stores. I did notice that some prices on the more standard things I've bought at my grocery store or other liquor stores are more expensive tho.

  • Greg Gobat

Lots of stuff here for a small store, but after coming frequently their beer selection seems to be lacking in variety. Could definitely improve with some more rotations. However, hats off for always supporting the local breweries!

  • Micah Clark

Wonderful south Seattle gem for wine lovers to intro drinkers. The staff are delightfully knowledgeable and friendly with undeniable charm. They're also deeply passionate about aiding in finding exactly what you crave.

  • Brendan O'Connor

Selection is weirdly poor, but by far the largest problem is that the employees keep taking their masks off to sing along with their music. It’s not worth dying just to not have to drive to Total Wine—go elsewhere!

  • Van Sawin

Really great selection of wine and spirits. Their staff was knowledgeable and answered my stupid questions without being condescending. Found a great new bourbon and some white wine that was at a great price point.

  • Simon Zatyrka

These guys are the pros. Almost never a bad choice. Thoughtfully curated. Sometimes a little more expensive than chains. Mildly daunting at first. Once you feel the value of the back room deals you will be hooked.

  • irvin rollins

Very good service, greet u with a smile and hello as u enter the store. They have everything u need in wines and spirits. Nice clean store and friendly employee's. I highly recommend this company. …

  • Eric Klein

Great store with a huge selection of wine, small but good local beer options, and wide variety of spirits to choose from. Staff is friendly and helpful. Worth stopping in if you haven't been before.

  • Ray Habib

Good customer service unfortunately they have very small bourbon selection I'm not sure if they keep some stuff in the back or that's all they have? Only average bourbon nothing special.

  • Ian Kemp

Rang the doorbell for entrance which sketched me out at first but the staff were very friendly and helpful and knew exactly where things were, very good selection.

  • Jason Renek

1 word... SELECTION!!! Not to mention they have a fantastic inventory system and can easily jump on their computer and see if they have what you want in stock.

  • Steve Cook

Large and impressive selection of wine and spirits. Email alerts on special pricing and vintages. Very helpful staff. In store tastings are a lot of fun.

  • Jovonneb “jovonneb”

Very nice people, big selection of wine. I only drink whiskey and they had a good selection with regular prices. I'll comeback whe in the neighborhood.

  • chuck

  • LauriV Bertagna

They were great, I took a photo of a bottle of wine. They did not carry it but are doing some research so they can get it for me!

  • Steve Cusick

Go here for wine in Seattle. Great mainstream and off the wall selections. Great estate selection. I trust them wholeheartedly.
