Great customer service! The guy there knows his stuff. I've bought some mitmita, berbere, incenses, tukurkimim(i think), and two other things. I don't remember them but the guy told me. Also, they weren't lying when they said their products were organic. I tasted them and they were amazing. I strongly recommend you get spices from this store. The products here are unlike any other store I have visited. They guy even told me that the other stores sold fake "organic" spices. Especially, the honey tasted unreal. If you are wondering, this store doesn't only sell spices. They have other merchandises as well. Anyways overall great experience. I strongly recommend you to BUY FROM THIS STORE. THIS STORE IS AMAZING!!!!
Often times I come here from my break from work to smell some fresh spices and enjoy some injera. The drinks are extremely overpriced however it is ok because I am very wealthy and I come to the store for the experience not the price. The location is right beside a furniture store which has a mirror in the front which I use to check myself out before walking in because you already know I got to impress the handsome young man who is working there. One time my friend Ryan came to the store and he said it was really disgusting, however I later dropped him as a friend so its all good.
I went to this store a couple of times in search for the best african spices and while the spices did work incredibly in my home cooking african inspired dishes. When i was about to leave the store, I was met with over-priced drinks, 3.25 for a soda in this neighborhood? this is indubitably insane, I advise the owners (especially the one with a mask and a big forehead) to lower the prices by the time i come again and I will improve the rating
The store is great but 1 problem there is this one employee named Hamdy and his forehead gets in the way when I try to see the products and spices. He has an undecipherable accent aswell its so thick and african. The injera is incredible though, I love the interior as it reminds me of back in the day when I used to live in a run down apartment, really brings me back to those lovely memories.
I am happy to have found this store, walkable distance from my home, where I can find all the Ethiopian spices I need to cook healthy and delicious Ethiopian meals. The fresh injeera they make every morning is excellent. For anyone who wants to eat healthy, with more veggies and whole plant food, Ethiopian vegetarian meals are the tastiest, and they are not that difficult to do.
Today was my first time visiting this store They have big variety of Ethiopia products and other. For Ethiopians who live close by I recommend this store.. You don't have to travel to far east or west to buy your spice and Groceries..
The store has a variety of interesting items from quality coffee beans to different kinds incense and incense bowls, and more. The owner Ibrahim is polite and is pleasant to chat with. It is always a pleasure to drop by.
The injera is great and made every morning in the back, much better than other Ethiopian stores I've bought from in Toronto. You can tell the quality difference easily
Kids please stop posting a review about a store you don’t even go to or know of. In my preference the store is not bad.
HORRIBLE experience buying spices. Drinks are way over priced for a gatorade
Great store! Y’all should buy their products! Fresh and amazing!!!
Best Ethiopian grocery store I have frequented in Toronto.
