I came to this place to have a relaxing experience looking at all the positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing close to a relaxing experience. I had a facial and body scrub and neither met my expectation. They sell themselves as a luxurious message place, so perhaps I had higher expectations than I should have, but it did not feel luxurious as described in the photos. 1. The construction noise was awful. I was brought to the top floor for my treatment and extremely loud construction noise went on throughout my treatment and it was not an appropriate environment to have a relaxing time. (I later found out through the manager that their next door building was having a construction, which I understand is not their fault, but they could have not used that top floor while construction is taking place.) 2. Bad experience with the facial. The staff was very rough with my face especially around my eye area which made it feel very uncomfortable and scary. Whenever she wiped my face, she'd rub my eyes in a way that would almost peel back my eyelids and it was painful as soup and lotion went into my eyes. She was also not considerate when applying soap and lotion onto my face, putting a lot of it both on my mouth and around my nose, making it very difficult to breathe. She went onto pop my acne with a sharp tool, which I was not expecting at all and asked her to stop once she started because it was too painful and it didn't feel safe. Because I could not communicate with the staff in English, I would have really appreciated it if they could give me a quick explanation as to what is included in each treatment before we started so that I would have known what to expect better. 3. The body scrub was okay, but nothing fancy. They quickly scrub your body while you're laying down on a bed and wrap you around with a sheet to let you "sleep" for 15 minutes which I personally found uncomfortable to sit with coffee scrub all over my body. After that they take you to a shower/toilet room where you rinse your body and they put lotion on you at the end. The staff were talking to each other in the room which I found it unprofessional and made it difficult for me to relax. The manager gave me a discount once I shared how I felt about the service which was a very nice gesture. The staff seemed lovely overall, but I had a far better experience at another spa in Hanoi so I don't think I'll be coming back again.

Mediocre-bad experience, and rude masseuse. Disappointed. I wouldn't say they are terrible but I think there are other much better places to go. Went to Estheva Spa last week on my vacation in Hanoi, saw that this place has many great reviews so my friends and I decided to give it a shot. The massage started off fine but then the masseuse clearly got distracted throughout the massage, she would sometimes press hard on my bones (I have been to many massages and I know that is not a suitable spot) and other times, she would just go through the motions and "move my flesh around" but not really press down. She kept chatting with the other masseuse in the room. There was one time where I was supposed to turn around to face up on the massage table, and the masseuse was supposed to cover my face/eyes with a cloth. She rudely threw the cloth at my face instead from a distance. I am usually very fair and easy going , but this experience was so horrible I needed to leave this review so people would think again before visiting. To be fair, 2 of my other friends had a mediocre experience and 1 of my friend had a great experience, so I think it is a hit or miss situation. For the price point, I really think you can find another better place. There are so many good places around. When I feedbacked to the staff that I think the massage experience was average, they offered to refund me 20% - which was a nice gesture. I didn't take it because that wasn't the reason why I gave the feedback, I just hope they do something about this. I would give this place 1 or 2 stars, but will raise it to 3 stars since the manager tried to make up for it.

i visited here twice while in Hanoi for two weeks. my friend and i had visited one other massage parlor but were disappointed (poor massage, asked for tip several times, offputting music). at Estheva, our experience was improved in the following ways: no one asked us for tip (though i highly suggest you tip the masseuse, as it’s already very, very cheap); the music was calming and consistent; the masseuse followed the guidance provided by the client information sheet you are asked to fill out before the massage; i was able to tip on credit card and the tip was paid out immediately to the masseuse; the manager offered us luggage service and a discounted massage for returning, and additionally ordered a taxi for us to return to the airport at a discounted rate. by this i mean that on the day of my departure, i was able to get an excellent 2 hour massage and the manager called a cab for me which i only paid $10 USD for (the standard trip is $12-14 before tip). had i had a later flight, the massage parlor would have kept my things safe. i highly recommend and will be back next time im in Hanoi!

I wanted my last day in Hanoi to be relaxing and calm, so I chose the 4 hour spa-package which was advertised to include drinks, desserts, and food. The spa services were amazing, but noticed that the sequence of events was very methodical. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the warmth of my experience was missing. The only part I did not enjoy was the 15 minute steam session as I felt it was crazy hot and rather stifling. I probably only endured 8-10 minutes. At the end of my session, I was given a sandwich and an iced tea (no desserts ) and was made to eat it by the entrance which made me feel rather awkward. My exit actually went unnoticed as all the attention was given to new clients that just came in. I would encourage customer service to be mindful that the spa experience includes not just the actual spa services, but the entire welcome, dining, and exit process. I would also ask that you provide a separate space for clients to enjoy their refreshments. This was advertised in the package, so time and space for clients to partake in this is just as important.

I arrived in Hanoi for an extended stay last fall, and I first discovered Estheva Spa after searching online for highly regarded day spa establishments. Given the large number of day spas available in Hanoi, I feel very fortunate to have found Estheva Spa, and, after reading many glowing reviews, I made my first appointment last September. Simply put, that appointment was wonderful. The spa itself is warmly furnished and welcoming; the reception staff is patient, helpful and friendly; and the therapists are professional, caring and accommodating. Everything is first rate! Since my initial visit last September, I have been back for four more appointments -- each visit has been equally fantastic, in large part due to the two therapists who I have seen, Ms. Nga and Ms. Phuong. Both are simply excellent therapists, and a great reason for my plan for more return visits to Estheva Spa in the future! Estheva Spa, located very close to Hoàn Kiếm Lake, is a real gem for Hanoi visitors and residents alike. Highly recommended!

The massage was the best one I ever had in my life. I had a 120min Shiatsu massage with focus on neck and shoulders. My therapist Ms. Thu nr.2 was amazing and professional. She listen to all my requests and wishes. She put the perfect amount of pressure and slowly increased it when my tensions got less (more relaxed). She knew the pressur points and could feel where my problematic spots and knots were. She could release all my tension there and after the massage I felt so relaxed as if I could fly. My shouldres felt light and not heavy like before. The ambience of the Spa was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you Miss Thu 2 for the best massage in my life. I recommend this place and if available Miss Thu2.

That was amazing massage I've had. Price, staff, music,....Everything was great.I went to the spa with my friends few days ago. We got relaxing body massage within 90 minutes. Very value for money. The massage therapists were great and the ambience was wonderful. We were welcomed by the receptionist with a welcome drink while we waited for room to be ready. My treatment was done by professional lady. I was very impressed by her service which made me feel secure and relax. The pressure was just right and on spot. Viza card are accepted. Would highly recommend this spa. We will come back here next time.

I loved my experience here!!! I booked the 5 20 minutes. And it was lovely. It was worth every second. They did the foot treatment and facial at the same time which was the best pampering I’ve ever had. I’m flying home feeling so relaxed and I am so very grateful for this spa. This experience was the standard for service. The place was clean even though it wasn’t fancy and there was still noise from outside. I would absolutely recommend and return.

We came to Estheva spa after a long few weeks of traveling. I absolutely loved my experience and I would recommend to any travelers. This was an amazing experience! My legs were sore from my trek in Sapa and my partner and I decided to stop by this place (as recommended by our food tour guide) to get a massage. The service was excellent and my masseuse was professional and good at her job. She worked out all the soreness and ache in my legs and I feel like a new person. I will definitely be back for a second visit whenever I am back in Hanoi.

The spa is very new and nicely set up - nice vibe when you walk in and everyone is welcoming and professional. Estheva Spa is an awesome place to visit. Located in a good location and easy to get into there. It's very calm and beautiful. The staffs are so nice, smiles and good taking care. The therapist has good skills with the special massage techniques. All of this makes me feel relaxed, comfortable, and happy. It's worth to visit. I have to come again for sure.

Amazing experience ! Place is very clean and welcoming. After selecting the massage package they will request to fill up a form. The form allows you to state the type of strength you like and the place which needa more focus. Ended up with the thai massage and it was very good. Pressure is on point ! Just finished a 1.5 hour full body and foot massage in this lovely wee spa in central Hanoi. The staff were very attentive and wanted to ensure that their visually impaired masseurs knew exactly the areas/points of the body to focus on. My friend and I both did the 75 minute Thai massage with oil. Our two masseuses did an excellent job and were attentive throughout. The massage was just as good as any massage we've received elsewhere in Southeast Asia, even better than most others we've tried. I highly recommend Estheva Spa.

We had booked the Package and it was really wonderful. From the welcome to the treatment - everything was perfect. The room was beautifully decorated, we could really let ourselves go and enjoy the three hours very much. We will definitely stop by again on our next trip to VietNam.

Tuyet was masterful in her massage technique. I like a strong massage and she was able to provide the correct level of pressure. I chose the no oil option and enjoyed it tremendously. 60 minutes body and 60 minute foot massage was perfect after the long flight from overseas.

We had a foot massage after an entire day of walking the streets of Hanoi, and I felt I could instantly go for at least another dozen miles. Duy and Khuyen are really great therapists, and at the end they also gave us a quick back massage that was incredibly refreshing.
